House for younger folk
Loved the view of the lake each day!
Townhouse has many stair steps some on angle making it hard for older bodies to feel really safe.

Older joints do not do well with the stairs. Cookware could stand an update. Very nice neighbors.
Owner flexible with our check in without extra charge.
Always responded within 24 hours. If urgent, he answered the phone.
Because of closeness to highway, noise of traffic not so nice but tolerable. Loved the open doors to the screen porch.
Pool could use a heater for more use
We loved the community. We will miss the neighbors next year. Not coming back because of stairs, that's all.
Had a great time, would book again. Property manager was through about anything I needed. Definitely would update your pictures for the listing. Way nicer in person then the pictures show.

February stay in Lake Placid
Overall, we had a good experience staying at this property. The neighbors were very friendly and helpful with area suggestions of restaurants, golf, and others. The unit is conveniently located close to town but it does have a lot of highway noise particularly if you are by the pool. The fishing in the lake was awesome for large mouth bass. My husband caught several really good sized fish. The pool was generally very clean but it did require some maintenance during our stay that was delayed until one of the other owners came for the weekend and fixed it himself. I never saw the “pool guy” come and try to fix the problem. The kitchen in the unit had most everything I needed but I would have liked a 9x13 baking pan. We were told there was plenty of room for our fishing boat but that was not the case. It was difficult to maneuver it in the limited parking. The garage for the unit was too small to hold the boat or our vehicle. The unit was well stocked with linens and paper products for our entire month long stay.
Again, overall we enjoyed our stay.
