Sehr idyllisch und ruhig

Wir haben die Ruhe und die Abgeschiedenheit inmitten dieses wunderschönen Areals sehr genossen. Herr de Chanterac war auch anwesend, sehr angenehm und unaufdringlich, aber sehr hilfsbereit , wenn es Fragen gab. Die Möglichkeit des Heizens ist an kühleren Tagen in der Tat etwas verbesserungswürdig. Mit Elektroheizer und Kamin haben wir uns einigermaßen behelfen können. Aber ansonsten haben wir uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt.

Oase van rust op een toeristische plek

Met kinderen van 4 en 5 hebben we hier een heerlijke week doorgebracht. Het huisje is zeer bijzonder en rustig gelegen. Op warme dagen kun je het koel houden binnen en de tuin heeft veel plekjes waar je kunt relaxen in de schaduw. De trap naar de zee/stad was prima te doen met kinderen, ze hebben geen een keer geklaagd. Was meer een avontuur voor ze. Tip met kleine kinderen: Parc de Loisir, met gratis zwembad (laag water), springkussen en minigolf. Rustige plek, heel dichtbij. En café Le Bel Amie is een leuk plekje, niet zo toeristisch. Afsluitend: de eigenaar is zeer vriendelijk en attent. Dank voor de mooie tijd!

Fantastic location

We had a wonderful time at the Clos du mont. We really enjoyed our vacation in this old norman estate above Étretat. The garden is beautiful and invites you to rest and relax. When getting up early you are almost alone on the cliffs and have an incredible view at the Porte d'Aval.

An oasis of calm in one of the most popular places of Normandy

It is an exceptionally beautiful place. You can reach main attractions of Normandy, restaurants and shops within a few minutes walk, but at the former farm you can enjoy peace and nature. The house is fully equipped and very nice. Yes, there is no WiFi (but good mobile phone reception). And with a hectare of private space, the sound of wind and the changing light of sunset in the trees, we did not miss at all.

Entspannung pur

Das Haus ist idyllisch und ruhig gelegen. Der Vermieter ist außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit,alles hat prima geklappt,trotz dessen, dass wir nicht französisch sprechen. Wer ein uriges und einzigartiges Haus sucht, ist hier genau richtig, schlicht, aber sehr schön. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Vielen Dank

Sehr zu empfehlen, wenn Sie Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit suchen

Sehr schöne ruhige Lage in herrlicher Landschaft. Wunderschönes renoviertes altes Bauernhaus-voll augestattet. Bettwäsche, Handtücher waren nicht vorhanden, konnten aber problemlos nachgebucht werden. Professionnelle, sehr freundliche Betreuung im Voraus.

Un we formidable en haut des falaises

Ferme typique nichée dans un clos en haut des falaises, un lieu exceptionnel coupé du monde tout en étant à 10 min à pied du centre d'Etretat. Les hôtes nous ont accueilli avec le sourire et ont rendu notre séjour très agréable. Les enfants ont apprécié de pouvoir jouer à l'extérieur au sein de la propriété. Nous recommandons vivement cette adresse.

Toller Urlaub mit Nachwehen

Über die Lage des Objektes braucht man nicht schreiben: einfach ein Traum. Das Haus liegt direkt auf einer der Klippen von Étretat etwas im Hinterland. Das Haus ist umgeben von einem großen, wunderschönen wilden Garten. Frühstücken in der Sonne war Ende August kein Problem - wir hatten aber auch Glück mit dem Wetter. Das Haus selbst ist gemütlich eingerichtet und lässt nichts missen. Außer vielleicht die Möglichkeit, in kalten Nächten zu heizen. Eines ist uns aber leider wirklich negativ aufgefallen: es herrscht ein modriger Geruch im Haus. Diesen nimmt man allerdings schon kurz nach dem Betreten nicht mehr wahr. Als problematisch erwies sich der Geruch allerdings nach unserer Heimreise: alle Kleidungsstücke mussten wirklich mehrfach gewaschen werden, um den aufgenommenen Geruch wieder loszuwerden. Teilweise ist uns das bis heute nicht gelungen - unsere Handy, Tablet, Kindle riechen noch immer etwas modrig. Das ist wirklich schade, da uns der Urlaub dort wirklich sehr gefallen hat und wir selten so entspannt nach nur einer Woche Urlaub waren. Hier sollte der Vermieter unbedingt nachbessern. Wenn man bereit ist, sich mit den Nachwehen zu arrangieren, kann man dort uneingeschränkt Urlaub machen.

