About this property

Beautiful Ocean View! Newly renovated kitchen and 2 Air Conditioners

Our 2 bedroom condo is located on the 3rd floor at the Kihei Akahi.
Newly renovated kitchen. We installed not one but two split Air Conditioners! One split AC is located in the Living Room and one split AC in the Master bedroom.
Great ocean views from the lanai / balcony. Have your breakfast on the lanai and watch the ocean activities and in the evening enjoy the spectacular Maui sunsets.
Located in Building D, this is a quiet building at the back of the property away from the main road. 2 full washrooms.

Features include: In Suite washer/dryer, electronic Kaba door lock (no clunky lock box to fight with), complimentary 5G high-speed Wi-Fi, LED 45 inch flat-screen TV in the living room (with Netflix!) The lanai is spacious and comes equipped with both, Hi top bar table/stools and a separate table that seats 4.

The Master bedroom has a California King size bed and en suite with a shower, toilet and sink. The 2nd bedroom has 2 x twin size beds. The 2nd washroom is a full washroom with a bathtub, shower, toilet, sink and is located in the hallway.

The kitchen is stocked with every cooking utensil you will need, including barbecue accessories. The kitchen has a microwave, dishwasher, stove and fridge. For fun on the beach, there is a beach umbrella, 4 beach chairs, 2 coolers and lots of large beach towels. Tastefully decorated, you will feel right at home yet with a subtle island flair to remind you that you are no doubt in paradise.

Free parking in a dedicated parking stall is included. The property has 1 tennis court / pickle ball court, 2 gated pools with plenty of chaise lounges and 2 BBQ areas with gas BBQ’s for grilling up your steaks and fresh seafood.

Kihei is beach-combing territory on Maui’s southwest shore, the sunniest and driest end of the island. Kihei Akahi is located across from Kamaole II Beach which is one of three of the finest beaches on Maui and is just a few minutes walk from our condo.

Kihei Akahi is a "Hotel Zoned" complex compliant with STR (Short Term Rental) legislation.

We were surprised to find all the accommodations available as if you were going to your sisters home. Extra trash bags, toilet paper, even some aloe lotion. Salt pepper, cooking oil. A real sponge!! Washing detergent. Right?! Like why don’t other places provide these things. They cost a fortune to purchase and we use so little of them! In addition there were two coolers, with ice boxes ready to go in the freezer! We saved a ton of money packing lunches everyday. It didn’t matter what we did, we took 1/2 sandwiches and snacks and drinks and so therefore we only bought appetizers or desserts around town and didn’t waste time sitting down to eat. The condo was perfect! There is no ac in the second bedroom but they had fans that my kids said they were ok with. We watched the complex attendants clean the pool every morning, a full deep clean too! Amazing property. I have never ever stayed in a condo that the kitchen was completely clean, but this one was! I was shocked! Communication was instant! Also came with beach chairs, umbrella and they had some boogie boards and noodles. The area is convenient, full of life and close to everything. We liked it so much we never left to see the other beaches…except for Hana. Loved it!

The location is what makes this a great place to stay! We were able to walk across the street to a beautiful beach for sunsets and also able to walk to stores. We appreciated having a good kitchen because we cooked breakfast every morning. We also absolutely loved hanging out at night on the balcony.

Beautiful property

The attention to detail at this property was impressive. The grounds featured manicured gardens, the common areas were constantly being cleaned, and the location was within walking distance of the beach, restaurants and shopping. The condo was comfortable and the views from the lanai amazing. We enjoyed our stay here.

Good overall. We found most everything we needed. We found the provisions a bit skimpy such as no Kleenex….and the couch was not very comfortable. The back bedroom was really warm.

Mattress comfort is a matter of personal preference. We are very sorry to hear you found the mattress uncomfortable. We appreciate you bringing to our attention a new trash basket is needed for the bathroom and kitchen. We will purchase new trash baskets. Regarding there is no TV in the bedroom, our VRBO description clearly identifies there is 1 TV in the living room. Thank you for taking the time for providing feedback.

We enjoyed our stay at this one bedroom condo in kihei. Walk to beach Kam Sand 2, close to restaurants. Reserved parking spot. AC in main family room and master bed worked great. clean. comfortable master bed. good amenities even though we did not cook. beach chairs and umbrella cooler. great communication with host.
