Welcome to Coast Oak! This adorable cottage sleeps up to 8 people and is also pet friendly. There is plenty of room next to the cottage to park your boat/trailer and vehicles. The master bedroom has a comfy queen size bed, flat screen television with plenty of storage for all your vacation clothes. This cozy tiny home has a set of bunk beds perfect for the kids or the child at heart. The loft is a perfect spot for kids or grown-ups that want to relax. There are two queen beds in the upstairs loft. All beds and linens are brand new.
The downstairs has an open concept with comfortable seating for everyone to gather and visit. The kitchen has all brand new appliances, and plenty of counter space to cook up your days catch. There is also an island with two stools for dining and four wooden tv trays for dining as well.
Coast Oak has a brand new flat screen tv with a smart blu-ray player. You can also use your Netflix account to keep up on your favorite shows after a long day of fun in the sun on our beautiful Rockport bays and beach.
Enjoy peaceful evenings on the covered porch amidst the beautiful oaks trees on the property. Enjoy grilling outside with your group on the gas grill and making memories sitting around the picnic table.
Tranquil Oaks has a common area with a large fire ring, shared picnic table and shared gas grill. The property owners have graciously furnished 2 regulation size cornhole boards and washers set for everyone to enjoy!
You're only minutes away from all the fun of downtown Rockport! Tranquil Oaks Cottages is also centrally located between Cove Harbor Marina and Conn Brown and Redfish Bay Marinas for quick and easy boat launching. Rockport Beach is a fun and affordable way to spend a day relaxing and swimming. Kids will also have a blast at the beach with the multiple themed playgrounds and swing sets. There are picnic tables and grills that you can set up at for the perfect beach experience. Rockport is home to many historical sights and parks as well, including the Fulton Mansion, Goose Island State Park, and The Texas Maritime Museum. Spend a day shopping on Market Street and an evening walking along the water. You can also enjoy fresh fish while watching the sunset over the bay at one of Rockport’s many tasty seafood restaurants.

Property info states they are pet friendly. However, once everything was paid in full I received the rules of the place. It stated DO NOT (all caps) allow pets on furniture. Are they a pet friendly place or not? Place was very clean & well furnished. if I may suggest something they should put an ottoman in the living area or a loveseat that can recline. After a day on the beach &/or walking around it would be nice to put my feet up. All in all it's a good place. They should also add a pool. Espcially for this time of year.

GREAT PLACE TO HANG YOUR HAT WHILE VISITING ROCKPORT-FULTON-ARANSAS AREA!

We had a wonderful time! The property is equidistance between downtown Rockport & downtown Aransas. Nothing is within walking distance but by car, HEB Grocery is 8 minutes away, Walmart 7 minutes away, beach & fishing peer about 8 minutes away depending on traffic. The public beach is perfect for families with young children. Plenty of playgrounds on the beach and the water is shallow for quite a distance. The tiny cabin is just as described...tiny. No space is wasted. The first day and night it was just my wife and I but the second day the daughter, son-in-law and 3 grandkids arrive. The 17 year old grandson loved the beds in the loft and the girls (5 & 7) loved the, built into the hallway wall, bunkbeds. My wife & I had the only private bedroom with a door. The cabins are built around a common area with a fire pit, pick-nick tables, & bar-b-que pit in the middle. Each cabin has its own pick-nick table and propane powered BBQ grill. We stayed in the COAST OAK cabin which is all by itself on one side of the common area. It is clear that new cabins will be built on that side of the common area but for now it is VERY private, we LOVED it. When we discovered that the internet was not functioning properly in our cabin, Angela went above and beyond to fix the problem. She offered us a different cabin, which we declined, so she came out and set up her PERSONAL internet service in our cabin for us to use for the rest of our stay! WHAT SERVICE! The only draw back is that there is not a washing machine, dryer or dishwasher but after all it is a "tiny" house. We are already talking about a return visit but my wife wants to rent 2 cabins next trip so that the daughter, son-in-law and the grandkids can have a tiny cabin for themselves. Side by side cabins would be nice. I am not certain what the rule is on using the common area fire pit but if you plan on using it, go out there early because I believe that it may be first come first serve. There is PLENTY of firewood chopped and ready to use! One unexpected pleasant perk was that the teenager grandson could watch the living room TV from the bed in the loft and not have to sit on the couch with his two little sisters. No fighting, poking, pushing, teasing, or crying. If you are looking for a super clean, private, secluded, hideaway in the woods near the Gulf Coast, and only minutes away from everything we love about the coast, this is your place!!! We look forward to our return!