Lovely hideaway

We were four people staying there for the duration of a week and we enjoyed every moment of it. The house is nicely secluded on the cliff top and offers everything one can wish for in a holiday cottage. The concierge was very nice and accomodating, trying to direct us when the navigation system failed and kindly providing all necessary instructions. We would love to come back.

Schlechtes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Das Haus riecht muffig, besonders im Erdgeschoss, was auch durch regelmäßiges Lüften nicht zu beheben war. Die letzte Grundreinigung hat im besten Fall vor der Saison stattgefunden. Die Ausstattung in den Schlafzimmern ist spartanisch, kein Kleiderschrank, die Kommoden sind nur teilweise nutzbar, da mehrere Schubladen mit Sachen des Eigentümers belegt sind. Wir hatten Glück mit dem Wetter und haben sowohl die absolute Ruhe und Einsamkeit im idyllischen Garten als auch den kurzen Weg zu den fantastischen Klippen ausgiebig genossen.

Très beau séjour

La localisation du gîte est probablement le meilleur atout de cette location. Au sommet de la falaise amont, lovée au sein d'un petit bois, ce lieu est idéal pour profiter du site d'Etretat tout en préservant calme et détente. La maison est simple et fonctionnelle, idéale pour une famille de 4 personnes. L'extérieur de la maison est très agréable, immense, fleuri et bien sûr très calme. Les contacts avec le propriétaire (que nous n'avons pas rencontré) ont été agréables et ont permis de répondre à toutes nos questions. La conciergerie qui nous a accueillis a également été agréable et efficace. Très beau séjour!

Bon séjour au cœur de la nature

Nous avons passé dans l'ensemble une bonne semaine dans cette petite maison isolée. Le logement est correctement aménagé. Rien ne manque dans la cuisine. La deco est ancienne mais ce ń’est pas grave. En revanche, elle est très mal ventilée, et sent très fort l’humidité, une odeur présente partout même dans les placards, sur les couverts, etc. Nos vêtements mêmes lavés une fois rentrés chez nous ont gardé l’odeur. Il serait bon d’installer une ventilation mécanique car même en laissant les fenêtres ouvertes, cela ne suffit pas. Mise à part cela, l’emplacement est top. Lorsqu’il fait beau il est agréable de manger dehors... attention, le linge de bain et de lit n’est pas fourni (prévoir le supplément). Pas d’equipement Bébé non plus. (Sauf supplément)

Tolle Ferien an einem schönen Ort

Wir verlebten in Etretat einen sehr schönen erholsamen Urlaub.Das Haus in der hervorragender Lage hat alles was man braucht. Das Einzige was uns gefehlt hat, war eine fest installierte Dusche.(Es gab nur eine Badewanne mit Dusche) Weil wir aber 2 Wochen bestes Wetter hatten, war das aber nicht wirklich schlimm. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hat uns gut beraten.

Sehr schöner alter Hof in toller Lage - leider zu feucht und kalt bei schlechtem Wetter

Wir haben geplant, 14 Tage im Juni in Etretat auf diesem schön und ruhig gelegenen Hof aus dem 17. Jh. oberhalb der Klippen zu verbringen und dem Alltagsstress zu entfliehen. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Nach wenigen Minuten Fußweg konnten wir an manchen Tagen die grandiose Aussicht auf das Meer und die Klippen und Etretat genießen. Wanderungen entlang der Steilküste sind sehr imposant. Leider hat das Wetter nicht mitgespielt und so konnten wir die Aussicht und den wunderbaren großen Garten in diesem herrlichen Anwesen zum Entspannen nicht nutzen und genießen. Für schlechtes Wetter kann ja niemand etwas, aber da das Haus nicht beheizt wurde, war es feucht und kalt. Dass die Heizung im Sommer nicht angestellt ist, war uns im vorhinein per Vertrag klar. Wir haben aber nicht damit gerechnet, dass die Heizung wohl das ganze Jahr nicht gelaufen ist. Eine kleine Elektroheizung hat hier leider auch nicht zur Verbesserung beigetragen. Wir haben deshalb schweren Herzens unseren Aufenthalt nach neun Tagen abgebrochen. Um Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit zu finden, ist dieser Hof genau richtig. Der Vermieter sollte aber für eine ordentliche Beheizung des Hauses auch in kühleren Perioden des Jahres sorgen, um die Feuchtigkeit aus dem Haus zu bekommen. Dann wäre das Haus eine Top-Empfehlung. 5 Sterne für die Lage Nur 3 Sterne wegen der Feuchtigkeit und Kälte im Haus

