About this property

Nature and authenticity: Cosy apartment in a real Provencal farmhouse

400 m. from the center of St Rémy de Provence. 200m. a small set of shops (bakery, restaurants, florist, ect.) At 100m. the Medical Center (doctors, pharmacy).

You access it by a small dead end road, 50m. from the main avenue.

The apartment is an independent duplex, overlooking the swimming pool and at the bottom of the large garden of 1.500 m2, typically Provencal and rustic (fig, olive, laurel, lavender, thyme, mint, iris, ect ...). Everyone will find their space there.

Ideal for couples, if you like nature, calm, sportsmen wishing to combine rest and training.

INTERIOR: Renovated in early 2017, Everything is new. On the ground floor, the fitted kitchen which opens onto the terrace and the garden. Upstairs, cozy lounge with library, television, internet, wifi. The bathroom, with shower, has a dressing room and an independent WC.

Access by a wide staircase to the master bedroom, beautiful mezzanine on 1/2 floor and open to the living room.

The renovation was wanted in an alliance of raw materials: wood, stone, wrought iron. The furniture (created by local artisans), natural tones, bring a very Zen and relaxing atmosphere.

Brightness and large space with its magnificent beams !!

The whole is air conditioned.

A touch of the provencale countryside very close to town

Clean and chic house with pool, birdsong and traffic noise (though not in the house because it has great double-glazing). Yes, you can be in the town of St. Remy de Provence with a sense of the countryside at the same time. But it is a compromise you have to be prepared to enjoy, along with the shared pool. Genevieve, the owner, is a delightful and very helpful owner who only wants you to be comfortable and enjoy your time in the holiday home next to her house.

GOOD PROPERTY ,EXCEPT NOT VERY HONEST ABOUT STAIRS AND BEDROOM HEIGHT ,I AM IN MY 70S AND WOULDNT HAVE BOOKED THIS IF THE PICTURES HAD BEEN MORE ACCURATE ,COULDNT STAND UP IN THE BEDROOM AND STAIRCASE VERY AWKWARD. fELT UNSAFE. aLSO FELT VERY NEAR TO THE OWNERS NOT MUCH SEPARATION FROM THEIR PROPERTY

Location au calme mais attention si vous etes allergique aux chats ce n est pas pour vous car la propriétaire a 4 ou 5 chat qui vivent en liberté. Nous avons aussi constater qu il y avait des puces. A l intérieur rien a redire si ce n est une odeur tres forte d egout qui viens de la douche nous en avons parlé a la propriétaire mais qui apparemment a reponse a tout et ne se sent pas concerné par le problème. Pour le menage il faut tout partager avec la propriétaire qui habite sur les lieux ( aspirateur seaux pour laver parterre etc) table a repasser mais pas de fer a repasser enfin tres peu de communication avec la proprio. Bref pour le prix on peut trouver mieux

Je ne peux que recommander cette location !!! Une hôte très accueillante et toujours prête à rendre service à ces vacanciers. Une location de charme dans un espace de verdure à quelques mètres du centre de Saint Rémy de Provence. Countryside living in StnRemy

Very nicely renovated apartment that is part of older farm house. Easy walking distance to town and restaurants,patisserie and bakery. Nice countryside acreage with lovely unheated swimming pool refreshing on hot days. Genevieve was a delight and cheery host. Very accommodating and helpful. The apartment is well furnished and comfortable however the two staircases may be challenging for less mobile people. Also, anyone depending on wifi for internet service will find issues with slow connection and limited connectivity in the apartment- no service downstairs . Enjoyable stay in a centrally located part of Provence.

Fabulous apartment, great location, lovely host

This is a beautifully appointed flat on 3 floor that has all you need. The pool is fantastic and it seemed that we had it to ourselves for the whole 3 weeks. Genevieve is a genuinely lovely lady and she and her family very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, just 400 meters from the centre of St Remy, which is a great place with so much going on. Lots of bars and restaurants and the Wednesday market is a must visit. The area is very beautiful too, with the stunning Alpilles just to the south, well worth a cycle trip (electric bike from sun-e-bikes). Thank you so much for letting us use your house it was a marvellous holiday and we will be back.

A great place to stay

A lovely property stylishly decorated and furnished and immaculately clean. Outdoor space under a vine for shady eating and access to the super pool adjacent to the cottage. St.-Remy is gorgeous with loads of interesting sights and great restaurants. Genevieve the owner is a charming lady and very helpful and kind. A great place to stay in a quiet location in a beautiful, historic Provencal town.

Quiet, cosy and private, just a 10-minute walk from St Remy centre.

This recently restored cottage is perfect for couples looking to get away from it all. Genevieve, the owner, lives next door and made us feel right at home. There is lovely outside space for dinners, as well as a barbecue that we used a couple of times during our stay. You enter through the kitchen and, while it's quite small, it's perfect for two people, and includes an oven, electric hob and dishwasher. You then walk upstairs to the living room and bathroom (shower only). Both are good sizes. The final flight of stairs leads to the mezzanine level and the bedroom, which was very comfortable and I liked just using this level simply for sleeping in. The pool is shared with the owner, but we had it completely to ourselves during our stay. It is a good size and was always kept clean during our stay. Just a side note, if you're staying for a while, the washing machine offered is actually next door in Genevieve's place, but she was perfectly happy for us to use it. However, we didn't ever get round to doing any washing in the end. Everything else was perfect.

A peaceful location

We arrived in searing heat but soon cooled off in the sparkling pool! Genevieve was most helpful and friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the clean and well appointed, air-conditioned cottage. The area is quiet and peaceful yet close to all amenities.

We had a wonderful holiday. Our only difficulty was finding the property. It would be really helpful to have a sign with the number and street at the entrance of the lane, but apart from that it was wonderful and we would definitely book again.
