The space
A standalone house of two floors with one bedroom (top floor) and the living room with sofa bed on the bottom, along with a cozy balcony space perfect for people watching, a kitchenette and two bathrooms.
Perfect for two couples travelling as a group or families with older children who need their own bed.
★ The upstairs bedroom has a queen sized bed, and the sofa downstairs transforms into a second queen sized bed. We have a very comfortable mattress topper to go on top of the sofa bed to ensure full comfort.
★ Beautiful cozy balcony on the upper floor perfect for coffee in the morning or beers in the evening for a group of 3 or 4.
★ Small Kitchenette with induction hot plate, microwave oven, as well as a French Press and a Vietnamese style drip coffee filter if you prefer the local experience. We include free ground coffee for your convenience. There is a kettle and a mini-fridge in the house along with assorted tableware and cutlery.
★ Comfortable sofa and a desk area in case you need to catch up on a little work.
★ Two bathrooms, each equipped with showers, so no need to fight over the bathrooms in the morning.
The house gets plenty of natural light, particularly the upstairs area facing the balcony. We have heavy, dark grey curtains installed in case you're a light sleeper or want to ensure your privacy.
Guest access
Unlike a lot of other places in HCMC, the house has no curfew - come and go as you please.
Feel free to use anything in the house including coffee, toiletries, the induction cooker, microwave oven, french press or kettle, and pretty much anything else. We also have a small set of books available in the house which you should feel free to read/peruse at your leisure in case you forgot to pack your holiday reading.
The door is fitted with a keypad for your convenience and to lock just lift the handle and its locked.
Interaction with guests
We'll respect your privacy while you stay with us, but we're definitely available if there is anything you need help with. Happy to provide recommendations for food and whatever else you're wondering about - one of us is a massive food guy and has previously lived in HCMC for extended periods. You can also see your guidebook which you'll find in the house upon arrival. In short, we won't bother you during your stay, but you should feel free to reach out to us with anything you need.
We both travel frequently so occasionally we might not actually be in the city to help you out - however, if you do need something urgently that requires someone to help you in person, let us know and we'll have a local friend help you out as needed.
Other things to note
We can help make recommendations for things like tours, motorbike rental, restaurants, bars and so forth. Just let us know what you're looking for.
