The House was just as pictured, with all of the amenities we could have needed. Kyle was a wonderful host, and super responsive. About 30 mins from Hershey, but a smooth ride through farm land. Wonderful vacation home, would highly recommend if traveling with pets. The neighborhood is lovely for walks.

We were so sorry to leave! Such a lovely home! My kids didn’t board once! About 40 mins to Hershey and a little over an hour to Gettysburg. Neighborhood was clean and friendly and the home is just as it looks in pictures! There’s a reason he books up fast! Kyle was an amazing host! Thank you for sharing your home, Kyle!

My husband and I booked this for a little getaway for our one year wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint! The house is so adorable and has so many fun aspects about it! It is decorated so cute for the fall season, it felt so homey to us! We especially loved the backyard, the hot tub and fire pit were great and we loved the complimentary s’mores kit that was provided! The house is about 30 minutes to the Hersheypark area and the drive is pretty easy to get there. The location of the house is great, it’s a very quiet and nice neighborhood, and the off street parking is directly in front of the house and easily accessible! I definitely would recommend this house to couples and smaller families!Kyle is an excellent host! He was available when we had a couple of questions about the house and even made himself available when we couldn’t get the fire pit working! We appreciated him stopping by to take a look at the fire pit and he got it up and working in no time so that we were able to enjoy it for the rest of our stay! We can’t wait to book this house again for future trips to Hershey!

Spring Break

My family and I stayed for a week for my daughter’s spring break. The house was perfect! We went into Hershey as well as Lancaster. The game table was definitely a family favorite at the house!

Excellent place to stay

We had an amazing experience at the Red Door Retreat. Everything was wonderful! The house was decorated beautifully, and the amenities were excellent! The popcorn machine, fine machine, smore’s kit, gas fire place, Infinity table, arcade game on second floor, IPad with all of the owner’s recommendations and instructions was so great!! We loved the backyard games too. Such a pretty oasis. The charging stations at the bedsides was convenient, the laundry amenities and no shortage of hygiene products (soap, toilet paper, paper towel, garbage bags, dish soap, and dishwasher pods was so helpful to us. Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay, and I highly recommend it. We will definitely stay here again when we return.

Retreat from the lax fields

The Red Door Retreat is a special property, with so much attention paid to the details of the decor, the amenities and the experience. We came into the area for a lacrosse tournament and truly appreciated the retreat away from the fields, and a space that allowed our entire family to enjoy our weekend away.

The Dream Getaway

Kyle is the perfect host and has thought of every single detail to make this the dream rental property. We’ve stayed at countless rentals and this is by far one of the best. Super cute house with a great fenced yard for our dog. It's close enough to Hershey to visit but far enough to not be in the traffic. The house is clean and has so many special touches. Its 100% a perfect choice for a family.

Marvelous property

My hubby, triplets and 2 pups had the best time staying in this incredible home! The decor was so fun and inviting! We loved the hot tub, fire pit, relaxing fenced in back yard and electronic game table. We also enjoyed simply strolling the area looking at the beautiful homes. So much to do inside the home, outside the home and in the surrounding area! We didn’t want to leave. ❤️

Looking For Reasons to Return

We loved our quick getaway to the Red Door Retreat. It’s obvious that Kyle takes real pride in his home. From all of the small touches to some of the bigger luxuries (that couch and hot tub😍)- everything was perfect for us. We literally decided to come to Lebanon just for the house. We looked all over the tri-state area for a house that met all of our needs and this place surpassed them. You should definitely book with confidence. I am hoping this won’t be our only visit.

Kyle is the host you would always hope for. His presentation online was EXACTLY as advertised. His attention to all the little details was extremely impressive. Exceeds Expectations

Kyle was an amazing host. The house was even better than expected. Linens, towels, washer & dryer, hygiene products, dishwasher tabs and cleaners easily accessible. Beautifully decorated home with perfect cute yard. We enjoyed playing games, going in the hot tub and having space to enjoy each other's company as a family when we weren't out and about on adventures. Within 30 minutes from Hershey and less than an hour from Lancaster & Gettysburg. Would highly recommend this place!

Solid times

I had a bachelor party here. The backyard is the draw and the real treat. Hot tub worked well, but nobody ended up in the pool. Firepit worked well, and hanging lights were nice. The curtains by the small nook by the backdoor let me avoid the sun and read. Good A/C coverage and plenty of fun things scattered throughout the house to have a giggle. I would say a lot of the things may skew younger, but my group of 30 year-olds found plenty to be entertained with during the downtime. The big weakness is the 1.5 bathrooms. With 5 men, it felt saturated. We managed to spread our showers out, but just be wary if you are putting two people per bed. The only other thing I'd say is the front entrance steps are very steep, with my clumsiness making me stumble sometimes. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and I believe the rest of my party did so.
