About this property
Cozy, Private House With Hot Tub on 2 Acres
Casa de Burton is just minutes away from downtown Grass Valley and Nevada City. It is nestled on 2 acres and provides guests with a comfortable, private get-away.
This is a 700 sq foot house is a light and airy space with many windows and high ceilings to promote relaxation. It comes fully furnished with two bedrooms and a bonus loft area, which includes an extra bed. Take a dip in the hot tub while overlooking the property!
More information
Ski resorts are located an hour away, as is the beauty and majesty of Lake Tahoe.
**Community warning: thefts of catalytic converters are high all around California. The most common cars targeted are Toyota Prius's and Toyota Tundras. If you have either of these models, we highly recommend you park down by the garage (by our Prius).
Please bring your own firewood! There is also central heat-- but if you want the wood stove for heat or ambiance, grab some logs on your way!
In winter months we allow up to six guests because the loft allows for another sleeping space. In the summer months, we recommend only four guests due to the excessive heat in the loft. Each of the two I’m bedrooms has a portable air conditioner but the loft is unable to accommodate one.
SUMMER NOTE: the area has seen increase in temperatures during the summer months, and the living room can get very warm. The bedrooms have efficient, stand alone units but the open concept living room/kitchen are harder to cool. We do have misters out on the back deck, to make your stay more comfortable!
We require guests to sign a short-term lease contract that outlines the rules of the house. Before your stay, the contract will be sent via email and will require a signature. It is a basic contract that protects our house from misuse.
We are proud of our Superhost status and have been awarded it because we care about the experience of our guests. If you have any questions-- please message us. We are here for you!
