Spectacular villa with remarkable service - perfect for any group!

We stayed at Villa Alpaka in January 2019 and had a truly fabulous experience. The villa is impeccable - everything is well apportioned and the views are unbeatable. The kitchen has everything you could need to cook or entertain; the bedrooms are private and spacious; the living room and tv room are comfortable and large and the deck and pool are ideal. Pierre, the property manager, is a gem. He answered our many questions promptly, was flexible and attended to all of our needs on the island. Pierre acted as our concierge making recommendations and reservations from everything from meals to private yoga classes and rental cars. We cannot say enough good things about our experience and cannot wait to return to Villa Alpaka soon!

We had an amazing week at Alpakka. This property far exceeding our expectations. The location was great…really close the harbour/downtown, beaches and the airport was 5 min away. I highly recommend this property for group of friends or family looking for a modern and spacious house with great views. The photos really do t do it Justice.

Almost perfect!

This beautiful villa was exactly as described from the listing. The views were amazing of the ocean. The 4 bedrooms were roomy and comfortable, with AC and adjoining bathrooms. One thing that wasn't mentioned is that there is no AC in the main living area and kitchen. We did have a nice breeze while there, but it did get warm if you were cooking in the kitchen. The infinity pool was always nice and cool so it was a good way to cool down if it did get too warm in the main area. But the main reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because it mentioned in the description that the beach is an "easy 6 minute walk." The villa sits right off a very busy road that can be treacherous to turn left due to a large hedge blocking your line of sight of oncoming traffic. The cars go flying by so you need to depend on a mirror across the street to make sure it's safe to turn. Also if you want to walk to the beach you have to walk on the side of this busy road with very little space and no sidewalk most of the way. On the way back from the beach, the incline is very steep and would not be for the faint of heart. All in all, we loved our time at Villa Alpaka. The morning delivery of French pastries was a nice touch, and so was the daily maid service. The concierge was very helpful with any questions we had. It is recommended to rent a car as this location is just far enough from Gustavia and it's difficult to get a cab at times.