all was great with exception of upstairs, ceilings very low and got uncomfortable to duck your head, and stairs leading upstairs were very steep. Aside from this i would still recommend the property 🙂

Awesome Stay May 2020

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and comfortable for my family of 5. Teenagers had the beds upstairs and my little on downstairs. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the supplies you need. Not far from the ferry at all to get to Port Aransas. Only concern was that the WiFi was really slow. Will book again in the future. 5 stars!!

Coast oak cottage

A wonderful cottage, with many great features, wifi, heat/air heat pump system. Close to Rockport/Aransas Pass, Mustang Island beach. Dish TV, easy to clean with our dog forever shedding hair. We spent 2 months here getting away from winter in Michigan. We want to come back. Drawbacks would be some tiny features. Narrow stairs to the loft bed rooms, small bathroom. We are 80 year Olds and we managed, with some slight difficulty. Very cosy place. The manager Angela, was most helpful, when we needed it.

Good Choice

Good location if one likes it peaceful and not in the center of all the action. This was our second stay at this location but at different cabins. Location is a short drive to RockPort and Aransas Pass. Easy boat trailer parking. Only pause I would advise someone is it has low ceilings especially the shower. If that bothers you try one of the other cabins.

Great Rental!!

This cute little cottage has a surprise waiting for you! 400 sq ft seems tiny but our family of 7 (4 adults and 3 kiddos, plus our lab) stayed very comfortably. The cottage utilizes space amazingly well and the beach decor is perfect. We will definitely be staying again of we get to come back to Port A!

A little slice of Heaven

We stayed at Angela’s cabin as a weekend getaway and change of scenery. -the cabin The cabin was cute, clean, and had just about everything we needed (including coffee maker & pots and pans) Myself & my 6 guests enjoyed the space & it didn’t feel as tiny!! -owners Angela was very attentive to my messages I would send to ask for random things and was very fast & efficient when replying. Upon arrival a man (I Assume her husband) was there checked in on us and even checked the propane tanks on the grill and left a spare one in case we needed it. Such a beautiful cabin to stay in & literally so many things to get into nearby. We would love to rent this cabin again in the future.

Great option for the TX coast!

Absolutely great experience here! The host was wonderfully friendly and helpful in every way with my many questions before and even after our stay. The place was really clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious! The wi-fi and cell service isn't amazing down there but hey you're at the beach, put your electronics away anyway! Great location as well, took us about 45 min to get to Port A with the ferry but Rockport beach was fun too and only 10 min. This is definitely a 5 star option for staying on the TX gulf coast!

We had an amazing experience staying at the Coast Oak Cottage! The cottage was everything the listing said it was - cute, clean, and perfect for a trip to the beach. Even though there were a couple minor hiccups, the owner worked to resolve them as quickly as possible & was wonderful throughout our whole stay! I/we will definitely be coming back to stay here again!!

We had a great time! Angela was so helpful, the House was stocked great with toilet paper, paper towels and towels. Coffee pot worked great. It was in a great location for the Rockport beach and it was only a 30 min drive to Corpus. I would stay here again and highly recommend this to any friend.

Awesome "tiny" home w/ nice setting

We had a great stay at this property. Its a "tiny" home (park model RV), with a set of bunk beds and a loft with additional beds. Its surprisingly roomy for the total size, and has complete kitchen. Its practically brand new and is located/situated in an area where multiple (maybe 6) tiny homes can share a fire pit area. Each tiny house has its own picnic table and gas grill, which we used for some steaks and taters. Although there were some visitors at the other units during our stay, we would not have even known they were there if i wasn't out walking our dog. Our house was quiet and well insulated. The ac system was impressive and kicks the temp down quick. In our limited pre-check in dialogue, management seemed very pleasant. Never had any issues with out stay to otherwise contact them. The place is conveniently located almost smack dab between Rockport and Aransas Pass.

There are electrical outlets to plug in anything that needs to be charged on your boat along with a water-hose to rinse your boat off after a great day on the water.
