About this property

WATERFRONT,PRIVATE BOAT RAMP,SANDY BEACH ,GATED COMMUNITY, 3.5 bedrooms, 2 bath

This 3 1/2 bedroom house and 2 large bathrooms and sleeps 6 adults and for a small fee you may add 4 children. We have 2 queen air mattresses. This house is right on the river and has some amazing views of the river. I just LOVE setting at the charming dinning room table and watching all the activity on the river; whether it is jet skiing or watching wildlife. Oh what a view! The same is true for the back porch and the lawn. This house is all custom built and is just beautiful.

We are located across the river from Needles in a gated community on Dike Rd in AZ. We have a boat ramp, and 1 deck. One deck sets out over the river point and the other is just off our sandy beach area. The house is 30 ft from the water front. The beach front is shared with our back house #79306, however, with all the amenities , including 120 ft of water front and having double lots; we have plenty of room for our guest. In addition there ample parking for all the boats & toys you bring.

The boat dock was dismantled on October 12, 2019 We are waiting on the fabrication plans for our new dock at this time.

Love this hope so so much easy process. Owner was very nice. Beach needs a little bit of cleanup as there were lots of weeds and stickers rocks it would be nice to have a nice clean beach to be able to relax and but overall it was a wonderful experience.

Family Get a way

Have stayed in the back house previously, owner is always friendly and helpful. Stayed in the front house this time and had a great time, everything you need is stocked, house is clean will definitely be renting again next year.

DO NOT STAY HERE

I don't have enough words to describe the condition. The owner came back to the home twice and took pictures of people and cars on the property. She showed up at 4am and even opened the front door to look inside. She interfered with our use and enjoyment of the property. We got in at 5pm, and the listing says 1pm. The house was not cleaned, or vacuumed. I had to run the dishwasher and wipe down the frig myself. She had dogs in the home and didn't pickup dog poop. Her elderly parents used the restroom before they left, which is not sanitary. The deck was warn and a little girl fell through it, thankfully not hurt. The yard is overgrown and you cannot access the fire pit due to the weeds. The bugs are bad at night. There are no lights out on the grass/beach. There is no book for instructions on what they want done at checkout.

Danielle Fontenot, also known as, Danielle Giddings who is a practicing attorney at the Law Office of Paul Laskowski, Bullhead City, AZ. I rented 2 lovely homes on the Colorado River, located in Mohave Valley, AZ. On Friday night she had 30 people on our property. By Saturday, May 9th, I had over a half dozen neighbors contact me with complaints about a party taking place on our property. They were so concerned they sent me pictures of the yard and told me there were over 19 vehicles and 4 RV’s. One homeowner claimed to have counted a total of RV’s and 80 to 100 people on Saturday. We only allow 10 guest in our home. Not 100. And the deck was damaged due to Danielle removing the lounge chairs I had placed on the deck. It was not meant to be used as a dance floor for 20 plus people. Our homes are for family vacations and it is a breach of our rental contract to have more than 10 at any time. On the following morning, Monday, May 11th, check out day, I came by to walk the property and there where 8 cars parked outside house B and an additional 5 cars and 1 RV still parked outside house A. At that time, I took pictures and wrote down license plates numbers only. I DID NOT ENTER THE HOME. I sincerely recommend all rental agents to refuse the rental of their homes to Mrs. Danielle Giddings Fontenot in the future. I am extremely disappointed with Mrs. Giddings Fontenot’s breaking the laws of the state and local government and showing disrespect to other people’s property and breaching her rental agreement.

Location was great, house was as described, water was perfect, had a issues with the water heater, it’s got replaced within 2hr which was nice, kitchen amenities as far as a few things could be replaced, only had 1 older 4” knife to cut up 10lb of carne asada other then that I’d stay again as a host myself

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION

this is my second time staying at this property with my family and we will be booking again. This home is 4 homes North of the Needles bridge. The property is clean and the beach is great. Your own launch ramp with plenty of room to store trailers for the day or even if you want to set your anchor and leave them.

My father-in-law, Fred Taylor purchased these two lots while Jack Shafer purchased the second lot down the river form my father-in-laws. We have since sold the single lot after inheriting the two lots we are on now.The second house was built to assist with the payment of property taxes.

Why they chose this property

This property was designed and built my own hands (Jack Shafer). The custom home, boat ramp and decks all have been built with loving care.

What makes this property unique

120 feet private beach to be used by both rental homes. There is plenty of room on the water front, besides the two decks. The decks and patios give our guest a wonderful place to sip a cocktail at the end of the day and watch the sunset.

It doesn't get any better than that.
