A perfect house with beautiful views from every room! Impressive open concept design with high ceilings, lots of glass and windows letting in an abundance of natural light. Meticulous detail in every room. Super clean and neat. Lovely firepit overlooking the lake for an enjoyable fire on a cool night. The games room is a special spot...pool table, air hockey, darts, board games, golf video game, large TV and comfortable couch. An absolutely fabulous place that made it hard for us to leave! We knew we'd be booking again for next year within an hour of arriving.Loved it!
Beautiful setting with breathtaking views. The house is luxurious, spacious, and well equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed our weekend and would love to stay again.
Todd was there to meet us when we arrived. House is lovely, well appointed, and included pool towels. WiFi was great. Kitchen knives need to be sharper, but we understand that is a challenge. Also wished for marshmallow-roasting forks and plastic containers for leftovers, but other than that we had most everything we needed. Great family stay.
Great location with lots of space! Kitchen was fully stocked and easy to enjoy with a large group. Very functional property indoor and outside. Lots of outdoor chairs and loungers. Beautiful property - we would rebook!
Our family always takes a summer vacation together. Normally the beach in the states. As July is our normal vacation time, we decided to come north. Very nice house, well laid out, clean and supplied. Swimming pool was great for the kids, but nothing to enjoy on the shore, other than the view, which was wonderful.
The house is big and impressive! Loved having bathrooms in the bedrooms. The view from everywhere in the house was spectacular! Lots of spiders and webs in the house so it could have been cleaner but understand that some of that comes with living on the water. Pool was very clean and great temperature. Matt and Brian were quick to respond to our questions and were easy to deal with. Great holiday!!
We were very impressed with this property and overall stay! This home is just as pictured in the listing. The area is very relaxing and picturesque! We just returned having stayed over Dec 23-26th, and it was a beautiful holiday experience! This is our first time celebrating Christmas away from home, and we were pleased to find the majority of the amenities of home provided for us, including a Christmas tree with lights!! The place was very spacious and easily accommodated our family of 7 adults and 4 kids. Wade was very responsive to our messages and made the check in and out process very seamless! We had a great time and would not hesitate to stay here again! Thank you Gemma & Wade!
The property was exactly as advertised. There were two families of us that stayed together for a total of 11 people, with 4 of those being kids. There was plenty of room for everyone. The kids really enjoyed the game room and pool area. We took some yard games to play and the backyard was a great area to play. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. We cooked 5 out of the 7 nights we were there and enjoyed eating on the outside porch.
The management was really easy to work with. I would highly recommend this house if you just want to get away and relax. The view of Lake Erie was beautiful at all times of the day.
The place was perfect! We traveled with grandparents, two couples with children and a single adult and felt we had plenty on room to spread out. I didn’t think the pictures did it justice! The views of the lake were breathtaking, especially at sunrise. The yard was big and flat enough for the kids to play soccer. There was a game room in the heated garage with a large tv, couch, pool table, air hockey table and a few other games! We visited in early October and the heated pool was great for the kids. The bunk room and room with two singles beds were downstairs and the remaining three bedrooms were upstairs. Each bedroom had its own bathroom which is nice with a large group of people. We drove to Niagara Falls for a day and it was an easy hour drive. I would highly recommend!
We are a group of 12 - 14 middle-aged ladies that go away annually somewhere different each time. This is by far the favorite of the majority of us so far, it was huge and gorgeous each bedroom nicer than the next and each with its own en suite bathroom. The only con I'd say is it's SO big and the main living room is sort of in the center so noise doesn't absorb well, for example if someone shuts a door in the house everyone hears it.
Super comfy beds, and warm duvets, we didn't get a chance to have a fire and hang outside as the weather wasn't cooperating with us, but never know we may be back and give it another try.
The added-on games room was a great idea, I got a number of high scores on the vintage golf video game. Played some air hockey and pool as well.
Cell phone service is not the greatest but that's the area it kept thinking we were in the States at times. Should be disconnecting in a place like that anyhow.
A perfect getaway in the perfect setting for a long overdue family get away. There was something for everyone and the Property Manager was very accommodating. A little pricey, but after many obstacles and a pandemic, family time, the laughter, the love combined with the layout of the property and environment was Priceless.
Such a beautiful place for our family and friends vacation. The kids had a great time in the heated pool and walking down the steps to the lake. The adults loved the hot tub and games room.
Great views from the cottage.
Communication with the owner was quick and easy.
The kids miss it already.
Highly recommended.
The distance is decent for an out of city drive out. The house is situated on enough property to not worry about having your fun, staying up late to use the hot tub. Definitely great space for a big group. Small things here and there to be filled up over time more napkins, kitchen towels and toilet paper. But overall a great experience and pictures measure up to the expectations. Would love to rent in the summer!
This house was perfect! Plenty of space for everyone! The pool was perfect for cooling off in during the hot day and the hot tub was excellent for relaxing in at night. This is a luxury house with all the amenities of a downtown home but with the privacy of a farm house. Would definitely recommend! I just wish I brought my golf clubs... Always next time!