Romantisches Anwesen in spektakulärer Lage

Das Haus liegt traumhaft schön direkt an den spektakulären Klippen von Etretat. Versteckt hinter Baumhecken liegt es dennoch ganz privat und zurückgezogen in einem riesigen, wildromantischen Garten voller Blumen und Obstbäumen. Hier kann man die Seele baumeln lassen und die Natur genießen! Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, vor allem auf dem großen Gasherd lässt es sich gut kochen. Der Vermieter und seine Verwalterin waren sehr freundlich, ansprechbar, zuverlässig und hilfsbereit, wir kommen gerne wieder. Hedwig

Gemütliches Haus in herrlicher Lage

Das Ferienhaus liegt herrlich ruhig in einem riesigen wunderschönen Garten. Wir haben das Haus sauber und mit allem nötigen ausgestattet, vorgefunden. Vom Anwesen aus erreicht man über einen Feldweg in ca. 5min einen Aussichtspunkt mit grandiosem Blick über Etretat und die Felsenklippen. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen.

Gemütliches Haus in herrlicher Lage

Wir waren zwei Wochen in diesem Haus und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist sauber gewesen und mit allem nötigen ausgestattet. Wir konnten auch gut unsere mitgebrachten Fahrräder unterbringen. Der Garten ist riesengroß und ursprünglich, abends schauen mal Rehe und Hasen vorbei, was besonders unsere Tochter freute. Natur und Idylle vom feinsten und herrlich erholsame Ruhe!! Über einen Feldweg gelangt man in 5 min zum Aussichtspunkt mit grandiosem Blick nach Etretat und zu den Felsen. Man kann dort abends wunderbare Sonnenuntergänge beobachten. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich. Er spricht sehr gut englisch, so dass die Kommunikation bestens klappt, auch wenn man Französisch nur sehr wenig spricht. Wir werden sehr gerne wiederkommen!!

Quiet and peaceful holiday

We are 6-people party from Japan and we enjoyed Etretat and old house in Normandie. We ware happy to stay such a historical house with large garden, it was seperated from noise of town. We spend calm and quiet holidays. Easy access to top of cliff and church, we can see wonderful view of cliff that was painted by old great artists like Claude Monet. Every facilities and equipment was maintained, Large and useful kitchen. We want to stay this house again. 日本から6人で宿泊しました。歴史があって広大な庭付きのこの家に滞在できて、とても良かったです。この家は丘の上にあり、街の喧騒から距離を置いているので、穏やかで静かな休日を過ごすことができました。有名な崖の上には簡単に行くことができますし、そこからはモネなどが絵に描いた有名なエトルタの崖の光景を見ることができます。設備等は十分に整備されていますし、大きくて使い勝手の良いキッチンもあります。次回もまたこの家に滞在したいです。

Idylle und Erholung pur

Wir waren im Juni 2014 in dem "kleinen Ferienhaus am Meer" und haben den Urlaub nur genossen. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Merci beaucoup! Das liebenswerte Häuschen ist nett renoviert, gemütlich eingerichtet und verfügt über alles, was man zu einem erholsamen Urlaub braucht; ein Haus mit Charme. Das Haus liegt in einem alten Anwesen ca. 200 m hinter der Kapelle auf den Klippen, geschützt druch einen baumbewachsenen kleinen Wall. In dem riesigen, wunderschönen und ursprünglichen Garten kann man Sonne und Ruhe genießen und richtig entspannen. Abends ist man in 5 Minuten zu Fuß an den Klippen und kann bei einem Glas Wein den Sonnenuntergang genießen. Bis in den Ort schafft man es bergab gut in 15 Minuten zu Fuß, der Rückweg ist allerdings eine kleine sportliche Herausforderung ;-). Die Wanderwege bieten atemberaubende Ausblicke auf Klippen und Meer. Etretat ist ein schöner überschaubarer Urlaubsort und lohnende Ausflugsziele in der Umgebung sind vorhanden.
