We chose Kamaole Sands due to it's fantastic location directly across the street from Kamaole Beach Park 3. Kamaole 3 is a beautiful white sand beach which is popular for swimming, snorkeling, and boogie boarding.

Stainless steel appliances, air conditioning, quartz countertops, and a 65" TV are some of the amenities you will enjoy during your stay.

The unit is on the third floor and is directly across the street from Kamaole Beach 3. We love having meals on the covered lanai. Some of the features of the condo include:

Nice Stay

We had a nice stay at the condo. Everything was clean and looked just as the pictures online. The kiddie pool on property was a bonus for the kids!

Bare Minimum

We stayed in this unit from March 8-18. 2 adults, 3 kids. We arrived very late in the evening. We went to the office first thing in the morning and the receptionist was very rude. She told us she was just about to cancel our booking because we didn’t check in when we got there. It was about 6 hours after. I had no idea the office was open 24hrs. Don’t they have to wait at least 24hrs before they can cancel it? The condo itself isn’t really anything special. I’ve stayed in quite a few rentals and this was had been the most disappointing. Its very under stocked with anything. The kids slept on the 2 pull outs , which we knew prior to arriving and isn’t a problem at all. It’s the bedding that’s the problem. Just the bare minimum. Nothing extra. The master bedroom is the worst. The window looks out onto the main walkway of the building. You can see right inside even with the blinds closed. It says free local phone calls but there is no phone in the unit. The lanai is very small and the view isn’t good at all. Yes technically it has “ocean view” but let’s be real. The “fully equipped“ kitchen is not even close. Just enough to make it official. The fridge won’t open fully because of the island. The ice maker spews ice all over the floor every time you open the freezer. The actual resort is very nice and well maintained. I would stay there again but not this unit. You will be able to find a much better place.

Hailey, thanks for your feedback. I wish you had reached out to me during your stay. My apologies if the front desk was rude. They do not have the authority to cancel your stay. They work for the resort, not us. I would have been more than happy to bring you anything you were needing during your stay if you had reached out to me. I'm not sure what you are referencing in regards to bedding. We have a new mattress and provide sheets, pillows, and blankets. I've never had a request for anything in addition to that. You mentioned the condo itself. We recently completed an $80,000 remedol on the unit, so I know that it is in excellent shape. You didn't like the blinds. I have these same blinds in 7 different units and I've never had a single complaint. The kitchen has all the basics, once again I've never had a single person complain or ask for anything additional. We have a list of over 50 items which are in the kitchen. I have been in hundreds of units on Maui, and this unit is about as nice as it gets. If you were this unhappy with our unit, you may want to consider the Four Seasons for future trips. Mahalo
