Charming house****, comfort, quiet, breathtaking view, heated pool

La Ravaloire is located in Anjou, halfway between Angers and Le Mans, and from which it benefits from its legendary sweetness. Land of forests and meadows, you will reach the heart of the property, by a long and winding alley lined with woods.
Independent cottage with charm, comfort and character, with a bedroom on the mezzanine, ideal for 2 people. Separate shower room, wc and kitchen. Library lounge and large fireplace. WIFI connection.

The owner's house is not far from the gîte. Each house has its independent access and its own garden and tranquility area. A 13 x 6 swimming pool with deckchairs / mattresses is available.

This cottage has a large and beautiful view of the countryside.

In the heart of the Loir Valley, between La Flèche (6km) and Durtal (6km), you will enjoy a region rich in sporting activities (equestrian centers, hikes on the GR35 which passes on our property, cycle tourism, tennis, canoeing -Kayak on the Loir, swimming and sailing on Lac de la Monnerie, golf courses of Montjoie and Baugé) and cultural (numerous castles, wine route, La Flèche zoo, Music festivals).

For athletes and fans of cars, the Le Mans 24h are held every year in June and the Le Mans Classic every 2 years in July.

Perfect Getaway

A delightful property, ideally situated for exploring the Loir valley. Spotlessly clean with beautiful gardens and pool. Noëlle And Henri were perfect hosts, together with Athos their chilled dog. We will be back next year.

A peaceful pleasure

A very quiet and comfortable property and location to unwind in. Usually the only sound is birdsong. Noelle and Henri are helpful, considerate and friendly hosts and Athos is possibly the friendliest dog in France. Overall a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Cosy cottage with great views, a warm welcome and a heated pool

We had a lovely week, warmly welcomed by Henri who was very accommodating towards our elderly Jaguar! The cottage is maintained to a high standard and the pool is always clean and inviting. We felt relaxed from the moment we arrived until Boris cut short our break by a day! So pleased we were able to make it back to Bazouges-sur-le-loir.

Perfect!

If you want time away from it all, in a tastefully decorated, spacious and comfortable classic French retreat, this is the place. Surrounded by trees and wildlife but close enough to the shops for your daily supplies, Henri and Noelle will leave you to relax in peace, enjoy the fabulous outdoor pool and soak up the ambience of this special spot. Many of their guests return again and again and we certainly will too.

Great views and a lovely pool

We had a lovely week and left feeling refreshed and relaxed. The view is amazing and the pool was great. The owners are friendly if you need them but leave you alone if you don't. Although you are 1 of 3 properties the positioning of them means you have privacy. NB Don't forget to pack a pool towel!

A Jewel on the Loir

We had a wonderful holiday at La Ravaloire. The hosts (Noëlle and Henri) made us feel so welcome - and their excellent English more than made up for our poor French! And a special mention to Athos, the friendliest dog ever. The area around Bazouges, and along the 'Le Loir' river valley is peaceful, not too busy - but with plenty to see and do. (It is worth mentioning that Le Loir is different to its more famous big sister the 'La Loire' river, which is about 35km south.) The property itself is charming, has been tastefully decorated and is set in the middle of woodland but with distant views over the valley to the southwest. We really enjoyed the swimming pool which is a good size - clean, warm with plenty of space around it for the comfortable sun loungers. In summary, if you are seeking a peaceful, relaxing break in a little romantic French hideaway - then La Ravaloire will not disappoint.

Wonderful stay at La Ravaloire

Thank you to Henri and Noelle for a wonderful stay. Thanks must also go to Athos the dog who was just a delight! The property is beautiful. The one bed house we stayed in is perfect for a couple. Tastefully furnished and very comfortable with incredible views! We loved the heated pool and the BBQ was just great. Thank you for your hospitality and for the great wine recommendation!

Fabulous!

We were so impressed with this property! Tranquil, peaceful, calm, relaxed - just what we needed. It's out of the way but still within walking distance of the town with its bakery, shop, bar and fantastic restaurant. The house is beautiful - clean and very well-appointed. Noelle and Henri were excellent hosts - helpful when we needed them but not intrusive. The pool is superb. All in all a magnificent place to unwind and relax. Brilliant!

Fabuleux! Nous avons été très impressionnés par cette propriété! Tranquille, paisible, calme et détendu - juste ce dont nous avions besoin. C'est à l'écart, mais toujours à distance de marche de la ville avec sa boulangerie, sa boutique, son bar et son fantastique restaurant. La maison est belle - propre et très bien aménagée. Noëlle et Henri étaient d'excellents hôtes - utiles quand nous en avions besoin mais pas envahissants. La piscine est superbe Dans l'ensemble, c'est un endroit magnifique pour se détendre et se relaxer. Brillant! Thank you so much for your nice words. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour au sein de votre belle et grande propriété. Nous cherchions un cadre champêtre, un très bon niveau d'équipement, la tranquillité. tous les critères étaient au rendez vous et nous en avons été enchantés. Au final, si j'avais à mettre une appréciation chiffrée, je mettrais : Accueil, conseil et communication : 5/5 aménagements intérieurs, décoration et équipements : 5/5 aménagement et équipements extérieurs et piscine : 5/5. Une location à recommander pour les séjours Farniente ou l'on souhaite vraiment déconnecter et profiter de la grande piscine chauffée.

Ce joli gîte de Noëlle et Henri est une excellente adresse pour une escapade à deux. Rénové avec un soin et un goût remarquables, il est absolument conforme aux photos. Zum Wohlfühlen!

Wir haben unsere 5 Tage in dem wunderschönen und perfekt ausgestatteten Haus (mit Pool) bei Noëlle und Henri sehr genossen. Alles war sehr gepflegt und sogar ein Regentag wäre hier entspannt mit Lesen oder Faulenzen zu verbringen. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet und wir haben viel im Loire-Tal mit unseren Rädern bzw. zu Fuß unternehmen können. Aber auch Angers oder andere Städte der Umgebung sind gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen. We hebben bijna een week lang mogen genieten van dit fantastische huisje met prachtig uitzicht en heerlijk zwembad. Alles was keurig en schoon ,de eigenaren waren zeer hartelijk en gastvrij!
