Discover in the heart of Pont-Aven, city of painters and Gauguin, the absolute charm of an old stone stable restored with taste. Private parking located inside the property. Located two minutes walk from the village center and the Aven river, near the beaches. Restaurants, shops and galleries within walking distance. This character house will seduce you. Terrace, closed and flowered courtyard, olive trees. This house is made up of a ground floor (large room of 50m² living room, dining room, kitchen) facing due south and opening onto the terrace through the bay windows. upstairs, 2 bedrooms, separate wc, bathroom. Product of character and exception, all comfort.

Lovely Place to Stay

We loved this place. It was very smart with everything we needed and a pretty garden as well. It's right in the town and near lovely riverside walks.

Stylish and very private gite in centre of Pont Aven

Beautiful gite with very stylish decor and very well equipped. Tranquil oasis. Very welcoming owners. We really enjoyed staying here, being able to walk into town, the supermarket and to the river. Pleasant drive to the beautiful beaches close by. Highly recommended

Great stay

Lovely little cottage, very well equipped, and attractive, interesting decor. The position in the delightful Pont Aven was excellent and we could walk everywhere from the cottage. The only reason for the less than 5* accuracy of listing recommendation was the outside space. The courtyard, sadly, was a disappointment - the attractive space in the listing was overgrown with weeds - we had to rip creepers up on the terrace to use the loungers and from the wall in order to find the switch for the outside light. Such a shame - otherwise the property was excellent

Bonjour, You had an excellent stay which we are delighted with despite this small inconvenience. The Virginia creeper, as well as our two olive trees, are pruned in spring and autumn. Indeed, the leaves of the Virginia creeper can overflow and hide the terrace light switch. This is why in the information provided we indicate where it is located, either under the kitchen window… The Virginia creeper brings charm to our home; consider deleting it??? Excellent value for money!

We've used Homeaway several times to book holiday rentals and this has to be one of the nicest we've stayed in. Although not cheap, it represents excellent value for the money. Florian has equipped the property to a very high standard and we had a truly wonderful stay. Booking was easy and Florian made sure we were met so that all our questions would be answered and kept in contact a couple of times during out stay to check all was going well which we appreciated. Pont Aven is a small, bustling town with lots of galleries, creperies and restaurants. In particular, the Cafe Noir (restaurant upstairs) is well worth a visit. One of the best meals we've ever eaten! Florian - we had a wonderful week and hope to return. Thank you for letting us use your lovely home.

Fantastic Location and Lovely Property

We had a wonderful week in Florien and Jim's property. Firstly the check in process was very well managed by their neighbour Maurice, who was a lovely gentleman and proved to be incredibly helpful and kind later in the week when our car battery died and he provided us with jump leads. Nothing was too much trouble for Maurice and the owners who went out of their way to help us at every turn. Everything that you need is provided in the kitchen (nice touch with some very eco-friendly cleaning products) and the open plan area downstairs is great for a family. The courtyard garden is charming and lovely to sit and have lunch/dinner. The added benefit of the separate utility/laundry room was so useful when returning from the beach to rinse out bathing suits and wet suits and the private parking area super convenient in a town where parking is at a premium. The property is perfectly positioned in Pont Aven, within walking distance of all the shops, galleries and restaurants - there's even an amazing wine shop right next door that also sells delicious baguettes and croissants (much better than the bakery in town). We loved all the local beaches (Rospico being our favourite) and the local area is stunning. With children we weren't able to venture to the more high end restaurants but we must make a special mention for Creperie Armelle, Ty Burger and Maison le Darz (most amazing kouign-amann ever). Definitely recommended!

Comme dans le conte Boucle d'Or et les Trois Ours : ni trop, ni trop peu, juste bien ! Une impression de chez soi dès qu'on a passé la porte, tout l'ensemble comme le moindre détail mettent dans un état de confort béat. Des canapés qui invitent à la lecture et au cinéma, nous ne nous sommes pas privés, d'autant que fin décembre les journées dévolues à la découverte et la randonnée restent courtes. Tranquillité absolue de jour comme de nuit, malgré une situation en plein coeur d'une petite ville bien animée. Le jour qui pénètre par les grandes baies vitrées, la vue joliment dégagée au-dessus de la cour fermée, et les jolis éclairages dès que la nuit est tombée. La cuisine très plaisante et pratique. La Petite Cour est l'endroit idéal pour rayonner dans le Finistère Sud, que nous souhaitions découvrir, Pont-Aven une petite ville surprenante de charme et de beauté. Son musée est très intéressant, pour qui aime l'art pictural. Merci à nos hôtes, et à Maurice pour son chaleureux accueil. Nous avons adoré.

Top! Das Haus liegt versteckt und man bekommt trotz der Lage mitten in Pont Aven von Verkehr und Touristen nichts mit. Das Haus ist mit Liebe und Geschmack eingerichtet, kein steriles Ferienhaus sonders sehr persönlich mit Bücher, Musik bestückt. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und bemüht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehlen es weiter.

Maison de charme et de grand confort : très très bien équipée, décorée avec beaucoup de goût et idéalement située (au calme dans Pont-Aven ; très belles plages à proximité). Idyllischer Rückzugsort im Herzen von Pont-Aven

Wunderschönes gepflegtes und gut ausgestattetes Haus und idyllischer Innenhof, der durch das große Tor und das Nachbarhaus gut von der Hauptstraße abgeschirmt ist. Von dort aus lässt sich fußläufig das Künstlerdorf Pont-Aven erkunden und Ausflüge in die Umgebung machen. Florian, der Vermieter, und Maurice, unser Ansprechpartner vor Ort, waren sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit.

Ferienhaus mit Stil und Charme

Bei herrlichem Wetter wundervolle Tage in Haus, Ort und Umgebung. Ausstattung lädt zum Genießer ein und lies für uns keine Wünsche offen. Die Küste und Wanderwege waren wunderschön. Auch mein Rennradfahrer kam auf seine Kosten. Ein rundum gelungener Urlaub.

Zentral und sehr charmant

Das Haus ist sehr persönlich und mit viel Charme eingerichtet. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die außergewöhnliche Küche mit der sehr umfangreichen Ausstattung. Die Lage des Hauses ist zentral, dabei aber ruhig, und alle Ge- schäfte sind fussläufig zu erreichen. Wir haben die Woche sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
