A delightful stay. Incredibly convenient for many, many sites on foot. Bakery and cafe a few metres away. The apartment is very well provisioned, warm, safe, sparklingly clean and high quality all round.
My family stayed for an extended vacation while in London for a wedding. This was a wonderful home base for all our adventures, conveniently located near everything!!
Wonderful stay, Tak was excellent! Our apartment was clean, great location and plenty of room for two adults and two teenage girls.Would return in a heart beat if and when we return to London. Thank you Tak
My daughter and I stayed here during her spring break and it was perfect in every way. The flat is close to all the great Covent Garden stores, and is in the best central location to get around to other areas. The views were nice and it was very clean as well. Definitely enjoyed our stay here.
A fab place for a family of four. Conveniently within walking distance to many tube stations. Clean and bright apartment with nice appliances. Loved our stay. Tesco is just around the block, too.
We had a fabulous stay at the apartment in Covent Gardens. The location was superb, the host friendly, and the apartment well suited for our family (2 adults and 2 children aged 8 and 11). Terrific experience!

A wonderful week in London!
Jo’s property was perfect for our family. The location was terrific, the apartment was terrifically furnished, and Jo was an outstanding host!
Thanks so much for allowing us to rent from you!
The flat is located in the center of theatre land. It is spacious with plenty of room for our family of four adults. You are in the center but on a quiet pedestrian street. Highly recommended.
We travelled from Australia for a 5 week family trip to Europe. This was our first time to London and we could not have picked a better location. We were here for 6 nights over Christmas. Our only regret was not staying longer.
Our family of three from Australia enjoyed our two week stay during May 2025 in this cosy apartment which is equipped with all the conveniences of home, it’s comfy, clean & warm and is within easy walking distance to London’s main attractions. The communication & check in / check out process with Jo & team was easy. The only things we would change are the creaky floorboards near the bedroom doors which are disturbing at night and the mattress in the main bedroom could be better but these things would’ t stop us from staying again.
We really enjoyed this spot to stay in Covent Garden for six nights. We had a family of 4 and found it perfect for our needs. It's in a fantastic location, is close to everything (walking distance to so much or a tube station to get elsewhere), relatively quiet (quieter than we expected) and good size rooms. The communication with the owner from the start was excellent and when we arrived earlier than the official check-in time we were able to put our bags in the apartment before the cleaning was finished. It meant we could go out and explore without our bags which was greatly appreciated and woke us up after a long plane trip. Overall I would highly recommend to stay here and is far better than an expensive and small room hotel in the same area.
Perfect for our family. Very clean and comfortable. Great location on a quiet street that's closed to traffic most of time but steps away from everything. Host really helped us out with a favor upon our arrival. Two bathrooms is a nice bonus for a small place. Washer and dryer take the stress out of counting days when packing - small but great to have. Kitchen seemed well equipped - although we didn't cook. We got some breakfast items, snacks, fruit, etc but ate out for most meals. WiFi is very fast. Beds are standard 'double' beds - not queen or king - just something to keep in mind if sharing is an issue.Street noise that others may have mentioned could be an issue. It's a quiet area but the narrow street and tall buildings seem to amplify any sound. A group walking through at night or deliveries and garbage collection in the morning might be noticed by a light sleeper.Overall, a fantastic stay for our family. Would highly recommend and consider staying again.
This was our home base for a 9-day trip to London and we could not have asked for a better location. This is right down the street from the Covent Garden underground station with easy access to Heathrow and everything else London has to offer. Despite being in bustling Covent Garden, the street that the apartment overlooks is quiet. We appreciated that the apartment had two bathrooms, a well-appointed kitchen, and a washer and dryer. Like most of London, the apartment does not have air conditioning, but the owners have supplied fans and those combined with airflow from open windows kept us comfortable. The owner was incredibly helpful and responsive. We would absolutely stay here again.
This is a great apartment!
Positives:
- Pictures don't do this place justice! Much nicer than the photos
- Space is big, good size living room & kitchen, although we didn't cook
- Bed in master is comfortable (didn't use other bed)
- Relatively quiet street in noisy Covent Garden area
- Great location! Easy to walk to so many places London!
- On Floral St, near Floral Court, a few doors down from Peloton Studios, super convenient for taking classes (although studio has fabulous locker & shower facilities). Go to Chestnut, great bakery & cafe couple doors down - amazing pastries, sandwiches, & breakfasts
- Very quiet building
Of note:
- Street is ped only, except for trucks in morning to load stores. Not too noisy, but 1 morning truck in garage across from apt made an incredible racket (we were there for 5 nights)
- No bars or nightlife on this part of the street, there is a bar at the intersection & a few revelers made it down towards the apartment on Sat night. Other than that it was pretty quiet at night. Bedrooms overlook the street.
