This 1400-Sq Ft house on Cross Lake is the perfect getaway! Easy access from the Twin Cities - only an hour north on I-35.
Cross Lake is around a 1000-acre lake with good water quality and beautiful nature. Great for fishing, boating, kayaking, whatever water activities you like.
The house is on two levels, one bedroom and one bathroom on each floor. Living room has a sofa bed that can be used as additional sleeping arrangement.
Our Floe dock is in the water from Memorial Day through September and is very convenient for parking your boat or jet skis.
Chengwatana State Forest (29,041 acres) is about 10 minutes from the house and has trails for x-country skiing, horseback riding, ATV's, and hunting.
Plenty to do, no matter what the season is!

There are no TV's at the house, but there is a wireless internet for surfing and streaming.

Beautiful lake views!

We stayed for a week in the early fall and the lake views, sunsets, and fall colors were all stunning! Our goal was a relaxing getaway, and this house was just what we needed. Unlike some places we have stayed, the house looks just like the photos. Plus, it was nice and clean, had a well equipped kitchen, and was private even though neighboring houses are close by.

Perfect little getaway

This property was exactly what we needed. I only wish we could’ve stayed longer and tried our luck fishing the lake. Two of us stayed for 2 nights. It was nice to each have our own bedroom and bathroom, in fact, we each had our own level in the house! The deck overlooking the lake is situated perfectly in that we never saw or heard any neighbors. The wireless speaker was a nice touch for relaxing, hanging out and listening to tunes. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful lakeside cabin

We were thrilled when we drove in and stayed in this spectacular cabin. The views are incredible and the cabin was spotless. They have lovely decor appropriate for the site. The beds are fantastic and they have thought of all our needs. When I had questions, the owner was immediate in their response. It was a terrific find and if we visit again I would choose it again.

Beautiful lake house!

This place has NO TV!!! And you won’t miss it one bit, LOL. Perfect fit for our family of 5. Beautiful location on the lake with a private feel. The property has a private dock for fishing and swimming and there is a paddle board, kayak, tubes and metal row boat to use. Bring your own life jacket for kids and if there is more than 2 adults. There wasn’t anything we didn’t love about the property.

Beautiful Property

This was a beautiful property and we really enjoyed our stay. Very clean and overall extremely welcoming. Host was also very responsive and friendly. The only drawback for us was all of the steps both inside and out, for young children. We will definitely be booking again once our kids are a little older.

Feeling settled

We were homeless to be straight forward for about a month before we arrived here. This place felt like home to us. Very comfortable. Owner responded very quickly and was so kind and generous to us. Enjoyed watching the lake. Spacious and clean.

This property was great for the group of girls I was with. Enough space to be up stairs, down stairs or on the deck. The deck was great to sit and look out at the pretty view. Neighbors were also friendly! Recommend this place for anyone looking to get a way for a weekend!

View is amazing!

The view of the lake especially at sunset was absolutely stunning. The family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was exactly as pictured. Clean and very accommodating. Would highly recommend staying here.

Escape from the City

A peaceful place that allowed us to enjoy the heat of summer not too far from the city. All the amenities from home minus a few kitchen items made the stay easy. Comfortable beds and beautiful dolly decorated and updated. WiFi was slow but cell service was good. My boys even caught fish off the dock. We enjoyed every minute

My wife and I fell in love with this house the minute we first walked in. Because of our work schedules we don't get to spend as much time at the lake as we'd like. We'd like others to have the opportunity to enjoy this fabulous house when we're not there.
