Serene spacious luxury lake front in quiet main lake cove

Happy Hour Hideaway has all of the upscale features of any Luxury Lake Home. Great 4600+ square feet of open floor plan suited for multi-family vacation. Total of 5 spacious bedrooms with large closets, 4 baths, and 2 fully equipped custom gourmet kitchens w/granite counters. Home includes multiple entertainment and living areas with high end features: coffered ceiling, hardwood & tile floors and high ceilings throughout. Lower level features 2nd kitchen, bar and another family room for ultimate entertainment. Great bunkroom for the kids with attached bonus room for TV, PS3, and lots of games. Separate game room in lower level includes pool table, ping pong table and dart board area. 7-person hot tub is located on the lower level deck with another covered outdoor seating area.

Gently sloping Cove-to-main Lake lot w/ beautiful main lake views from the double sundeck boathouse and good water depth. Sundeck has plenty of room to spread out with lots of seating, tables, lounge chairs and a large umbrella if you need some shade. We also added a covered seating area on the lower level of the boathouse. Safe, quiet swimming cove only 4 lots from main lake!

For you to enjoy on the water: 4 kayaks, 2 paddle boards, large floating mat, assorted floats and blow up water toys. We also have life jackets available for use (various sizes). 2 hammocks are provided down by the lake for your afternoon siesta and there is a new large fire pit for your after dinner stories and s’mores. Enjoy some friendly competition at the cornhole pits (boards are included) or newly added basketball goal in the cul-de-sac.

Hi-speed internet for those that need to work. Spread out and enjoy all the comforts of home on your relaxing, fun Lake Gaston vacation.

We had a wonderful time and the owners were very responsive and accommodating. It was two families of 4 (2 adults & 2 kiddos) and it was plenty of room. The cove was perfect for younger kiddos. It was a great retreat for two fireman and their families.

Our family spent Thanksgiving and a milestone birthday at this beautiful home. This spacious home was very well stocked and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. My grandchildren loved the paddle boards, kayaks, hot tub, corn hole and all of us enjoyed the fire pit. Many thanks to our great hosts!

We took our management team up to Lake Gaston for a ‘strategic planning weekend’ and we could not have had a better time! The accommodations were first class! Amazing place with owners that care

The best place we have stayed as a family hands down. Kids and adults had a blast on the water and the owners did so many special touches. From leaving my daughter a happy birthday basket to setting up the hammock and fire pit for us. Kids are already asking when we are going back. We couldn’t have been happier.

This most beautiful home was better than the pictures and the perfect spot for our multi-family Thanksgiving! The hosts were so pleasant and informative in their communications. Amazing soace

This house had everything you need for a fantastic weekend. Stayed with 12 guys and we were all comfortable. Plenty of space, plenty of room for activities, great dock and outdoor space. The lake was beautiful and it was a treat to use the kayaks and paddle boards. Would highly recommend this to any group of friends or family gatherings.

The house was a bit low on paper towels and toilet paper when we arrived, but was otherwise very well equipped. Brian was very proactive and responsive, offering to have the handyman swing by with paper products and--when my daughter lost her new earrings at the property--drove from Raleigh himself to search for them.

One of the best properties I have ever stayed in. We had 8 adults and had more than enough room. The fire pit and hot tub were fabulous and the lake toys, paddle boards, kayaks, life vests, floats, you name it the house had it. The house over all was stocked with everything you could need. The only thing was our food and the hosts were fantastic! Very responsive with any questions we had. I highly recommend and would go back if visiting Lake Gaston

Spacious and Beautiful lakefront home

My family of 7 adults spent 3 nights at this lovely lake house for an 80th birthday celebration for my mom. We loved it! The house was very clean, beautifully decorated with Christmas decorations, and had large bedrooms and gathering areas. We enjoyed the hot tub, kayaks, paddle boards and sitting on the large dock together. The kitchen had everything needed to cook meals for everyone. Communication with the owners was easy and I always received a quick response to any question. We would love to stay here again!
