We invite you to welcome you to our seaside cottage for your quiet vacation where you will enjoy relaxing. Our comfortable, bright house is located opposite Saint-Vaast-La-Hougue in a fishing village, 200m from a beach facing the Fort de la Hougue (Vauban tower classified as a UNESCO heritage site).
Near the village, and the cycle path.
The house is south facing with land and private parking.
It is very close to all the essential places to visit and shops.

Ground floor:
-equipped kitchen (oven, dishwasher, induction hob, microwave, hood)
-dining room with wood stove (possibility of operating in open fireplace) facing south with direct access to the terrace
-living room with 106 cm flat screen TV, wifi
-water room (walk-in shower, double sink, toilet)
- laundry room with washing machine, dryer, ironing board with iron

Upstairs:
-2 bedrooms with 140 × 190cm bed and wardrobe for business
- 1 bedroom with 90 × 190 cm bed
-1 games room (children's games available) with sofa and 106cm flat screen TV, DVD player
-1 bathroom (1 sink, bath, toilet)

Outside:
- terrace with garden furniture and sun loungers
-barbecue
- volleyball or badminton net (racket available)
- green space of 700m2
- private lesson

On request provision of a travel cot, high chair and changing table.

A very enjoyable stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed for our 2 week stay and the dog loved the yard. We saw roe deer in the field behind the back yard almost every day. A nice base to explore the region for sea-food and beach walks. The landing beaches start not too far away as well.

Location superb for us. On edge of village. So peaceful. Fields at back were great for a morning run with the dogs. The property itself is not dog secure. House had everything we needed. We would love to return. Thankyou Sandrine.

Well kept property, very quiet, accessible to D-Day sights.

Unfortunately, the owner's message with the key code was not received. Which I blame on the poor wifi reception in lodging prior to Quettehou. Fortunately, one of our cell phones was able to receive a signal and I called for this information. Would recommend a location map to assist in locating the cottage. The description was accurate, and the facilities were as listed on the VRBO site. Would recommend the rental to anyone who desires a quiet rural experience. But which provides decent access to the tourist sites in the area.

Die Küche und das Inventar lassen keine Wünsche offen. Es waren viele Spielsachen für die Kinder dabei. Zum Einkaufen gab es genug Möglichkeiten und es gab nicht nur einen Bäcker in der Nähe.Die Lage ist super, wenn man die Normandie im Bereich Cherbourg erkunden möchte.Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Wir haben Ende August eine Woche zu dritt hier verbracht und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Das Haus ist toll gelegen, unweit vom Meer und sehr ruhig- ideal für Erholungssuchende. Unser Hund hat vor allem den schönen Garten geliebt.Das Haus bietet ingesamt genügend Platz auf zwei Etagen. Erwähnenswert ist der praktische Aufenthaltsraum im Obergeschoss. Alles war sauber und ordentlich. Toller Kontakt zur Vermieterin, sie war wirklich sehr sehr freundlich und hat immer schnell auf unsere Fragen reagiert. Einziges kleines Manko: Es gibt zwar ein zweites Badezimmer im Obergeschoss, jedoch keine Möglichkeit zum Abdunkeln bzw. eine Jalousie am Schrägdachfenster zum Schließen, wenn man duscht.
