We walked in the place on a sunny day and were blown away by the alpine glow on the Tetons. Place is cozy and fits a lot of people. 20 minute cut through to grand targhee
The view and location are great. The house was really clean inside. Plenty of towels and linens. The kitchen has everything you need. Would definitely stay there again.
The house was fabulous, and had all we needed to cook large family breakfasts and dinners. Lori, the property manager, was incredibly responsive and helpful. The house was in a great location, close to town and the ski hill. The views of the Tetons from the house were incredible. Would definitely stay there again.
We so enjoyed our stay this Fall, viewing the Tetons from every place in the lovely home. It was perfect for us. Amazing setting, close to Driggs and everything we needed. From groceries to excellent restaurants for casual dining. Thank you!
We enjoyed our stay at the Targhee Farmhouse so much. The views were spectacular, and the house was well stocked for our visit. We had plenty of space for our group of four adults and two children, and we would happily stay here again. From the house, we travled to the Targhee ski resort and visited Jackson Hole several times throughout our stay.
My husband, 4 boys and I absolutely loved our stay at the Targhee Farm house! We had everything we needed and all of the comforts of home. The views were beautiful and the location was easy for a trip to Yellowstone and Jackson Hole. We also loved the town of Driggs and the wonderful restaurants they had to offer. The Spud Drive-In theater was a special treat for our boys and Broulims grocery store was conveniently close. We miss it already and can’t wait to come back again to visit someday! Thank you for the wonderful stay!
We had a nice time staying here to ski Targhee with friends. Plenty of room for us. It would have been nice to have a bathroom on the second level. Also would not recommend having a fire until the seal is fixed into the master bedroom.
This was a great rental. Lots of room, quiet, large kitchen stocked with all the tools and utensils you could need. They even thought to have storage containers! Always a plus to not feel restricted to some very basic amenities! Comfortable beds and lost of space to wind down after a long day of exploring. 55 minute trip to Jackson or just 10 minutes to the closest grocery store! Thank you for a wonderful home base to enjoy!
Beautiful views of the Tetons. House was accurately described. Very comfortable beds. The hot water tank was having issues and it was not fun to come back from a day of skiing to ice cold water. The property manager called in a repairman to fix it but unfortunately the new hot water tank wouldn’t arrive until after we left. We were slightly compensated for the inconvenience, but that still didn’t change the fact that we would have to wait over an hour plus to get hot water after my husband had to relight the pilot light. We were told by the repairmen that they had issues before with the tank... it should have been addressed then and not during our stay.
If it weren’t for the hot water, our ratings would be a lot different.
The view of the Tetons from the house was spectacular. We spent time on the couches just drinking our coffee and enjoying the view out of the picturesque windows. The house was large and clean with beautiful wood floors and woodwork. It provided ample space for our family of five. My wife and I especially loved the comfort of our bed in the master BR. I wish we would have gotten the name brand of the mattress so that we could buy one for ourself. We also loved the jetted tub and shower in the large bath. The house was well-kept and nicely stocked. The neighboorhood was very quiet. We enjoyed seeing and hearing the native birds in the meadows. The house was easy to find and had a great parking spot at the front door making loading and unloading a snap. The house was an excellent, economical, strategically-located base camp for us as we visited the Grand Teton National Park. We were not too far from the Grand Teton Pass. Thankfully, we were there before the pass washout so our over and back trips were uneventful as we enjoyed the beautiful scenery. The house was also not too far from the Broulim's grocery store, restaurants, and other stores in both Driggs and Victor. The only concerns we had were that the dishwasher didn't wash the dishes very well and the coffee maker took forever to warmup & make coffee. We also would have liked to have made a fire out back in the fire pit but the lawn was uncut and there was no firewood. Otherwise, we highly recommend this house!
Very nice and clean home with spectacular veiws! This house was definetly a home a way from home and had everything you could think of. Definetly would recommended staying here!
My husband and his parents took a road trip to Yellowstone. We stayed at this house and Driggs and it was great. All the amenities of being home, we grilled almost every night, and close enough to get to Jackson and Yellowstone. The house was great and communication was good. The town was cute and we really enjoyed the sunrises, sunsets, and star gazing.

