Mermaid Lookout Beachfront Condo

This bright and spacious 2-bedroom, 1 bathroom will be your happy place! Spectacular views from balcony, living area, and master bedroom. Sleeps 6 comfortably. The Dawn Condos are located directly on the Seawall with 2 resort pools (one is heated) and hot tub. Master bedroom has very comfortable queen bed and large walk-in closet. The second bedroom is located in the loft area overlooks the living room and shares the ocean view. Close to shopping, restaurants, and tourist attractions. Complex is gated with additional pedestrian access from the Seawall with plenty of unassigned parking. Kitchen is fully equipped with Keurig coffee maker, toaster, cookware, and dinnerware.
The unit is located on the 3rd floor and there are no elevators. Parking pass is $40 for a 1-3-night stay or $50 for 4 or more nights per vehicle. The Dawn Condominiums was awarded Best Condominium Rental on the Island for 2023.

Booking same day of arrival may need to wait for the condo to be cleaned. Please do NOT lock the bottom door knob key when you leave.
You will need to provide documentation prior to booking for a service animal. An extra cleaning fee of $50 will be required at the time of booking.

Great place to stay. The place is very clean and cozy. The space was perfect for my family. The deck overlooking the beach is a great place to sit and listen to the waves coming in and to enjoy the view both in the morning and evening. The owner was responsive and supportive. The property the room is located on is a great place too if you want to also swim. There are showers in the pool area that you can use to wash the sand off you after coming in from the beach. There is a community barbecue available too if you want to grill something. Highly recommend it!

This is such a nice place! It was perfect for my family. Much more spacious than a hotel! Very clean. Beach is just across the street and in a great location close to restaurants, shopping, etc. We were pleasantly surprised when we opened the bedroom closet door. They have chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, beach towels, games, kids games, etc. etc. Kitchen had everything we needed. Nice TVs in living and bedroom. Homeowner is a great communicator. Highly recommend.

Beautiful place. It had all the extras we needed. Towels, toiletries, an umbrella, kitchen supplies, wash pods, games, books, and more. The location to the beach and Walmart was perfect. It is on the third floor and has a great view on the balcony (just be ready for the stairs). Kids loved the upstairs balcony bedroom. We had plenty of space for 5 people.

The view to the ocean was amazing and the condo had everything you could need! I loved it and had a great time staying there. 10/10 would recommend. Just be aware that there is a 40 parking fee in top of the rental cost.

We loved staying here!! The location was great and it wasn’t too crowded where we were. Walked right across the street to the beach and we loved the balcony beach view. Our condo had everything we needed and it was a cozy nice home away from home.

Our family came to Galveston as a Christmas present to the kids instead of doing a bunch of gifts. The Mermaid Lookout more than exceeded our expectations. The pictures do not do it justice. Great view, clean, spacious and a quick walk to the pool, hot tub, and beach. The condo was well stocked and had everything we could need for our stay. We would definitely stay at the Mermaid Lookout again! 10/10 would recommend.

Loved the mermaid lookout

We had a wonderful week at the Mermaid Lookout. Location is close to everything without feeling in the middle of it all. Easy access to the beach and the pools are great. Would love to stay here again. Our daughter loved the Mermaid theme and views from the Loft bedroom. Thank you for a wonderful vacation spot.

Overall Great Experience

The Condo was exactly as advertised and allowed my family to have a great weekend away. Walking distance to the beach and Wal-Mart across the street. Everything in the condo worked great, was clean and was comfortable. We would stay here again if we come back to Galveston.

Magnificent for my mermaids

This location was perfect for our family who love the ocean and shelling at the beach. The amenities were great and worked well, it was clean and mostly quiet. Beds were comfy and this space comfortably slept everyone. We would love to stay there again.

Why they chose this property

Galveston is great for family vacations and getaways with all of the year round events. After looking at other beachfront complexes, The Dawn had the best amenities and condo floors plans. The grounds are very well maintained and the pools are great.
