The main living area paying homage to the airport our building sits walking distance from. The couch is a full sized fold down bed that we think is extremely comfy! And great for fitting a few more fellow travelers!
The couch folds down into an extremely comfortable full sized bed, great for packing in a few extra friends for your stay!
Separate bedroom with queen platform bed. If you have trouble bending down be aware platform beds are lower to the ground than normal beds. It has a door to separate it from the rest of the unit. It also has it's own private half bath.

Welcome to The Hanger!



We didn't think Lansing had enough hip, unique short term rental options, so we've set out to create some!



The Space:

- Garden Level Floor unit

- 2 BR w/ Queen bed

- 1 BA

- 1 Couch

- Full Kitchen

- Dining Area

- 55" Roku Smart Tv in Main Room

- Free High Speed WiFi

- Free Shared laundry on garden level



Guest Access:

Guests have access to the entire unit. The unit is private. You will not share it with anyone else.



The Neighborhood:

Our building is located in a seasoned, industrial pocket of Lansing, a 10-15 minute drive from downtown Lansing and MSU.



Getting Around:

- Uber

- Lyft

- Local taxi and bus service available



Other Things to Note:

-The shared washer and dryer is located on the first floor.

-Laundry room is available in the basement anytime after 4pm.

-Extra towels and sheets available on request.



We stay as hands off as possible, but please feel free to message us with any needs or concerns and we'll get back to you promptly.

Did not have accommodations for 6. Toilet was broken, cabinet door was broken, coffee maker had old and moldy grounds in it and no coffee pot. Over all my family and I were very disappointed.

Overall we had a very nice stay. Someone had stayed in room unpaid before us. The problems left behind were taken care of quickly and totally. Was nice staying where we could make our own meals. However, at motels there is a weekly rate and I would like to see that at this apartment. We actually paid more than we have at the Holiday Inn. On the night we left the trash was completely full and I had to work to put ours away. Also the master bath toilet backed up and almost overflowed. Plunger took care of that problem, but when shaving and running water at vanity the water caused bubbling in the toilet. All in all we were pleased but thought a weekly or monthly rate would meet our needs more.

Disappointment

Now I will preface this by saying that the unit I am reviewing is not the one that was shown as I was told the morning of check in that I needed to move to another one of their units due to the boiler being out. I selected the unit from the ones they offered. Upon my arrival the unit was not cleaned and member of staff was cleaning it was going to be another 2 hours until it was ready for me. I left my belongings and left as I was in town for work. When I returned the unit was still dirty. The floors were sticky and stained, the walls and vents were covered in dust. The area of the unit was in a very questionable area as well. I did not report these issues since I was working night shift and needed the day to sleep. Overall a huge disappointment.

We have to take full responsibility for the issues on this stay. While we disagree about the quality of the neighborhood, we definitely understand how this guest had a bad experience. We had our boiler go out two days before Christmas. Then had a pipe burst as a result. These issues have been fixed, but caused for a fair amount of headache for both us and our guests. We are very sorry for the poor experience Kesley.

Excellent experience! Was on a long-term work assignment and this cute apartment had everything that I needed. Spacious with comfortable beds and everything I needed in the kitchen. Woukd highly recommend!
