"La Grange du Faing Janel" is a rental located in Tendon, 20 minutes from Gerardmer. This old barn has been completely renovated, nestled in nature, a few steps from the first hiking, 50 meters from an organic farm with many animals.

On the ground floor: large living room / lounge / kitchen with fireplace, fully equipped kitchen area (piano cooking 5 fires, oven, refrigerator, freezer ...) with bay window giving access to the terrace; 1 room with 1 bed 160x200 cm, wardrobe / wardrobe; accessible bathroom PMR (person with reduced mobility) with shower, washbasin, heated towel rail; WC PMR; second bathroom with Italian shower and heating; washing machine in the hallway.
Upstairs: 1 bedroom with 1 bed 140x190 cm, sink and chest of drawers and cot; 2 bedrooms with 2 beds of 90 cm x 200 cm and 2 other bunk beds, washbasin and storage; communicating mezzanine with the last room and 1 bed of 90 cm x 190 cm; Independent toilets.

Hiking base camp

The vacation home is ideally located in a very rural area and an perfect base camp for hiking trips. The can comfortably be used for up to twelve persons. The owner is very polite and helpful, which makes the stay a great experience. I'm glad we found that great vacation home and had a very good time there

Ancienne ferme très bien restaurée avec de beaux espaces intérieurs et bien équipée.Le gîte est en hauteur, isolé, très calme avec une très belle vue.Nous n'y étions que pour dormir (fête de mariage dans les environs), mais cet hébergement a plu à tous.

Treffen mit 3 Familien

Ein tolles Wochenende bei wunderschönem Wetter. Super Aussicht in die Landschaft. Sonnenschirme ermöglichen ein schattiges Plätzchen vor dem Haus. Zwei große Gartentische können zum Essen benutzt werden. Das Haus ist abgelegen und daher sehr ruhig. Den großen Garten teilt man mit 3 Hunden, welche ab und zu zu Besuch kommen. Dabei bleibt es leider auch nicht aus, dass die Kinder auch mal Hundesch… am Schuh kleben haben (einziger ärgerlicher Punkt). Man kann unmittelbar vom Haus aus loswandern. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, Bettwäsche und Handtücher muss man allerdings selber mit bringen. Empfehlenswert!

Nous avons passé quelques jours très reposants dans ce magnifique gîte, décoré avec beaucoup de goût et parfaitement agencé. Très spacieux, fonctionnel et très bien équipé, chacun des membres de notre famille (9 personnes) a pu trouver y sa place. L'emplacement est idéal pour déconnecter, se balader, jouer, ... Les enfants étaient ravis de leur terrain de jeux géant et de la présence de la ferme voisine où nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis. Les visites quotidiennes aux chèvres et à leurs petits ont rythmé notre séjour! Gros pincement au cœur au moment de partir ce matin... Nous recommandons vivement cette adresse et espérons pouvoir y séjourner à nouveau !

En pleine nature !

Séjour agréable dans cette maison accueillante et spacieuse. Chaque membre de la famille a pu profiter des animaux de la ferme, de l'éang et du petit bois en extérieur et aussi avoir son intimité dans les nombreuses pièces de la maison. Merci aux propriétaires pour leur délicate attention (fromage dans le réfrigérateur) à notre arrivée !

Super séjour à Faing Janel

Nous avons passe d'excellentes vacances en famille à Faing Janel. La maison est très belle, spacieuse et bien équipée. La vie et la tranquillité sont fantastique. Il y a beaucoup à faire autour de la maison et faire des belles promenades directement à partir de là. Les enfants ont adoré les nombreux animaux. Le fromage de chèvre est excellent et les Babels très sympa.

Gite parfaitement équipé et spacieux dans un cadre idyllique entouré des animaux de la ferme. Le paradis pour les enfants. La vue de la terrasse est splendide. Les chemins de randonnées sont juste derrière. Le seul problème est qu'on n'a plus envie de partir. L'aimable Naya nous manque déjà.

Maison trés agréable, lumineuse, bien isolée et équipée, facile à vivre; paysage superbe et au calme

Nous avons quitté à regrets la magnifique maison du Faing-Janel, plantée sur le plateau face à un espace vaste, vert et calme. Chacun a trouvé sa place dans la maison grâce à l'espace donné à chaque pièce. Bien équipée, nous avons pu diner avec famille et amis. On se sent tout de suite bien dans la maison qui est tres bien réalisée/construite. Nous avons été accueilli chaleureusement pas le frere et la belle soeur des proprietaires qui habitent la ferme voisine ou nous avons pu acheter leur productons (fromages de chevres, objets en bois). La maison est au milieu de troupeaux de chèvres, moutons, cochons et vaches mais sans nuisance aucune et c 'est un plaisir pour les enfants de les observer. Sejour parfait, nous reviendrons c'est sur et nous recommandons!

Sehr schöne Urlaubszeit

Wir hatten mit der gesamten Familie eine sehr schöne Zeit im Ferienhaus. Das Haus hat eine wunderschöne Lage mit herrlicher Aussicht. In direkter Umgebung gibt es viele Wanderwege und es ist leicht, ein paar schöne Touren zu finden. Die Vermieter und die gesamte Familie sind sehr freundlich und wir haben uns willkommen gefühlt. Die Kinder konnten die vielen Tiere beobachten und hatten so immer viel Beschäftigung. Auch die Sonne schien die ganze Woche für uns. Also, zusammenfassend - hatten wir eine schöne, erholsame Urlaubswoche und überlegen schon, wieder nach Tendon zu kommen.
