This antique, updated summer cottage, named the Flying Seahorse, is 160 feet from the famous Inkwell Beach, a short walk to town ferries and bustling Circuit Avenue shops and restaurants, nestled in the Copeland Historic District of Oak Bluffs, Martha's Vineyard. We are two blocks from a beautiful playground, basketball and tennis courts.


This beach cottage has four bedrooms (plus one ''boxcar'' loft room ideal for teens and children over the age of eight) and two full bathrooms (each with shower, one bath per floor). The cottage sleeps 10. Air-conditioning units are in the upstairs bedrooms, downstairs bedroom and living room for your comfort!

The cottage features a modern granite kitchen with modern appliances including a dishwasher, garbage disposal and all the gadgets you need to prepare your vacation meals. Outdoors you will find an outside shower and gas grille. The cottage has ocean views and is across from Seaview Ave. You can sit out on our 3-season porch or the private 2nd floor balcony to enjoy an ocean view with your morning coffee!

We provide bulky items you wont need to haul over from the mainland such as beach chairs, a cooler, linens (sheets, pillowcases, blankets), bath towels, (even beach towels just ask), beach toys for the kids, tennis rackets, basketballs (for local public courts two blocks away). Let us know if you need a pack and play for babies or toddlers!

There is one convenient downstairs bedroom that has a king-size bed, perfect for those who may have difficulty with stairs. It has cable HDTV and a window air conditioner.

Second floor bedrooms include our ''Dream in Green Room'' with one queen size bed, window air conditioner, cable HDTV and Roku. The ''Pink Magenta Room'' has one double bed, one twin bed, window air conditioner, cable HDTV and Roku. ''The Loft'' has one full-size bed and one twin bed, both accessible by ship ladder **best for older kids and teens, not recommended for children under 8 years. Finally, the ''Soft Canary Room'' has a private second story balcony you can enjoy the ocean breeze and sunrise over a view of the Inkwell beach.There's also one double bed, one twin bed, window air conditioner and TV with cable and Roku. All necessary linens included.

If you bring a car over, parking is available for one vehicle
