Very nice apartment on the ground floor in front of the swimming pool, with beautiful sea view

On the Corniche road, between Saint Jean de Luz and Hendaye, in a 12 hectare park of protected nature and facing the sea, this 49 m2 apartment is located in the heart of a set of pretty small Basque-style buildings , arranged next to the old residence of Mme de Trévise.
Located on the ground floor, in front of the 250 m2 swimming pool (open from May to September) with paddling pool for children, you can enjoy an exceptional view, a tennis court, a fitness trail, a children's playground, beach volleyball court ..
You will be close to the Cibourre sailing club, a diving club, numerous golf courses (Ilbarritz, Bassussary, Chiberta, Arcangues ..), the beaches of Saint Jean de Luz and Hendaye.
Residence recommended by children.
Spain is less than 5 km away and San Sebastian is 18 km away.

Perfect Holiday in a perfect apartment

The apartment has a terrace in the first row to the pool and also has a very nice view to the atlantic including perfect sunsets. It is very cosy and well equipped. Furthermore it is good to have two bathrooms. The atmosphere on the site is very relaxed and you will have perfect holidays, it is even possible to order baguettes and croissants for the breakfast. The contact to the owners was very good and easy. They were very polite and made the travelling very easy for us by providing more than was stated in the exposé and, furthermore we got a very nice welcome gift. Apart from this, the Basque Country with its nice towns and villages, its overwhelming beaches and also the nice countryside in the mountains is perfect for relaxing holidays.

A little cramped

The location was pleasant with the pool which was well maintained and the grounds to walk or exercise in. A 10-15 minute drive brought us to St Jean de Luz which is full of life, culture and shops. The apartment was advertised as suitable for up to 6 people, which we consider unrealistic. It is quite small and three of us needed all the space available. The kitchen area in particular is very cramped and lacks the means to cook anything other than simple meals - no oven or grill. The small bedroom containing two bunk beds would be fine for small children but not adults. A washing machine would have been more use than the dishwasher provided. We had to supply all our own bed linen and towels, and yet there was also a 50 Euro charge for cleaning. Overall, although the apartment was generally clean and pleasantly situated, we do not consider that it represents good value for money.

Très bel endroit au sein d'un parc de 12 Hectare proche d'Hendaye. L'appartement en rez de jardin permet de déjeuner/diner dehors avec vue sur la piscine et même la mer. De plus, l'appartement est plutôt joliment décoré et bien équipé. seul petit bémol, la seconde chambre est très très petite; il s'agit d'une cabine avec 2 lits superposés ce qui n'est pas écrit dans l'annonce mais qu'l est possible de remarquer sur les photos. Sinon, parfait!

Es war ein gelungener Urlaub. Wir waren zu viert, 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder. Die Wohnung war sehr schön,sehr sauber und alle waren sehr freundlich. Der Pool war großartig, auch wenn es schade war, dass dieser schon um 20h geschlossen hat. Die Umgebung unheimlich gepflegt und schön angelegt. Wir haben unsere Zeit sehr genossen. Vielen Dank.

viel wat tegen

Het appartement viel wat tegen. Het was klein voor een gezin met 3 puberkinderen. In 1 kamer staat een stapelbed, maar daar kan verder niets meer bij, zoals je koffer of tas. De andere slaapkamer was prima, maar ook wat klein. Verder was het gehorig. Als de bovenburen op hun balkon zaten hoorde je dat luid, maar ook als zij lopen in de kamer ('s ochtends vroeg) hoorde je dat duidelijk. De omschrijving op de website geeft niet een duidelijk beeld van de accommodatie. Het staat op een groot terrein met heel veel andere vakantie woningen/ appartementen. En het ligt wel dicht bij de zee, maar daar kan je de zee niet in. De omgeving is wel mooi, dichtbij Biarritz en San Sebastian. OOk Saint-Jean-de Luz is erg leuk

Nous avons passé de très belles vacances dans cet endroit à l'ambiance paisible et reposante. Le Domaine est magnifique et parfaitement entretenu. La piscine est superbe! L'appartement est très agréable, fonctionnel et très bien équipé. L'accueil de Hadjira, la communication avec les propriétaires, la gentillesse de tous, tout était parfait! Wunderschöne Anlage

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub in der geschmackvoll eingerichteten Wohnung mit Blick auf den Pool und das Meer. Gleich der Empfang durch Geneviève war unglaublich liebenswürdig und auch während unseres Aufenthaltes waren wir gut versorgt. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und ist sehr gut ausgestattet Das 2. Schlafzimmer ist recht klein, aber auch die beiden Sofas im Wohnzimmer bieten eine sehr bequeme Schlafalternative. Die Wohnung liegt in einer wunderschönen, sehr großen und gut gepflegten Parkanlage mit mehreren Gebäuden. Wir können die Wohnung nur empfehlen.

C’est la deuxième fois que nous séjournons dans cet appartement. Un grand merci à nos hôtes pour leur sympathie et la qualité de leur accueil.
