This real mountain log cabin is located just outside Pigeon Forge on 3 wooded lots for added privacy. Inside one level living makes access easy. An open floor plan with tall vaulted ceilings over the living room, shelter comfortable furnishings and LED TV. A stone / gas fireplace is perfect for snuggling up in front of your favorite movie! Two king bedrooms and two baths offer room for up to four guests to enjoy this Pigeon Forge cabin! The outside had a full length covered porch and the back had screened-in porch with a hot tub! We have a security camera and floodlights on the front porch for added security. Planning a getaway in this CHOCOLATE MOOSE is the best way to guaranty one 'sweet' vacation!

Didn’t use hot tube but the place was nice and clean I would have liked more privacy I felt the neighborhood could see me breathe if he wanted. In fairness the trees didn’t have their leaves yet so maybe it would have felt differently. Overall nice place

Enjoyed our stay the only downside was the cabin had a lot of furnishings and that made it very uncomfortable to move around in the kitchen areas. Master bedroom door would not stay shut or locked but, in the scheme of the things I did like the cabin The cabin was clean and the owner was prompt in letting us know what we needed.

Nice quite location

I'll start off with the good. The property had everything that was mentioned. Very nice quite location with plenty of space for 4 to 5 people, especially the living area. Everything did work. Blanket and bedding was clean. Now the bad, this is not a cabin for multiple cars. Driveway is single car wide. Beds were very uncomfortable. The cabin does appear to be in need of a deep clean as there are cob webs in places you typically don't clean. There are some clear items that need some minor repairs and some of the minor repairs that have been done I don't think we're done correctly. Overall the bad wouldn't prevent me from renting from this host again.

Lovely cabin, great decor, good Wifi. Everything we really needed. Only complaint would be that the cabin needed a good cleaning. Dust bunnies behind beds and the baseboards and light fixtures looked like they haven’t been dusted in quite some time.

The password wad not correct that we got from Vrbo. We finally got hold ot the host

Over all it was good. When we finally got in the cabin. The cabin was clean all but needing swept and dusted. We still enjoyed it and hope to go back. The host was very nice and got back in touch with us. He was on a mission trip and felt bad complaing about not being able to get inside of the cabin

This was a cute place but whoever is doing your cleaning isn’t cleaning accurately, bed clothes weren’t washed , dust everywhere , dirt on toilet (bottom) with Covid i expected better …I wouldn’t mind as much but cleaners definitely need changed that’s my only complaint they’re are doing a half way job not the owners fault but they need switched! The view and cabin was cute & nice!

The property was very much as advertised. Quiet, peaceful, cozy. Couldn't utilize the mini pool table however as the cues had no felt/leather tips on them and there were none available to attach myself. Also, hot tub is a bit tricky to turn off. Front Area needed to be swept and a few things wiped down but beyond that our stay was pleasant and was a good value.

Wonderful getaway!

Chocolate Moose was the perfect cabin for our getaway! The cabin is located within a short distance to all the fun in Pigeon Forge! Between the hot tub and the large jacuzzi tub, my wife was in heaven! This was the perfect place for rest and relaxation! It’s perfectly decorated and has very comfortable beds! We can’t wait to go back!

My wife and I have been married over 43 years. We went on our honeymoon to Gatlinburg! We have two grown children, and two grandchildren.
My wife is a Literacy Coach at an elementary school and I am a Regional Pastor. We lead mission teams to Guatemala as well.

Why they chose this property

Gatlinburg has long been a favorite vacationing place for us! I have been coming to Gatlinburg since I was a child, we honeymooned here, and came here often when we were raising our kids.

We had the opportunity to purchase this beautiful log cabin and our hope is that it will be a blessing to couples and families as they seek to renew their relationships, and enjoy some time away from the busyness of everyday life!

What makes this property unique

'Chocolate Moose' is a great place to enjoy some 'getaway time' as a couple, as friends or family. Whether you are relaxing in the jacuzzi tub, preparing a candle light dinner in the full kitchen, snuggling up in front of the fire place, or enjoying the very private hot tub on the covered deck, there are many amenities to enjoy!
The covered front deck also has a gas grill so you can grill some sizzling steaks rain or shine. The rocking chairs on the deck provide a nice view of the wooded hillside. It's a great place to talk, listen to nature, or read and pray.
After relaxing, there are plenty of activities nearby. The cabin is located just outside of Pigeon Forge with all its shopping, restaurants and entertainment.
