Imagine : You arrive in a lovely little mountain spa, family-run and lively all year round.
Everything is there !
You discover the address:
First good surprise, you are close to everything: shops, restaurants, ski lifts (it's a 10 minute walk and there is also a free shuttle at the foot of the adjacent building), rink, swimming pool, station of the legendary TMB (Tramway du Mont-Blanc), shuttle to the thermal baths, children's park, etc ...
Access to amenities and leisure for all generations, 2 steps from the apartment.
One of the first pleasures of a vacation is to be able to forget your car !
Then, discovery of the apartment :
It is duplex on the 1st and last floor of a small chalet-style house, spacious, warm, and above all immaculately clean ... in short, you feel good right away.
Quickly I save the WIFI access code, even on vacation, impossible to do without the internet !
As soon as you arrive, of course everyone chooses their room :
we hesitate ...
- the master bedroom with its 1.60 bed (the bedding is new and of quality, it is important even and especially on vacation!) with en-suite shower room and WC,
- ... or the bedroom on the terrace side, also with a 1.60 bed but also a mountain view, to be discovered with happiness in the morning; this bedroom adjoins the pretty brand new bathroom with its 1.20 x 90 jet shower...
In addition the toilets are independent.
- For the youngest no hesitation it will be the smallest bedroom with 1.40 bed and its small "bathroom": a simple sink / bathroom cabinet, but like that no queue in the morning for a simple brushing of teeth , shaving or drying hair (yes yes there is also a hairdryer, as in the other 2 bathrooms).
We did not have to rent sheets and towels and the beds are made on arrival, all at no extra cost, it's cool ...
Everyone is installed, we can finally taste a good Nespresso or classic coffee or a good tea accompanied by "sweets", because our hosts have everything planned;))
We then discover a little more in detail, this place which will be our "Chez Nous" for a few days:
- The comfortable Living / Dining room opening onto a 50 m² furnished terrace.
Everything is there :
Garden furniture and deckchairs where you can sit to appreciate the Savoy wine offered on our arrival, and admire the panoramic view of the Fiz and Aravis chains !
- If weather permits, we can even "eat outside", everything is planned, moreover a "garden" of aromatic herbs is at our disposal!
- Besides, we will be able to cook "like at home", as the kitchen equipment is complete, there is even a CuisiCook Robot cooker, and of course, the essential services at Fondue and Raclette, we are in Haute Savoie all the same and it is so practical ... :))
I feel that we are going to enjoy!
Well, now we are going to unload the luggage left in the car.
It is very practical because it is parked right in front of, at the foot of the stairs.
We still have to go rent our skis, because we did not think about doing it by internet, it is 2 steps away.
Then, no stress or rush, no need to rush to the Tourist Office because all the brochures are here at our disposal, as well as a piste map: 450 km all the same thanks to the EVASION package.
Now, I leave you because I will immerse myself in reading the "Book" in which we find all the practical information but also "the little story" concerning this place which, in addition, has kept a soul :))
