Charming house on the banks of the Loire, close to the historic center of Tours on foot or by bike with immediate access to the towpath
Quietly, this house can accommodate a maximum of 4 people and 1 baby. 1 bedroom with a double bed and a bedroom with a 90 cm bed and an additional mattress. Baby cot available.

Wonderful!

Really enjoyed our stay in the quaint little cottage-like condo. The location is fantastic and suggest bringing or renting bikes as it is right on the river bike path. Property owners are outstanding and were so helpful in many ways. Look forward to visiting again.

The house of the Mariner is a cozy little place by the river. There is a pleasant river walk that passes by the house. The location is away from the bustle but close enough to the tourist areas that getting there is not a problem. There is parking steps away from the front door. The only caution I would mention is the stairs. Short but steep. We simply left our luggage downstairs and carried what we needed to the bedroom. Really not an inconvenience. The pantry was stocked with basics. There is an excellent boulangerie not half a block away. We would definetly stay there again.

Great location for visiting the Loire valley.

We enjoyed our stay at this property which is on the banks of the Loire and ideally situated to visit the rest of the region. There is a boulangerie across the road, and it is a relatively short walk to the centre of the town. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. The property has character and the only negative was some disturbed sleep due to the busy road, though this may be unavoidable given the location. There is nowhere private to sit out, but the bank of the Loire is outside the door!

Compact Riverside house

Small but perfectly formed. Only lack of its own outside space, access to a terrace so we could eat outside, was our only frustration. Marc on behalf of his mum was excellent. Because of its aspect the house was very hot in the over 30C weather. We appreciated the ready access to buses and of course the Riverside

Petite maison TRES propre et bien équipée. Un accueil très sympathique. Juste un peu déçue par le lit d'appoint qui s'est révélé être un matelas gonflable et l'absence de volets ( surtout avec la chaleur) surtout dans la chambre des enfants.

Séjour très agréable

Vue sur la Loire, possible de rejoindre le centre ville de Tours en empruntant les chemins de halage, très belle ballade. Beaucoup de choses à visiter dans les environs, château d’Azay le Rideau, Chinon, Amboise et le Clos Lucé, la cité médiéval des loches, … La maison est décorée avec goût, notre hôte nous réservé un excellent accueil, elle aime et connaît parfaitement sa région, elle a pu nous indiquer les visites incontournables et nous partager de très bonnes adresses pour se restaurer.

Excellent accueil (très chaleureux: nous remercions notre hôte pour ses bons conseils et ses bonnes adresses). La maison est bien équipée, et la literie est de qualité. Elle est également bien située afin de visiter les châteaux de la Loire. Un bémol: la maison est située en bord de route assez passante (ce qui a été gênant avec les températures estivales pour dormir fenêtres ouvertes).
