Carolina Winds is a fabulous oceanfront 3-bedroom, 2 bath condo that comfortably sleeps 8. It offers a direct oceanfront view and you'll enjoy surf-watching from your private balcony. The bedrooms include a king bed in the master bedroom on the oceanfront, a queen bed in the second bedroom, two twins in the third bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa in the living area. The décor is light and airy, with vibrant colors and furnishings sure to please the ocean-lover!
The Carolina Winds is a full service resort, so even though you'll want to prepare meals in your fully stocked and equipped kitchen, make sure to leave some room in your schedule to visit the onsite cafe.
In the mornings, grab your beach bag, sunglasses and sunscreen and head off for a day of sand and sun. Our public beaches are staffed with lifeguard protection for you and your family, so relax! Beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards are available for rent on a daily or weekly basis.

Location is Perfect!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Carolina Winds. The location was beautiful and perfectly close to all the great things of Myrtle Beach. This Condo was good, could use some updates but overall the Condo complex was good and had great amenities. Loved how close to the beach it was and the pools were always clean and big and beautiful.

Lovely condo

So easy to get to pool and beach. This is our second year going, and we will be back. Indoor pool is perfect for rainy days with kids. And outdoor pool is heated, which was perfect for slightly chilly spring break.

Clean and quiet

We enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood is residential which we enjoyed. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. Our only complaint is the check in/out at a separate location (which of course we knew going in). It’s the only place we’ve ever had to do that.

Family Getaway

We have stayed in this unit before and it suited our needs very well! The check in/check out process is a bit of a pain, especially when you're heading in the opposite direction to pick up and drop off the keys. A keypad lock would be a great investment. Otherwise this unit is perfect!

Condo is in need of updates. Found a roach in the sleeper sofa.

We had to pay extra for sheets and towels. We paid over $400 a night, not including the $40 a bed for bedding and towels. The first thing that we were met with, was a roach. Not a good start. Location was excellent along with the pool options.

If there was a problem,we would have appreciated a call to assist you. Our policy since Covid clearly states that you may bring your own sheets and towels or rent those. Your choice was to rent. Good location and view but everything else is too old and dirty, wifi is too slow, carpet and bathroom disgusting. Also need spend about 20-30 minutes to get the keys. After 15 hours drive

Great location for a budgeting family

This is our second time staying at Carolina Winds, first time in this unit. This unit looks exactly like the pics, no surprises. We were pleased that this unit is on the second floor which made it easy to come and go through the lobby and using elevator. It was very close to the pool. This is an end unit facing the beach. The view was amazing, the unit was clean. The washer and dryer worked well which is important!! The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware. We love the value you get with this location! The indoor and outdoor pool plus hot tubs are a necessary amenity with kids. There was not a lazy river on sight but might be at the other building. This location is much more affordable than being further down the strip and has everything you’ll need for a great vacation. The beach is just a few steps away. Communication with the rental company was stellar! They were very helpful and informative from booking, to our actual stay, and even after checkout! We are considering booking again next year.

Needs a lot of TLC

The location of this condo in the complex couldn't be better. Fantastic view of the ocean & palm trees. Close to the elevator & the pool is right as you get off the elevator. The beds were comfortable, however the rest of my review is pretty terrible. Unfortunately, to say this condo is old doesn't due the condition justice. It's in terrible shape. Several items were broken within the condo i.e. chair, lamp, etc. The floors are horrific, they need to be totally replaced. It's nasty stained and frayed carpet. Neither of the showers drain so water and sand build up while showering. Rusted and peeling washer & dryer! Rusted & dented appliances and cookware. Slow flushing toilets that need the handle held down each time. The walls all need repaired and repainted. The entire feel of the condo is that it's old, in disrepair, and disgusting. It was also very dirty when we checked-in, we had to clean it ourselves as the cleaning team didn't plan to come until the next day to resolve it. It's incredibly difficult to get acclimated and try not to feel gross. Huge potential for them to come in a clean it up and then it would be amazing.

Do not judge by the listing!

This property has been totally remodeled! Does not look like the pictures shown of the listing. The only true picture is the view. No carpet, all new furnishings except dining room. Kitchen updated. Owners need to update the pictures on VRBO. Kudos for the new flooring real upgrade from carpet!

ocean view condo

Condo we stayed in had excellent location and view of the ocean Very close to the beach. Check in was kind of PITA , we had to find management office to pick up keys. I wish i could do this at the hotel after 16hr drive. Apartment has nice layout but everything in it is very old and outdated. Toilets almost do not flush and very slow drains in bathtubs.

This was a nice room I wouldn’t say outstanding. Definitely a little dated needed a little bit more updated beach touch but still good. The view was good but the palm trees kind of block half of what you can see so would be nice if they cut them down and maybe we planted smaller plant palm trees.

INCREDIBLE VIEW!

We had to book this place at the last moment due to an unexpected issue with another company cancelling our room. The management was beyond nice and answered our questions quickly - super friendly. The location of this condo is facing the beach - it's wonderful! The view is everything!! The place was big enough for us but at the time we stayed (April 2019) it was very dated and needed more lighting, security over the windows in the bedrooms, more plates and glasses, water pressure, bathroom upgrades etc. I sent a suggestion list to the new owners which I'm betting has been addressed by now. That being said, this place was perfect for us! The one thing I hope they add is more seating to the deck since all of us wanted to sit and eat and chill on the deck to watch the waves and there wasn't enough seating. I would stay here again, especially for the price we paid. It was perfect for our budget and needs. The location is very near everything as well. Keeping this place in our "places we love" for next time! HIGHLY recommend for the good price and the view if you're someone that wants to relax to the ocean view!
