Dunns' Retreat: Relaxing Family Home with Pond & Mountain Views + Outdoor Shower

Welcome! It's time to relax!

Our family condo features a fully equipped kitchen, wood stove, outdoor fire pit and grill (seasonal), and outdoor shower (seasonal). Main level (first floor) has 1 full bath and 2 bedrooms, one with a queen and one with a full. Second/upper level loft bedroom has 2 queen beds, with skylight & bath with shower. Great for families -- lower level for parents, upper level for kids!

In warm weather, relax on our deck or in our hammock as you watch the hummingbirds buzzing around Crawford Pond. Cool off in the glorious outdoor shower. In cooler weather, enjoy our cozy wood burning stove after a day of leaf-peeping, skiing, or ice skating on the pond.

The loft bedroom is very private - it comprises the entire second floor and is not an open loft.

Bonus baby & kid items include: pack n play (you'll need to bring your pack n play sheets), 1 baby gate, kids books & toys.

BUILDING DESCRIPTION:

Our association consists of five buildings surrounding the pond.

Each building is a duplex with two units, for a total of ten units in the association. There are no single family buildings in this association. You will have two parking spots available for your stay.

AREA DESCRIPTION: The home sits right on a small pond, and is very close to Route 302. The area is very peaceful, private, and quiet. Attitash is only a mile away. Storyland is 4 miles away. 10 minutes to North Conway. Bretton Woods, Wildcat, and Cranmore, are 15-30 minute rides.

Wade in our pond or take a quick trip to Echo Lake (10 min ride), or the Saco River for swimming. The house is located in a wooded area, so your kids will enjoy exploring and catching frogs and tadpoles. Also, there is a large grassy area across from the house -- perfect for ballgames and picnics.

Nature at its best: Relax as you gaze out at the pond and mountains beyond. In the summer, enjoy the wild strawberries, blackberries, and hummingbirds. In winter, skate on the pond (make sure it's frozen!)

PLEASE READ:

--> We do not allow any pets. No exceptions. We have allergies.

--> Once you are paid in full, 3-5 days prior to check-in, we will email you directions / info about the house, as well as the key code.

--> All adults must be 25+ per association rules.

--> This is not a place for parties. We have neighbors that we respect and we respect their right to enjoy their home without a lot of noise. We will retain your full security deposit if excessive noise is reported.

--> We ask for your help in leaving our home in good condition. Procedures for checking out include running & emptying dishwasher, barring up and putting trash in barrel, turning off hot water heater in winter, etc.

--> Absolutely no smoking anywhere inside or outside this property.

--> Holiday rates are higher and may require longer stays.

--> Fire pit and grill are for summer use only.

--> Propane gas in grill not guaranteed. Guests do not always inform us when gas runs out and you may need to fill the gas tank. This is a 5 minute ride up the street and we will reimburse you.

--> This home is in the country. We do not guarantee that there will be no unwanted critters or insects. Also, there are mosquitoes in the woods in the summer. In the event of pests like mice, we will act as swiftly as possible to remediate any problems.
