Bright and welcoming home with modern conveniences, technology, and equipped for fun and relaxation, all in a classic Cape style on the (more convenient) ocean side of the main road.
Amenities
Relax on either of two outdoor spaces, a patio with a fire pit and a deck with a bubbling hot tub and outdoor dining. Get your competition on in the separate Game Room with ping-pong, pool, and a big screen for movies. Boil up lobsters in the open kitchen with a rare (for the Cape) gas stove, or enjoy grilling outdoors. You’ll have plenty of cookware, drip and French press coffee makers, and a microwave.
Two TVs are internet connected with Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and more. Alexa provides bluetooth music indoors or outdoors, and gives you an intercom between the kitchen and the Game Room. If you run into an unfortunate cloudy day, you’ll still have plenty of ways to stay entertained!
Spacious Sleeping
There are queen beds in all three bedrooms. The large upstairs bedrooms each also have two twin beds and large closets. The upstairs bedrooms and the main open living space have new mini-splits for custom air conditioning, while the game room and downstairs bedroom have window a/c units. Full baths on each floor make every room easy, but consider taking morning and after-beach showers in the fully enclosed, hot/cold outdoor shower off the deck… it’s how they shower in heaven.
Note that linens must be arranged for separately. Please bring your own or ask for a recommendation for a linen rental service. Hypoallergenic pillows and bedding are provided.
More on the Location
The town center is only 2 miles away, or a little farther along the less busy, often quicker back roads. Wake up with coffee and pastries from the nearby French bakery PB Boulangerie. We’re a ten minute bike ride from the start of the 22-mile Cape Cod Rail Trail. Cross to the other side of Route 6 and you’re just a few minutes from the Pilgrim Spring/Indian Point Bay Beaches. Reach Duck Pond on foot in about 20 minutes, drive to Great Pond just five minutes away. And take your pick of ocean beaches (Cahoon Hollow and Le Count Hollow are closest). The Wellfleet Drive-In is just a bit down the road and it's always fun settling the family in for a mobile double feature.
Pets
If you’re a dog person, you've probably noticed how many homes disappear when you check the “pets” box in your search. We are open to discussing bringing your dog (dogs only, sorry) for an additional fee. Your pup needs specific permission, and insurance bars certain breeds, but *well behaved* dogs deserve a chance to enjoy Wellfleet with their owners (there's an 8am dog party at the Newcomb Hollow ocean beach most mornings). (Your dog must have a Frontline treatment within two weeks of arrival.)
Electric Vehicles
The house is equipped with a Level 2 charger for you to plug into for a nominal fee (J1772 - if you need an adapter for a Tesla, we’ve got in waiting for you).
Food in Wellfleet
There is amazing food in Wellfleet. Grab a bite to eat at one of the local spots, like Wicked Oyster, Winslow’s Tavern in town, PB Boulangerie for classic French cuisine and its delicious bakery, The Bookstore Cafe for a wonderful evening out (sit outside if you can), Mac’s Seafood for local raw bar or cooked seafood, and Ceraldi for a fancy but informal date night with a 7-course, local-focused menu and wonderful staff. No frills seafood in a festive atmosphere awaits at Moby Dick’s, while Bob’s Sub ‘n’ Cone offers the best lobster roll in the area (people will naturally debate where the best lobster roll is -- sample them all and let us know if you disagree). The kids love Mac’s at the Harbor or PJ’s on Rt. 6. You’ll find yourself more than once eating Emack & Bolio ice cream at A Nice Cream Stop. And that’s just in Wellfleet. A food guide awaits when you arrive.
For home cooks, pick up live lobsters at Mac’s or Hatch’s Fish Market & Produce. Try Hatch’s for scallops, smoked fish, fish from local waters and beyond, incredible produce and sweet corn the likes of which you can’t find anywhere but the Cape.

Note: There are security cameras overlooking the driveway. Ask for our “Welcome Guide” during the booking process for details about everything in the home.
