Le Provençal Appt: Facing the beach & the turquoise sea. A/C, 5pers max.
To allow you to travel without the usual Saturday traffic jams, you will be welcomed every day of the week, between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., by appointment only. You will explained the apartment, the city and the neighborhood. Likewise, departures take place every day of the week.
You will appreciate the ideal location of this apartment located opposite the beach where you will have plenty of time to admire the turquoise sea and the palm trees of the famous Promenade du Soleil.
You will be very close to the pedestrian street, the old market full of charm, the new Cocteau museum and the Casino, close to the old town of Menton and a stone's throw from minimarkets, banks & shops of all kinds…
Everything is close enough for you to enjoy their benefits without being bothered by the noise. Forget your car and enjoy walking all over Menton during your entire stay!
The apartment of approximately 70 m2 is located on the 3rd floor [4th floor in the USA] (an elevator is available to the 2nd floor / 3rd floor in the USA). It includes everything you need for a pleasant stay with family or friends: - 2 bedrooms (double bed of standard French size of 140cm),
- 2 bathrooms (one with toilets)
- separate toilets
- a small mezzanine (where the 5th bed is located) overlooks the living room. We draw your attention to the fact that the small staircase leading to it is quite steep and not suitable for young children (120 cm wide 'fireside' type bed),
- Next to the large living room is the fully equipped kitchen: dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, TV...
- individual air conditioning in each room.
- free wifi
Linens, shower towels, beach towels and dish towels are provided. It is therefore important that you book for the appropriate number of guest involved. Cleaning fees (linens & appt) will be asked on your arrival (to be paid cash or from a French bank) 2026 fares = €170.
The residence's small garden is at your disposal if you want to have a drink or simply relax.
Public parking nearby. Optional private parking (payable) subject to availability.
We would like to draw our vacationers attention to the fact that this beautiful 1880 building is not quite adapted to guests with disabilities (the original lift has narrow doors, there are a few steps the enter the building...). Please, in case of need, do not hesitate to ask questions.
Catherine or Philippe welcomes each vacationer by appointment and presents the apartment, the neighborhood & Menton. So remember to inform them, via the site's messaging system, of your mode of transport (plane, train, car) and your estimated time of arrival as quickly as possible in order to set up this appointment.

This is the third time my family have stayed in this apartment and again its a fantastic place in a wonderful city, we had another great time, with it being really close to the sea and brilliant local restaurants
We got a very warm welcome, Catherine was so helpful and gave us many recommendations. The apartment has a beautiful view and is next to the old town of Menton. Everything was perfect and we enjoyed our stay very much.
Very nice apartment, wonderful location for beach, restaurants, markets, shops.
The view of the sea is wonderful.
Our hosts Cath and Phillipe werr amaxing.
Awesome location. We loved the apartment it had everything we needed to enjoy it and the beach. Catherine was great and provided so much helpful information that enhanced our stay greatly.
We’ve just enjoyed a wonderful week staying at this apartment in Menton. Ideally located, clean and very comfortable with everything we needed. Catherine was very helpful, allowing us to check in early after our early morning flight and then going through everything we might need.
We hope to return! Thank you
Very nice apartment, so close to the beach with a great view over it. Clean and well appointed, nice touch that those little bits and pieces were there already such as salt, pepper, sugar, oil, some spices and tea and coffee, kitchen towel, etc. Meaning we could just get on with the holiday and not have to shop for everything needed to cook, not that we did much cooking with all those restaurants around!A lovely apartment to spend the week in Menton in and very friendly and helpful hosts. Many thanks
Our two friends stayed with my husband and I at this apartment. We found it to be an ideal location as it was easy to get to restaurants, the beach and shopping. It has a charm about it despite it being in an older building. One room was tiny but had a private bath and beautiful view. The other room was larger and the loft came in handy. We were happy with how well taken care of it was.
very nice appartement directly in the first line at the seafront. Best location directly at the pedestrian area and all shops and restaurants. The market five minutes away. Long term parking possibilities 10min away. And the spirit of Menton which you have to feel to really appreciate. We surely will come back.

The location was terrific and the apartment would be adequate for a couple. But the second bedroom is very small, without a closet. There’s barely room to have a suitcase on the floor. The “loft” is silly. It’s not readily useable. The view of the Mediterranean is limited. Basically the apartment a modest facility that’s well managed but that doesn’t make it physically nicer. We simply didn’t want to spend time there. It’s not lovely.
As you can see from the main exterior publicity photograph, the location is exquisite, in the centre of Menton, and right on the promenade, only across the road from the beach. The view from the balconette (top storey of the building, right hand window) encompasses mountains, beach, town and sea, and, south facing, gives incomparable views of the Mediterranean light, particularly at sunrise and sunset. The town is very Italianate in all sorts of ways – there are as many Italian restaurants as French, and most will agree this is about the happiest marriage of cuisines you can find – but also there is a preponderance of noisy motorbikes, which can knock some of the gloss off the location, though the shady garden offers some screening from this, with its exotic plants and trees. The apartment is really well equipped, particularly the kitchen, though the beds are a tad disappointing. The building is a historic gem, with a fine staircase and wonderful Belle-Époque lift.Cathérine and Philippe, who manage the property with their irresistible doe-eyed dog Twix, are lovely hosts and easy to contact. Catherine is eager to explain everything about Menton to you when you first arrive – though all the information is there in writing as well, in the cornucopia of filed documentation, and she didn't quite get how tired, hungry and thirsty we were!We greatly enjoyed this gorgeous spot in the far south-eastern corner of France.
We had a wonderful stay here in Menton. The apartment is in a perfect location with a great beach right in front and a one minute walk to the food market, restaurants, cafes and shops. It is a pebbled and large stone beach so you do need beach shoes and the padded mats supplied with the apartment but we loved it here and had lots of fun in the sea with its waves. There is a sandy beach around a 7 min walk from the apartment with a wide boarded promenade and calmer sea if you prefer though and both beaches have lifeguards. The apartment itself was perfect for our family of five and had everything we needed for our stay. The view from the lounge was like a picture postcard of the Mediterranean and the 2nd bedroom looks out onto the Basillica. You can step out onto the balcony in the lounge which was a lovely surprise. The building itself is beautiful and we didn't mind the stairs at all, although did use the lift up to the second floor on arrival and departure with our luggage. The handover by Catherine was so informative and welcoming. We felt really safe in Menton and happy to let our teenage children have independence to go to the lifeguarded beach, shops and markets. We used the train to transfer to and from the airport and for sightseeing during our stay and it was so easy and affordable. Everywhere you look in Menton is a feast for the eyes with so much history and beauty. We will definately be back, this has been one of our favourite family holidays
Det var «lavere» takhøyde enn normalt grunnet flere bjelker i taket. Dette gjorde at de høyeste av oss, automatisk bøyde oss når vi gikk under disse. Står ikke noe om dette i annonsen som vi har sett. .
