Lovely Cabin

We stayed here with our family to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday. It is a lovely cabin - clean, fully stocked kitchen, bedding and bath. Beds were comfortable. We loved the hot tub. Check-in very easy and property manager responded quickly to questions. Would definitely stay again in this beautiful area.

Family Winter Week

This is a great place for a family to enjoy time together with space to spread out. Hot tub was a nice way to end a day of snowmobiling and skiing. Kitchen is well stocked. Area is magical!

Great Home Away from Home

We enjoyed our stay here! The hot tub was our favorite part as we hiked a lot and needed to relax our muscles. It was very clean and with a group of 6 people it worked really well... too many more people could’ve gotten too cramped with only 2 bathrooms and one fridge. The property management was so accommodating with our check in / check out process... thank you! All in all we would stay here again for sure!

This cabin was off the beaten path and very secluded but yet close t enough ti enjoy several days at YNP. Very clean and had everything we needed to make it our home away from home. Host was on top of check in/out procedures and timely in sending. Thank you for wonderful memories made.

We enjoyed our time! The only issues were cleanliness and a few missing kitchen needs. When we arrived, there was a moldy black banana peel by the downstairs fireplace and also a fake eyelash on one of the nightstand lamps. We still had a great time. Thanks!

Decent Cabin Near Yellowstone

We rented this cabin for our family trip. We had 15 people in the party. Size wise the cabin was great. Kitchen utensils had the bare minimum, so if you know you’ll need bigger bowls and good knives bring your own. We definitely made it work. It was nice to have laundry on site. For bigger parties bring your own towels or prepare to do laundry daily. The only thing we did not like was the parking situation. The details for parking were vague and we had a couple visits from the previous property owner who manages many other cabins in the area. He was quite disgusted that we had 3 vehicles parked by the cabin. So we moved 2 of 3 due to their safety codes. The overflow parking was full and parking is NOT well marked in the complex. It was just frustrating with finding over flow parking. The check in process was weird, we expected to meet a person and there wasn’t a person there. Also, we couldn’t get the code pad for the door to lock...so our cabin went unlocked the whole time and it was just fine. Tip to stern it’s about 30 minutes to the gate of West Yellowstone. The cabin met the needs of our family and it was clean. We would book this place again if we came back to the area.

Hi Erica! Thanks for taking the time to write a review. We have enough parking for more than one car at the property. Pines Lodge people are aware of it. A check in instructions email is sent to guests 2 weeks prior to arrival. Guests can coordinate check in with the caretaker if they are having issues but the email contains caretaker's contact info and lock codes for the door so they can check themselves in. The cabin doors can be locked. There is a knob on the inside that can be turned to lock or unlock the door. We encourage guests to reach out to us or the caretaker should there be issues that arise during their stay. We hope to see you again!

The cabin was lovely and very well kept. Parking was horrible. We did think the incredibly long list of things we could and could not do was a bit ridiculous. Also, there was hardly enough toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, and towels for a place that is supposed to sleep up to 14. Though we enjoyed ourselves, we will not be renting this spot again.
