Quaint Cape Cod attached home nestled atop a hill near Speedwell Forge Lake

Welcome to The Homestead on Weber Road! A quaint little attached Cape Cod nestled atop a hill near Speedwell Forge Lake is perfect for the family, a girlfriend trip, or a couples only weekend trip to beautiful Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Rental is attached to the owner's home but has its own private driveway and entrances. The property is pet friendly, dogs only, (a flat $100 pet fee will be charged) and contains a large fenced in off-leash area for your furry traveling companions. Please let us know when booking if you are bringing a dog, so we can arrange for a more thorough cleaning of the rental after you leave. You can relax in a sunroom located at the back of the property overlooking a wooded backyard and large meadow beyond where you will frequently see deer, red fox, and a large variety of wild birds. Sunroom also contains a large, flat screen TV and wrap around sofa with a pull-out sofa bed (double). Cozy living room provides guests another flat screen TV and DVD. A well-equipped, recently renovated eat-in kitchen with a large kitchen table and island that makes everyone feel welcome. Master bedroom suite with a king bed is located off the kitchen on the first floor. Full bathroom adjacent to the master bedroom with all main floor doorways and bathroom being ADA compliant with a wheelchair ramp leading into the Sunroom/1st Floor area. Laundry Room is also on the first floor for ease of doing a quick load of wash. There are two bedrooms upstairs. One contains a queen bed and the other has a full daybed with a twin pull-out trundle which is perfect for kids or teens. Another full bathroom is located between the two upstairs bedrooms. Parking for up to six vehicles in driveway. House has free Wi-Fi and satellite TV in the Family Room, Master Bedroom and Sunroom; Smart TVs are in the upstairs bedrooms. Towels, Bed Linens, Toiletries (limited), Coffee, etc. are provided.

Close to Hershey Park, Lititz (Best Small Town in US), Manheim Auto Auction, Outlet Shopping, Lancaster Central Market, Quilt Shops, Farmers Markets, Middle Creek Wildlife Refuge, Wolf Sanctuary, Museums, and much, much more.

This place was absolutely beautiful! It was in a county setting, but just a short drive to Lititz and Ephrata PA, and just a 30 minute drive to Lancaster. House was fully stocked with everything you need!Great stay, would love to return someday!

The home was just as described and pictured. The hosts thought of everything, including leaving freshly baked Amish goodies for us! The grounds are beautiful with a tire swing and see-saw for the kids plus a fire pit. It was perfect for our extended family's stay. Highly recommend this property!

This beautiful property was excellent for my family of 5 adults, 1 child and 2 small dogs. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of cookware, dishes and utensils. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The very large off-leash dog area was wonderful!! There were even dog balls and toys in the area. There is a large side yard that our 4 year old utilized for running and kicking a soccer ball. The owners were extremely welcoming and left treats for us and our dogs. The property is very organized and accessible but secluded. We will definitely stay here again!!

One of the cleanest VRBOs we have stayed at. Loved the sun room. Well equipped with essentials. when we arrived we were greeted with some yummy Amish bakery goods. Lots of birds to watch, as well as chickens and roosters. Beautiful country. We will plan on staying here for our future trips to PA. The host and hostess were so friendly.

Top 3 VRBO experience. This beautifully maintained home offers maximum serenity and comfort nestled in the rolling foothills of Lancaster county. We immediately felt at home in this impeccably clean VRBO that offered comfy beds, a cozy family room w seating for all, and extremely well-furnished kitchen. We played lots of games around the dining room table. The home’s layout permitted the perfect gathering space between the open kitchen, dining and tv room while maximizing privacy w the master bedroom located on the first floor and 2 beds bath upstairs. The hosts have made the exterior equally enjoyable with outdoor games/ activities available in the spacious shaded backyard, complete w a patio and landscaping. Our dogs had a secure and private unleashed area to roam, if desired. Lititz is a quick 10 minute drive away. We enjoyed Whiff Roastery, Tomato Pie Cafe, Julius Sturgis, the cheese shop and other local retail shops. Would have explored more restaurants, had time allowed. We also explored Marietta, the covered bridges and Amish life in Bird in Hand. Gettysburg was a quick 80 minutes away. With so many activities to keep us busy and a relaxing retreat to return to, we highly recommend this home away from home.

We had an amazing stay at this property! The home was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed. Every room was thoughtfully stocked, making our stay comfortable and stress-free. We had such a great time with our toddler at this rental! The property and living spaces were beautiful, exactly as pictured and described. It was a great place to take our 1.5 year old...she loved all of the space and was very safe no matter where she went, plus it was an easy distance to travel to and from to do things for an afternoon. Super comfortable for parents of little kids to get a change of pace..thank you for a great escape!

Beautiful home! Out in the country which was exactly what we were looking for, we stayed for my son’s wedding and it was comfortable with LOTS of amenities. We got to see the chickens on the property and a cute orange kitty! We will definitely stay again if we are that area.
