This ski in/ski out unit in The Village makes your family ski trip EASY; everything you need for an awesome ski vacation is right here in The Village. With the gondola to Canyon Lodge located in The Village, this location offers very easy access to the slopes. This condo itself offers a fully-appointed kitchen with granite counters, dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave and full-size refrigerator. Dining table seats up to 6. If you don't feel like cooking, you can venture out and enjoy one of the many gourmet restaurants The Village has to offer.
Bed Configuration :
Master - King Bedroom #2- bunkbed with a twin over queen over a twin trundle.
The Village also offers a small grocery store, shopping, ski rental services, heated swimming pool (all year), 3 jacuzzis, and a gym. After an exciting day on the slopes, store your ski gear in the ski locker closest to the gondola and ride the elevator up to the luxurious condo to relax by the fireplace.
Please be mindful that this is a privately owned and professionally managed unit; direct all inquires and concerns to Mammoth Five Star Lodging. 866-MAMMOTH. During the summer season, the fireplaces are turned off by the Village and back on for the winter season. The Village restricts the use of the Valet and Valet carts for privately owned units.
The unit is located in the quiet section of The Village (Lincoln House overlooks the pool and lagoon where the kids like to enjoy playful snowball fights in the afternoon), you'll be away from the hustle, bustle, and noise of the businesses in The Village, but close enough to enjoy them when you so desire. Wake up to beautiful views of Mt. Sherman.

We had a great stay with our family of 4. Nice setup with 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms, pool access, and centrally located in the Village with easy access to shops and restaurants and short drive to the Basin. Would recommend and stay here again.
This property was very clean and had all the amenities we needed during our stay. The location is perfect to restaurants and the shuttle/trolley system. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely book again!

ALL IN ALL WAS A GREAT STAY. I RECOMMEND A NEW COUCH AND SMART TVS. THE CABLE PROVIDED WAS POOR AND LIMITED. VERYTHING ELSE WAS GREAT, SERVICE, COMMUNICATION, CONDO. NO REAL COMPLAINTS JUST THESE FEW UPFGADES WOULD HAVE BEEN HIGHLY NOTICED. THANK YOU FOR A GREAT PLACE TO STAY WITH FRIENDS.

Great location! This condo was located in the village just steps away from the gondola. Very convenient for those wanting to ski/snowboard. Condo was clean, checkin/out process very clear. Will definitely book again in the future.

We had a blast and everything was exactly as described. The beds were all comfortable and there was plenty of room for us to hang out in the living room! We would book it again. The one parking pass (as mentioned in other reviews) us a bit of a hassle but not a deal breaker for sure.

Unfortunately the cleaning crew didn’t do a thorough job and a fishing hook was left on the floor in the kitchen. One of our guests stepped on it and it was stuck deep in his foot. This was a terrible way to start the trip. Otherwise the unit was excellent. Location was great!

We're truly sorry to hear about the issue with the fishing hook; that’s certainly not the experience we aim to provide. We wish this had been brought to our attention during your stay, as we would have promptly sent our team to re-clean or address any concerns.
If you are ever having trouble during your stay, I encourage you to contact your VR manager while you are in the property, as they may well be prepared to handle your concerns. We have 18 full time staff members in our housekeeping, maintenance and guest services departments who we can call upon to resolve problems. The place was very clean and the location in the Village was very nice with a view of the pool grounds and also the mountains peeking above. The corporate management is a little over the top in the trend of signing a whole lease with pages and pages of rules and legal stuff. And they send it 5x. They did not respond to my request for late check out of 12 instead of 10am, which is super early. But the place was great.

We are so sorry you were inconvenienced during your stay! We always strive to make every guest stay as perfect as possible, inspecting every property twice between every departure/arrival. Our staff are human of course, and so even if we hit 95%, that still leaves some issues from time to time for guests to contend with.
As a professional property manager we post clear rules, expectations for departure, and potential fees or fines for ignoring those rules during your stay or after departure. We almost never actually fine anyone, because virtually all guests follow the rules. We donÕt ask for anything too hard: no linen stripping, no cleaning- just a few basics like trash removal, heat settings, run the dish washer, etc.).
All guests must sign a contract when booking and these rules and fines must specifically be initialed for approval before completing the booking procedure. These same rules and fines are posted inside the unit to ensure there are no surprises. We believe posting the rules up front so they are clearly understood to be the best way to meet our dual obligation to our renters, as well as to our homeowners, who expect us to protect their home and investment.
Our check out rules have good reasons for them. For example, failure to remove trash after your stay can invite bears to break in, causing thousands of dollars in property damage. Similarly, a vacant unit left unheated can have pipes burst; parking and noise violations can bring police or HOA fines on the property owner, etc. All our rules have similar logic, I don't have enough space here to explain them all, but call if you're concerned.

This was a perfect condo for a ski weekend with our two kids. The bunk room is great and even has a trundle for another kid if needed. Master bed is comfortable and both bathrooms had tubs/showers, which our girls loved. Kitchen was very functional; missing some seasonings but easy to go without. The TVs are not smart TVs so be prepared to watch anything streaming on your laptop/tablet. We love Lincoln House for how close and convenient it is to the gondola for skiing and to restaurants/shops. Windows do look out to the inner courtyard and it can be a bit noisy, but quiet hours are enforced and we were able to sleep well. Great unit - we would definitely stay again!
All was a good experience. Good communication with company and host. The only complaint is there is no AC and it was HOT . There is a small separate AC unit (swamp cooler) which honestly didn’t help very much and the entire unit was very warm but not many units in mammoth actually have good AC anyways.
This unit is pretty far from the elevator so may not be ideal if you aren’t able to walk a lot (elderly etc). I wish there were dollies to help unload car and reload since it’s so far away from the elevator but we just made several trips.
We would stay here again.

This unit has an air conditioner. It is not a swamp cooler. We manage about 65 properties and none of them has central air conditioning. The Village was built with vents for portable air conditioning units, which each of our properties have installed (they are optional, not all owners buy them). This unit has one, it is as powerful as we can get for this home. We also have fans and additional portable AC units available upon request (this guest didn't request one).
Generally speaking, Mammoth Lakes is a mountain town at 9000’ above sea level. Our hottest days in the summer are in the low 80’s. (We have not had a day above 80 yet this year). It is very breezy here year round. I am unaware of any property other than commercial spaces that are truly air conditioned in Mammoth (my home included). Like a beach town, you just need to open a couple windows.
In the event of unseasonably hot weather, we do stock several portable air conditioning units and they can be rented for a daily fee (includes the electricity costs) with about 24 hours notice. Please call in advance to inquire/schedule a rental if you think you will need an A/C unit.
In terms of luggage dollies: while many complexes in Mammoth (such as The Village, Juniper Springs Lodge, and The Westin) resemble hotels, they are in fact condo complexes in which every home is individually and privately owned. JSL and the Village do both provide luggage carts in the lobby areas near the front desk, however as an off-site property manager, we do not have access to or control over their availability. (You are free to use them if available).
