Great location!! City living with a country view. Enjoy the horse park view from the living room of this cozy, private 2 bed, 1 bath sleeps 4. Convenient to I-285 and downtown Decatur. Close to Emory, Fox Theater, Olympic park, Georgia Aquarium, the Ferris Wheel and everything Atlanta! Ponce City Market is great for shopping and dining and only minutes away. Stone Mountain Park is another Atlanta favorite and just a short drive east. Whether your vacationing, visiting family, attending events or just a break from the highway, the location is perfect for every reason to visit Atlanta. This cozy, private two bedroom home is close to everything! Private driveway with carport has plenty of space for more than one car. A small seating area is under the carport and a newly added deck added to the back of the house to enjoy all the views. Fully stocked kitchen has everything needed for preparing a meal or just reheating. Fresh towels, linens, hair dryer and some toiletries are provided. Paper towel and cleaning supplies are always available. There is a queen bed in first bedroom and a full size bed in the second bedroom. The living room has a a pull out sofa couch and a designated "dog couch". The "dog couch" is positioned for premium viewing. Watch the large tv with Roku channels, and other streaming. Pass thru room has futon type couch. The large back yard has a chain link fence 5 feet high. There is plenty of room for dogs to run. The treelined street is perfect for dog walking. Dog amenities make this better than pet friendly! The square footage of the home only allows 2 dogs and under 50lbs.
There are fees for additional pets. The horse park view from the living room is tremendous! Great established neighborhood! Enjoy your morning coffee with a pleasant view of the horse pasture and know you're just a short ride to the interstate and everything Atlanta offers! It's hard to describe the true pleasure and conveniences. Come stay and experience private city living with a country view.

My dog and I had a wonderful stay. The house was so clean and inviting. Bed was super comfortable and the fenced in backyard was perfect for traveling with my best friend. Terrific location right in Decatur, yet very peaceful. Hosts were super responsive to even my silly questions. Great value all around. I would definitely choose this property again!

Communication with the owners is fantastic. The home itself, centrally located in the Atlanta area. A short drive to the multiple locations we were there to visit. The house could not of been any better. We always travel with our pups, and they are welcomed there. Everything needed for us and the pups were provided. Huge yard for them to run, and a back deck for us to watch and enjoy coffee. If ever in the area again, this is the only place to stay.

We loved this quiet street, conveniently located off a busy highway in Decatur. The house has a beautiful view of scenic horse pastures from the large picture window in the living room and is a great place to enjoy morning coffee! The house and large yard are well kept and very neat and clean. The owners are very responsive to questions and provide clear instructions about anything check-in/out and house related. We enjoyed our stay and will be back if we can.

We spent a lovely Thanksgiving week in this wonderful, cozy home just minutes away from our Decatur family. Every morning, we looked out on a beautiful pasture filled with horses running, jumping, and frolicking in the crisp, fall air. The house had everything we needed to be comfortable. We highly recommend this for your stay in Decatur -- you're in town, but you have the peace and serenity of the country.

The house was nice and clean, everything was marked and very pet friendly. The kitchen was well stocked with all kinds of cooking pots and pans. House has a washer and dryer which we didn't use. But it was nice to have one. The back yard is fence for safety and privacy for you and your pet. They thought of everything. Wish we had stay longer that the weekend. The people in the neighborhood were so nice and friendly. I highly recommend staying here. It's such a nice place. The house is across from the Little Creek Farm. It's a wonderful place to stay and walk but close to everything.

Most pet-friendly stay in Atlanta!

We stayed here while visiting our family for Easter. The house is clean and well-appointed with a small kitchen and huge fenced yard. We brought our older dog and he felt right at home! Covered couches for dog naps were a huge perk. The owners are friendly and helpful and the location is perfect.

We love sharing our home since we've been able to work remotely. We work from our family home in North Georgia. We moved to Decatur six years ago because our jobs moved to Midtown/Buckhead area. The location is perfect access to city events, shows, shopping, restaurants, hospitals, universities and more. Venues holding special events like FIFA are near by. We love the conveniences of city living. We stay there between guests and take advantage of what Atlanta offers. We come to the city for concerts, parks, shopping, restaurants, work, appointments and maintenance to the house. It's a great place and close to everything!

Why they chose this property

We moved to this area for work and the conveniences of intown living. We were fortunate that we came upon this perfect little bungalow. It's a pleasure to be able to share it now. The location is perfect! The horse park view is unbeatable and your only minutes from everything Atlanta. Once you stay here you will see the beauty and conveniences that are so close by. This property is a private home with a large private back yard. Park in the driveway or under the carport. The neighborhood is settled and our neighbors are great (if you see them☺). The street is perfect for walking. The fully stocked kitchen has everything for a short or long stay. Two bedrooms provide comfy queen and full size beds. We visit between guests to attend shows, work and property maintenance. Shopping, restaurants and grocery are just around the corner. Location is perfect for visiting everything Atlanta or to take a break from the highway for a few days.

This is city life surrounded by nature and its beauty. It's the best of both worlds!! Our neighborhood is established and quiet. This is a classic 1954 2-bedroom home with a beautiful yard surrounded by trees. The living room looks out to a peaceful horse park. Enjoy the beauty of the pasture and know you're just short ride to everything Atlanta offers and super easy access to the interstate. Private parking in the driveway or under the carport. The private fenced back yard makes this house better than pet friendly. If you travel with your fur baby, you both will love it!
