Location was amazing, property was clean and we'll provisioned. The owner was very good at communicating and very pleasant. Would very certainly stay again.
We truly enjoyed our stay in London! The location is unbeatable. We were so pleased to find basic toiletries for the whole family to use, plenty of towels, and even some kitchen essentials. As an American family visiting London I think just important to remember everything is smaller so don’t overpack or bring large suitcases.
The apartment was great, our favourite out of all our stays in London over the years. Our host was wonderful, he responded to any queries we had straight away and provided great recommendations.
Everything about the flat was wonderful. It was comfortable, very tastefully appointed, and had everything we needed to feel very much at home. The host, Jacob, was fabulous. He could not have been more welcoming or helpful. We look forward to returning!
We had a fabulous time staying in London at this flat. It was in the perfect location, short walk to a lot of main attractions. Very clean, with a full kitchen, washer/dryer and is very nicely decorated. This flat deserves more than 5 stars!!! Thanks for the great stay!
We had an amazing stay at this London apartment! The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep after days of exploring. The location was unbeatable—right in the heart of everything, yet the street was surprisingly quiet, offering the best of both worlds. We could easily walk to nearly all the major attractions. The apartment itself was thoughtfully equipped with every little detail you could need, making it feel like a home away from home. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again!
This is a lovely property right in the heart of things, but still a pretty quiet lane. Easy walk to the parks and Oxford street. Very well set up kitchen, (loved the large Nespresso!) with generous supplies.
Only one short set of stairs to the flat, which was a great treat compared to many London flats!
Very easy check in process.
This was one of the best rental experiences I’ve ever had. Since the beginning Jacob was so understanding and accommodating to make sure we got the best out of our stay. The place was immaculate clean and the area was a great location on a quiet street.
We love London. This was the first time we did not stay in a hotel. We were supper happy with our choice to stay at Jacob’s beautifully appointed apartment. It was exactly what we were hoping for - hotel styling with a locals sensibility. Jacob is a fantastic host, great communicator and offered lots of wonderful local recommendations.
We love this apartment so much that we came back for a second time. The location of this historic building is unbeatable and the apartment is super comfortable and well appointed. Plus the host, Jacob, is fantastic. A bargain for the experience.
Ideally located in a very desirable area. Walking distance to shopping and dining. Antique furniture is in in every room, and tasteful artwork adorns the walls. All modern amenities are in the kitchen, including a combo washer/dryer. The air conditioning works well.
We had a wonderful time in London. Flat is perfect in every way, lovely provisions, lovely area, great cafe almost next door with great coffee and amazing food!
Will definitely be back!
Many thanks to Jacob for his communication, very helpful.
We were lucky enough to find this place after another VRBO host cancelled our reservation last minute. So glad that happened because this was a great place for our family of 5. The flat is in a perfect location for exploring London. We walked to Buckingham Palace in about 10-15 minutes and could easily get to all the major sites. Lots of pubs & eateries close by too.
The flat is furnished very nicely and very well equipped. Jacob is a phenomenal host and is very easy to work with. We would highly recommend staying here.
Also… A/C worked great for London’s warm summer days.
Perfect location. Very clean flat with all the necessary amenities. Laundry, hair dryer, iron. Kitchen fully equipped with dishes. Check in was very easy. Host was kind and helpful. Host went above and beyond. Within walking distance to underground, grocery, restaurants. We traveled with 2 kids ages 7 and 12. 1 flight of stairs, no lift. Absolutely recommend.
We loved this flat in Mayfair. It is very nicely appointed with everything you may need, and it is extremely comfortable. The owners provided us with some great recommendations in the area and were fantastic to work with. I highly recommend this apartment for anyone visiting London. You won’t be sorry!!
This was our first trip to London, and we weren’t disappointed! The house is in Mayfair which is THE place to be in London in my opinion. Jacob was a gracious host and allowed us to store our luggage until check in which was very kind. The lodging was very clean and it had everything we could need. The location was steps from high-end shopping and dining, but also within walking distance to attractions like Buckingham Palace, St. James Park and the British Museum. It was a treat to be there at Christmas with all of the lights and festive decorations lining the streets. I will highly recommend this rental to all of my friends!! Thank you Jacob!!
Wonderful experience- location could not have been better! One of the best places we have stayed in London. Every need was met and the furnishings were beautiful!
The apartment was exactly as advertised. Could not ask for a better location. Check in process very easy. Jacob was an excellent host. Highly recommend
Had a wonderful stay with my wife and teenage daughter in London. Jacob was super accommodating, friendly and responsive, and the location in London could not have been better. Short walking distance from Oxford St, Piccadilly, Soho and many other sites, and located on a quiet street just off Berkeley Square. Would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Mayfair.

About the host
Hosted by Jacob & Thomasina
Jacob & Thomasina own an online vintage and antique homeware shop. Not only are they super knowledgeable about Mayfair, but they are also very friendly and more than happy to help with any queries or suggest fabulous local places to shop, eat and drink.
Why they chose this property
Just off Berkeley square, we are in the absolute centre of Mayfair. So this is probably the best location in central London to explore this area.
What makes this property unique
Along with the world famous Dunhill's Bourdon House opposite us, our home is the oldest surviving building in Mayfair. Built in the 1730s Georgian period, it was extended in the 1820s by the same architect who built part of Buckingham Palace.
