About this property

Pleasant Orleans cottage with quick access to ocean side & bay side beaches.

Old style cottage providing a comfortable space for fun times on Cape Cod. Located in East Orleans, quick access to Nauset Beach, downtown Orleans and Chatham, the Cape Cod RailTrail bike path, and Rock Harbor/Skaket Beach on the bay side. A 30 minute drive to P-Town for a 1/2 day (or day) adventure. There is an updated kitchen, new back deck with grill & a good size yard. It is a quiet neighborhood with right-of-way access to Little Pleasant Bay for kayaking or stand-up paddle boarding.

Air conditioning through out as well as Internet & Cable TV provided. Linens included.

The location was perfect for anyone going to the Cape Cod Institute. The hosts were responsive and accommodation was exactly as advertised.

Older cottage feel. Lovely option for my 5 yo, me, grandparent for the cape cod institute and fun. Appreciated being able to book for less than a full week. Great access to beaches w a short drive. Nauset farm market and barley wine are walkable during daylight (1mi). Appreciated kitchen, some essentials and a couple beach chairs. I didn’t bring my 2 yo and if I did might have had to put a few things up and ask to put the telescope in cellar or something. On site laundry also great. Functionally clean but not white glove clean for anyone who requires that. Hope to stay again!

We had a great time in Orleans. House was as described. The provisions left in the fridge were a welcome touch. Everything was close by. The a/c was great. We really loved relaxing and playing games on the deck. Thanks for a great week!

My sister, my daughter and I had the absolute best time. The house is close to both ocean and bay beaches, village of O’rleans with cute shopping and Farmers Market, close to 6 to take you to Eastham, Wellfleet and Province Town.We bought fresh fish and cooked at the house, washer and dryer a super bonus.House feels spacious, large bright rooms, neighbors not on top of you.On the down side furnishings are dated and uncomfortable. Overall would stay again

Setting the table foe dinner.
Relax after a beautiful day on the Cape!

Great location and greats hosts

The location is unbeatable if you love Nauset Beach. We have high expectations for our stays, which is why we rated the cleanliness 3/5. While the overall floor plan was very clean, the cabinets and shelves could use some extra attention. It’s clear that the house has had some great upgrades, and it’s just a few improvements away from being perfect! We will definitely be keeping an eye on this house for future trips.

East Orleans is awesome! We love Larry and Jia’s classic retro beach cottage. They were wonderful hosts and it reminded us of going back in time for a Cape Cod Classic vacation!

Great Stay

My family had such a great stay. The house was just as pictured in the listing. It was clean and comfortable. The deck and yard were great for spending some time outside. During our stay we accidentally locked ourselves out. Larry was great. He helped us get back in on no time. A hidden gem for sure.

Why they chose this property

Some aspects of the home have stayed as my Grandfather and Grandmother created, with lots of cosmetic updates. Located on a quiet road, there is a nice yard and nice neighbors.
