Walk to town that has a grocery/deli, snack bar, liquor store, library, the Casino Restaurant and Grill. Also, a short walk to Fire Island Seashore's Watch Hill Beach.
Catch the ferry from Patchogue. Docking for boaters and a local water taxi that will take you to other fantastic Fire Island towns for a day out.