- Bed in 2nd bedroom is against the wall, fine for two kids to share or a single adult, but with 2 adults, one is against the wall
- faucet in main bathroom tricky to figure out how to use (maybe just for those from US-ha!)
very tiny sink in 2nd bathroom-ok for brushing teeth, not washing face
- some confusion at checkin, called Jo on arrival, indicated she'd meet us, but then got a call from her Asst, no mention of him, but he was helpful
Whether this is your first or 50th visit to London, you’ll be delighted with this apartment and its location. Equidistant between Covent Garden and Leicester Square tube stations, you are also within walking distance of innumerable London sites such as Covent Garden; Trafalgar Square; Big Ben and the Churchill War Rooms, to name but a few. There are cafés and shops all around you and a Tesco supermarket three minutes away.
As for the apartment itself, the building has an elevator and is very secure. The bright kitchen is well-equipped and comes supplied with re-usable supermarket bags as Tesco has done away with the plastic ones. The second bedroom is a little tight but has a comfortable bed, wardrobe and console table. There is an abundance of wardrobe space in the generous master bedroom and open windows provide a lovely breeze.
My favourite feature was the separate second toilet so there’s no waiting in line! The living area is comfortable and a great place to relax after a busy day.
My only reason for a 4, rather than a 5-star rating were some housekeeping issues but Jo is very responsive and they were resolved. We would definitely return!
Note: We were fine but the design of the main bathroom could present problems for some. The shower opening is quite narrow and adjacent to the sink so you more or less have to slide in sideways which could present a challenge in terms of someone’s mobility or size.

Great location, clean and tidy, bathroom needs a little work, but had mice.
The location is really great, and Jo was kindly accommodating when we had to drop off bags before the flat had been turned around and prepped for new guests.
- The bedrooms were clean, comfortable and tidy.
- The kitchen was clean and well appointed.
- The couches in the living room were uncomfortable - probably needed new cushions, but not a show-stopper.
- The half bath was clean, but the toilet seat was loose.
- The toilet seats in the master bath were also loose, but the bath was quite moldy - both the grouting and the sealant. I didn't feel clean getting out of the shower. One of the two shower heads was unusable because the pipe had a poorly repaired leak.
- The internet was slow during the day and unusable at night.
- By far the worst thing however was that on two occasions late at night mice ran through the living room. Jo was helpful in offering to send exterminators, but more should be done to ensure that this never happens, regardless of how good the response is. £1,200 for 4 nights is an awful lot to spend on accommodation if you have to share it with mice.
If the bathroom is regrouted, toilet seats fixed, couch cushions replaced and the internet fixed then it's easy to recommend - good service and great location, but otherwise it's not the best value unless those things don't concern you.
I'm sure we just had bad luck with the mice, but it certainly dampened our experience. More could have been done to smooth that issue over.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Just to confirm that the shower head/hose has now been replaced. The bathrooms are professionaly cleaned after each guest and no-one else has mentioned mould.
A note to all future renters please note that if you have any issues regarding cleanliness please do contact me straight away and I will do everything I can to fix the situation.
The mice sightings must of been bad luck though I can confirm the building and the apartment have regular pest control mesaures as unfortunately a lot of buildings in the area have mice.
I am glad you enjoyed the great location.
Many thanks
This is a 2-bedroom, 1.5 bathroom apartment in a renovated elevator-equipped building in the heart of the Covent Garden neighborhood. New kitchen, new bathrooms, very clean and well-maintained. On a pedestrian-only street, lined with shops, restaurants, and cafés. Steps from Leicester Square, Trafalgar. Jo, our hostess, met us promptly to admit us to the apartment and was very friendly and helpful. We would love to visit again soon!
This apartment was perfect in covent garden. The apartment is on a pedestrian only street with a great coffee shop around the corner. Jo was a great host and very accommodating to our needs having bags and such before official check in time. Lift goes all the way to the apartment. Would absolutely stay again!
The apartment was "as described" in a perfect location near many sites and paces away from the underground station. It was very clean and the elevator/lift and all the appliances worked well. There were lots of towels and the bed was comfortable. John was a conscientious host. Some small negatives: the "spaghetti pot" was a few quarts short of what it should have been (a bigger one is needed) and the sauté pan and non-stick skillet were in bad condition (they should be replaced). Otherwise, the apartment was expensive, but still a good value for the money. Highly recommended.
My parents and I had a wonderful stay at Jo’s apartment. It was clean and fully loaded with everything we needed for our 12-day stay. In the bedrooms, there was ample closet/storage space for us to unpack and settle in, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The living area was spacious, as was the kitchen. It was very easy to quickly make ourselves at home. :-)
And then, location location location. You really couldn’t find a better spot in the heart of everything but still on a quiet and charming side street. The apartment itself is just around the corner from Covent Garden tube station, but it is an easy walk (even for my older parents) to other lines. So much was walkable from here!
Overall, we had a great experience, and we’d stay here again in a heartbeat.
