Enjoy breathtaking views of the ocean and sunset on the massive balcony. Relax in the tropical garden, lounge poolside, BBQ in the yard. Close proximity to town (8 min), and a 5-min walk to the beach, an ideal location. Your booking includes concierge service for booking activities.

Casa Tropical is a modern two story home with detached suites and offers sleek contemporary decor, sweeping million dollar ocean views and is located right in the heart of Tamarindo. The floor to ceiling glass sliders open up to a spacious balcony and dining area for an ideal indoor/outdoor living space. Here, you'll feel the refreshing ocean breezes, hear the tropical birds singing and howler monkeys! The first and second floor living spaces have spacious open floor plans, large balconies and patio, tons of windows and offer a truly tropical and luxurious feel. It’s a surfer’s paradise since you can check the waves from the balcony! The beach break in Tamarindo is great for all levels.

The Layout
There are 5 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, 2 bedrooms that share a bathroom, 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms. BBQ grill on the large balcony and a driveway that fits 3 cars.

2nd floor living room and kitchen:
The main living room opens up to a large balcony overlooking the pool and ocean. The 2nd level kitchen is outfitted with high grade appliances and lots of prepping room.

1st floor living room and kitchen:
The living room on the main floor is the perfect space for extra guests, or a family with kids/teens who want the separate space/privacy. Everyone has a comfortable living area, while living under the same roof. This is a favorite feature for our guests.

Detached suites:
At the opposite side of the swimming pool, there is a detached 2 bedroom suites and en-suite bathrooms. Both bedrooms have ocean views and a balcony. These 2 bedrooms are separate from the main house and offer privacy. The garden and pool divides the detached suites and main home.

*We offer daily cleaning service for the house included on the total price.

Quiet time: We love and respect our neighbors and families that live close by. All vacation rental homes in Tamarindo are in residential areas with neighbors close by. We have a noise curfew at 9pm. We cannot allow noise, loud music after this time or late parties at the house.

Casa Tropical is located in a tranquil part of town and close to everything. Tamarindo Beach offers the best in restaurants, shopping, nightlife and amazing tourist activities! You're centrally located to 5 other must-see beaches. The town is an eclectic mix of tourists, locals and full time foreigners from all over the world. You are sure to make friends here :)

Tamarindo is not very big so it's fun to explore by foot! The beach is an 8 minute walk away. However, a car is convenient and recommended. Electric golf carts are a great way to travel around town! Your whole vacation experience will be even richer with a set of wheels. Please contact us to assist you with rentals. We work with vendors who offer a great service and fair rates :)

Phenomenal place & just breathtaking! Best are the sunsets every evening!! Scott & Dana were so easy going to rent from!!! Def highly recommend and we will be back to stay here!!!!

Nice Stay

Overall the house was nice, but if you looked at the details some work was needed. The kitchen lacked a baking pan and the a/c unit dripped condensation onto the stove. The back porch was large and had a beautiful view of the ocean but could use more lawn chairs for the number of people the house sleeps. Also, it would be nice to let guest know ahead of time about the night watchmen. We were startled the first several nights to find a man sitting by our cars and door, we tried speaking to him but he didn’t speak English. It was nice having a daily cleaning service. The pool was not usable the first night we arrived but was cleaned the next morning. One of the bedroom’s a/c units quit working and I called/texted 2 people but it took a few days for a response, but then it was fixed immediately. Overall our stay was nice, the windows and views were beautiful, the location was great, the driveway fit all 3 cars and the location/number of bedrooms and bathrooms worked out nicely. Thank you for having us.

Amazing Ocean View

Amazing property design from all rooms, swimming pool and main room to include kitchen, living room and extra large balcony. Staff were above and beyond helpful and this home is in a great location.

Perfect Location & Concierge Service Included

I recently stayed at Tropical Casa with 14 friends in late July 2021. Our host, Christina, helped us book everything for our stay including airport transportation, excursions, a private chef and yoga instructor which made planning the trip a breeze. Onsite the house manager Enrique was extremely responsive and helped us confirm everything Christina booked ahead of time. The house has a great set-up with 5 bedrooms in the main house and 2 bedrooms in a guest house. The main floor of the main house has a living room that opens up to a large balcony with views of the ocean. The pool had a shallow area perfect for lounging. Our only complaint would be that there were a few insects in the house, but I imagine that is very normal for Costa Rica and Enrique delivered extra bug spray that helped a little. All together it was a wonderful trip and everyone was raving about the trip from start to finish.

This is a fantastic layout for a home that offers a lot of space and privacy. The views cannot be beat! The 2 separate living areas are perfect for large families or a group of friends.

What makes this property unique

Tamarindo is not very big and is fun to explore by foot, bike or golf cart! Although a car is convenient (and recommended), it's not necessary to have a car here. The beach is a 5 minute walk away.
