About this property

This newly furnished 3,100 sqft home has it all - sitting on a 1.5 acre wooded lot on a quiet cove. Main lake is less than 10 minutes away by boat or car. It has plenty of room for 16 people with 6 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. It is the perfect getaway for family and friends! We book only SUNDAY to SUNDAY rentals during peak season, and a 4 day minimum on off seasons.

Just a few miles away from Food Lion, Ace Hardware, gas stations, restaurants, and shopping. On rainy days, there is a great antique market in Roanoke Rapids - about 25 minutes away.

Since this home not always occupied, we do have security cameras on the premises. There are 4 total: one overlooking our parking area, one overlooking our front door access, one overlooking our back door access, and one pointing directly at our boat. These cameras are disarmed upon your arrival.

Great Family Vacation

This is a perfect spot for a family vacation. Location is great on a quiet cove, but easy access to the main lake. Heather was easy to work with and very responsive to questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Stay! Great Family Vacation!

A wonderful home in a Great Lake location. Heather was super responsive and went above and beyond to ensure her home was ready for our stay. The Lake location is great on Pea Hill Creek w/boat ramp just a few miles away. We made a daily stop at the Gas Station which is a 5 minute boat ride for fuel, a breakfast sandwich, and beverages. We spent the majority of our time boating, in the Lake, or hanging out on the dock. The upstairs area was great for the Teenagers and our evening pool tournaments.

Great Property and What a Dock!!

This home was a great size for our 3 families over Memorial Day Weekend (our kids ages ranged 3-11). We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor spaces, especially the boathouse and dock. Even though it rained at times during our trip, we had an absolute blast and made so many memories! When the kids weren't using the kayaks and paddle boards they were fishing. Our youngest Little even caught a huge catfish on a kid/toy fishing pole...until the line broke, but what a story and experience! The home is on a fantastic stretch of the lake with easy access to great wakeboarding, surfing, and tubing spots. We had no problem getting our wakeboard boat in and out of the boat lift and appreciated it's availability. Thank you for sharing your home!

Fantastic House!!

This is our second time staying at this fantastic house. It is perfect for our family. Everyone was comfortable in the bedrooms and the house has a nice open family room to enjoy. The kitchen has everything you need to enjoy a family meal. We have three grandchildren who had the best time at the beach area. This area provided hours of entertainment for them. It was easy for them to access the lake and they enjoyed playing with the sand toys. Also, the fire pit is perfect for an evening of s'mores that all ages enjoyed!! The dock area has plenty of seating and the bar is great for an afternoon treat. The view of the lake is beautiful and it is a quiet cove for the family to enjoy!!

Hello! My name is Heather, and my husband David and I bought this lake property in 2018. Our primary residence is in Greensboro, NC. We LOVE lake life, and we spend most of our summer at this home. We only rent it out a handful of weeks each year, and we manage it on our own. It is truly our favorite place to be, and love that we get to share it with others!

Why they chose this property

This isn't just an investment property to us, it is our FAVORITE place. This is not managed by an investment firm; we've put our blood, sweat, and tears into it. We've personally remodeled every room, painted every inch, created several relaxing spaces around the property, planted new grass by hand, among so many other things. We love it here. You'll noticed that, because we live in this home very often, it's completely stocked. You will find almost anything you need in the kitchen, from pots and pans, crockpot, griddle, waffle maker, full dishes, several types of glasses, to a full cabinet of spices and oils.
