About this property

The gardens of the beak - A charming country cottage

In the hollow of the valley ganzeville three villages follow one another:
Daubeuf-Serville, Bec de Mortagne and Ganzeville.
It is there that we decided 10 years ago to restore a former rectory of the seventeenth century.
The ground floor awaits you overlooking a lawn and the Ganzeville Valley. The gardens of the beak are the product of the work of Brigitte and Christian that shaped them from communal wastelands.
10 years later, the gardens occupy almost all of 4000 m² with the exception of a left wilderness where birds nest ...
The cottage is fully equipped, new and very comfortable.
Located 10 minutes from Fécamp, 20 min from Etretat, 30 min 45 min from Le Havre and Rouen, discover the Pays de Caux in peace.

More than a pleasant stay

we were allowed to stay here for a week and a half. Everything is there, beautiful garden and lots of privacy, very nice beds. Owners very pleasant to deal with. Lovely quiet environment.

Extraordinarily beautiful gardens, delightful apartment

The pictures don't do justice to the gardens created by the owners, who also renovated the old stone building this comfortable and well-equipped apartment is located in. Spectacular. We would return in a flash.

Tranquille and charming

The property is in the lower part of the house and faces the beautiful gardens which look out across a wooded valley with the sound of running water. Everything is exactly as described in the listing, perfect for a family of four, and well equipped with everything you need. We enjoyed our mornings in the garden and evenings by the fire. We had a wonderful few days, visiting local towns of fecamp, etretat, honfleur and saint valery en caux. We didn't get to meet the owners as they were away themselves but they checked in to make sure we were settled.

Die Woche war sehr schön. Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt und es wurde alles gezeigt und erklärt. Die Wohnung ist mit sehr viel Liebe eingerichtet. Die Küche bietet alles was man braucht. Holz für den Kamin haben wir auch bekommen und konnten es richtig genießen.

Bei Brigitte und Christian fällt es sehr leicht, sich wohl zu fühlen. Dir geschmackvoll und praktisch eingerichtete Ferienwohnung mit zwei Schlafzimmern, zwei Bädern einer gemütlichen Sitzecke, der Feuerstelle, viel Literatur, TV und DVD, sowie einer perfekt eingerichteten Küche lassen keine Wünsche übrig. Und obwohl wir Ende August/ Anfang September nie über 20 Grad kamen und es täglich mindestens einmal regnete, war dennoch der Garten der absolute Höhepunkt. Diese wird von Brigitte und Christian mit viel Liebe gepflegt. Wir hatten einen außergewöhnlich schönen Aufenthalt in Bec-de-Mortagne. Vielen Dank.

Kleines Paradies

Wir waren eine Woche in dieser wundervollen Unterkunft. Die Wohnung ist gut aufgeteilt, sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, aber das absolute Highlight ist der Garten. Er ist riesengroß, wunderschön angelegt und es gibt viel zu entdecken. Zahlreiche Gartenmöbel sind auch vorhanden, so dass man dort gut verweilen kann. Wir haben die Eigentümerin nur kurz kennengelernt, da sie selbst im Urlaub war, aber sie war sehr sympathisch und trotzdem disponibel. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist unglaublich gut, so dass wir uns nur tausendmal bedanken können.

Un beau jardin avec de nombreuses possibilités de détente

Il n'y a pas de mots ni d'images pour décrire les authentiques jardins de bec. La réalité est bien meilleure que les descriptions. Toute la famille a aimé le jardin magnifique! Les propriétaires très sympathiques habitent un ancien presbytère avec un très grand jardin. Les échanges avec les propriétaires sont très agréables et instructifs. Ils nous ont donné plein d'informations sur les restaurants et des idées d'excursions (petits villages normands et aussi de belles plages). Merci beaucoup – nous avons passé un très bon moment dans vos jardins et avons également appris à bien connaître les paysages et les cultures de la Normandie. Cela signifiait qu’il n’y avait pas assez de temps pour le jardin ou les nombreuses excursions. Bien sûr, nous aimerions revenir à un moment donné.
