Welcome to the perfect beach location. Enjoy beautiful views and comfortable accommodations at a very affordable price. Timbercreek 18B is a lovely 3 bedroom/2 bath condominium with stainless appliances, granite countertops, wood floors and wonderful furnishings.
We book weekly Sun-Sun during the Summer season.
Every room is decorator perfect - with a delightful blend of upscale cottage decor and a few special antiques for beachy comfort. Enjoy the panoramic Marsh view from the great room and screened in porch. Expect to see heron, osprey, and dolphins!
We think you'll love our screened-in porch with casual seating, bistro table, and Pawley's Island hammock, or our great open air deck.

The bedrooms (king, queen and two twins) feature wonderful pillowtop mattresses, and luxurious bedding. The master is truly a haven with a private bath and sliding glass door to the deck for enjoying the marsh view.
TC 18B is centrally located. It is a five minute bike or golf cart ride to the beach - grocery - restaurants. The private Timbercreek pool is steps away from the front door.
Our rates include use of TWO golf carts. All linens and bath towels, fully equipped kitchen. For quiet nights enjoy a great selection of DVDs, CDs and board games.
Our golf carts are on a regular professional maintenance so you can enjoy worry free transport for your Island adventures.

Perfect place to relax

Loved the proximity to the waterway for crabbing and walking on the boardwalk. Hammock on the screened porch provided endless fun for the little ones and a perfect nap spot for the adults.

Timber creek 18B has great views

We had a lovely time; the house easily fit our group of five, three adults and two children. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware to make meal preparation go smoothly. We also had great weather!

Superb!

Loved staying at Timbercreek 18B! The condo was at the perfect location on the island and it was nice having a 6 person and a 4 person cart. Made hauling our beach stuff and all 5 of us much easier! We also purchased the guest membership to the Bald Head Island club which was amazing! Definitely want to visit again!

Love BHI

Timber creek is a great location -easy access to everything on the island. Community pool was well maintained and just enough shade for a July day. House was well appointed with just about anything we could need.

Great place minus noise

Great place to stay. Clean, nice golf carts. Only negative was noise created from 2nd floor unit. The upstairs family was not particularly loud, but the building lacks good sound proofing and therefore we could hear footsteps and creaking noises frequently.

Great stay on the island

Great place to stay. I only wish the listing mentioned that it was a B bottom unit. Some units in the island are side by side, and that's great for noise. A bottom unit gets lots of noise from neighbors above. Just normal noise, walking around, is quite loud. Great place to stay, hopefully the upstairs neighbors will sleep in so that you can too!

Great get away!

Highlight was spa package at Island Retreat Spa and girlfriend time! The unit is as described. The queen & twin bed rooms have soiled carpet which diminished the appearance, smell & cleanliness. Outdoor chair cushions should be stored inside. We had to use towels in chairs. The bar stools are not high enough to use at bar and worn out. Bedding was comfortable. Living room furniture was comfortable.

Dirtiest place I’ve stayed

This is by far one of the dirtiest experiences I have ever had with a rental. Besides the obvious fact that this place is in serious need of upgrades, the cleanliness was unacceptable. Upon arrival, as soon as we stepped foot through the door, there were two dead cockroaches on the floor. As we continued unpacking, each room became increasingly worse. The sheets, pillows and towels were pure filthy and with sand in the sheets. The carpets in the guest rooms were disgusting and if you looked under the beds to pull out additional bedding, you could tell that it hadn’t been cleaned in months (if even then). There are mold spots in the entryway and bathroom ceilings. The AC filter looks like it hasn’t been changed in a year. My three year old was playing on the ground in the living room and stood up and was covered in dog hair. His toy rolled under the couch and I went to get it and there was dog food that was swept under the couch, can’t imagine how long that has been there. The dishes in the cabinets are in terrible condition. The chairs for the beach are barely even functional. We couldn’t even stay in the one guest room because the overwhelming smell of wet dog was all over the comforter. It’s unfortunate because it’s a great location with a lot of potential. Hopefully things change for the next family that stays! We certainly won’t be back.

This is very disappointing to hear as this is the first negative review for our home. We touch base with our renters, before, during and after their stay and never heard of any issues while you were here. We are on the island full time 24/7 to assist with any issues and would have been happy to send someone to assist with these items. The home is on a monthly pest control program and the house comes equipped with stainless steel appliances, upgraded bathrooms, kitchen, and a brand new 6 passenger golf cart. The filters are changed frequently and the one in the house was dated July 25 2021, less than a month from your arrival. Our beds have COVID linens on them that are washed after each renter. We do have owner linens that are bagged and stored under the beds that are not for rental usage. If you needed additional bedding, again we would have been happy to supply if we had heard from you. We take pride in what we do and we strive to be on the best on the island. We wish we had the opportunity to make your stay better. Thanks, bald Head Island Services

Great location

Comfortable cottage with a beautiful view of the marsh. Centrally located to all activities . Great layout but you do have neighbors very close. With that said, the community is quiet and I will stay again.
