Gîte de Forge Basse La Chapelle Montbrandeix

The gîte de Forge Basse, located on a magnificent 10 hectare site facing a beautiful lake (1 hectare), opens its doors to you and welcomes you in its natural setting, located in the heart of the Périgord natural park- Limousin. Idyllic place for lovers of nature and animals (Izio the keeper of the Estate, Tic and Tac our two Mangalitza pigs and our farmyard made up of different varieties of hens as well as our Indian runner ducks).
In a friendly atmosphere, of exchanges and sharing, we will be happy to show you around our permaculture farm.
Theme evening organized during the summer (vegetarian / vegan meal, biodynamic wine tasting, free evening exchange on the fundamentals of permaculture ...). The dishes tasted during these evenings will be of organic origin.
Private access for fishermen without supplement all year round. Possibility of loan of equipment and initiation if necessary. Systematic release of caught fish.
The gîte includes:
Ground floor: living room (convertible sofa) with fully equipped open kitchen.
Upstairs: one bedroom (200 x 160 bed) with view of the pond, bathroom (double bath).
Dry toilet.
For young children: supply on request: cot, baby bath, paddling pool.
Garden furniture, barbecue,
Accepted animals.
Services: Sheets provided. Internet connection, TV.
Organic welcome pack (cleaning and hygiene products). For the respect of the site, we ask you not to use others.
Possibility to book organic breakfast (5 € gourmet formula or 8 € wellness formula). Exceptionally meals on request.
Other service: cleaning (with supplement).
Supplies: Fresh products from the estate's organic farm (vegetables).