Poorly maintained
I truly am someone who never complains but I have a lot of negative things to say about this house. We had much higher expectations for this place given we paid over $2,000 for 5 nights. Around 2:00PM I asked if we could check in early but Lori said they were still cleaning and it wouldn’t be ready for a few hours. Absolutely nothing wrong with that as we didn’t expect an early check in! Lori was very nice. But upon our arrival at 4PM, the house was visibly dirty. There was dog hair all over the house- including on the table, counters, couch, and inside the fridge. There were grimy fingerprints all over the kitchen, and foot and paw prints all over the floor. I decided to wipe the counters, and the towel I used turned brown from dirt. I sent photos to Lori because I was unhappy with the cleanliness. We arranged to have them clean the house the next day and the house was clean when we returned. Please don’t mislead guests by saying cleanliness is your top priority on the listing and not take cleanliness seriously, especially during a pandemic.
There were some maintenance issues as well. Downstairs the smoke detectors were disconnected and laying on the floor. The first 5 minutes into using the grill, it ran out of propane. We didn’t even tell her because our $60 elk steak had already started cooking and we were so irritated. Went inside to finish cooking and the right side of the stove wouldn’t light. There is a lighter there to start it though. The French doors in the living room would NOT open, despite Lori saying “you just have to turn the knob really hard to the left or right”, and and the shower head in the smaller bathroom only worked about 50% of the time.
Also, there are very few curtains in this house so the privacy was limited. There is a window that looks directly into the rental apartment’s deck and it is not covered. I found this very strange.
Lastly, and I am hesitant to even say this, but my husband and I both got some very weird vibes in this house. We also heard some weird noises in the house. He woke up at 2AM EVERY single night with a weird feeling.
All in all, we splurged on this house for our honeymoon and ended up wishing we had stayed somewhere else. I normally don’t even write reviews but we were not thrilled by the lack of care for this property. Save your money and go elsewhere
The views of the Tetons from the house are amazing. This house was stocked better than any rental I’ve ever stayed in. We had plenty of sheets, towels, washrags, toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner, laundry supplies, and much more. We really enjoyed our stay here and Driggs was just the right distance from the business of Jackson Hole. There was plenty of room for everyone and the kids really enjoyed the loft room and the bunk beds.

Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
Please Read Before Booking!!!!
The home is exactly as the pictures show, however, there were some serious issues during our stay. First, as I was reading the other reviews, someone already stated that the listing has air conditioning as an amenity, yet there wasn't one. The rental adviser stated the listing was corrected. Unfortunately, what I found is that the listing still states there's air conditioning, but THERE IS NONE. Let me be clear, this property has no air conditioning.
Another thing that is not made clear in the listing, is there is a long term tenant living above the garage. That's right, the garage shown in the picture, right beside the home, has a tenant living in an apartment above. It is extremely awkward for various reasons, especially considering there are no mini blinds or curtains in the windows. So when the tenant sits on his back deck, there's clear views throughout the home.
**CARBON MONOXIDE** During our stay the home filled with carbon monoxide. Luckily, my daughter smelled something "funny" and started feeling nauseated. Otherwise, we would have all went to sleep that night and not woke up!!! We Immediately contacted the property manager. We spent two days dealing with repairmen and ended up cutting our trip short. The repairman stated that the hot water heater wasn't properly vented causing back flow of carbon monoxide into the home. After going back and reading reviews, it appears a guest in February complained that the hot water heater went out. My guess is that's when it was replaced. It makes me ill to think how many people have rented the home before we did and could have gotten carbon monoxide poisoning. Yes, we received a refund for the nights we didn't stay. BUT, NOTHING MAKES UP FOR THE TRAUMA AND FEAR WE EXPERIENCED. Imagine having your entire family in one home and realizing just how close you were to losing everyone. It was scary as h3ll and I still have nightmares about it.
PLEASE, PLEASE do NOT book this property until you have verification that the vent on the hot water heater has been properly fixed AND PLEASE take a carbon monoxide detector!!! Also, realize that not having an air conditioner and being forced to open the windows contributes to the back flow of carbon monoxide. PLEASE BE CAREFUL .
The house has an incredible view of the Tetons and Grand Targhee. The kitchen was packed with tons of cooking supplies which was nice because it allowed us to cook at the house after a long day of skiing. I would definitely recommend staying at this house.
Great place to stay UNLESS the weather is unusually warm
I saw a recent review that noted that there was no a/c at this property, so I was concerned as the weather forecast was unusually warm. I emailed the owner to specifically ask if there was air conditioning. The reply was yes. So I went ahead and booked. The house is wonderful, the location fantastic and the views majestic. But, indeed, there is no a/c at this property and the windows act like a magnifying glass for the sun (no shades or windows with UV protection). First few days was uncomfortably warm in the house, but got better when the weather normalized.
