Super séjour dans cet appartement à l'Alpe d'Huez

L'appartement est vraiment très bien et correspond tout à fait au photos. Le contact avec les propriétaires est aussi vraiment très agréable. Et même si l'appartement n'est pas situé "au pied des pistes" il est vraiment proche et cela ne nous a pas vraiment gêné de faire quelques dizaines de mètres pour rejoindre les pistes. Si nous revenons à l'Alpe d'Huez nous choisirons probablement de nouveau cet appartement. Merci aux propriétaires pour le bon séjour que nous y avons passé.

Vacances d'hiver

Séjour fort agréable à l'Alpe d'Huez. Le gite est très bien situé, en bord de piste, parfait ! Il est également proche de deux supermarchés, c'est très pratique. Nous avons été très bien accueillis et le gite est tout confort. Merci beaucoup pour votre accueil chaleureux.

très bel appartement et bon emplacement

L'appartement, au dernier étage d'une petite résidence, a été refait récemment avec goût. Très bien équipé et très propre. L'emplacement est très bon puisque il se trouve à 50 m des pistes.

L’appartement est idéalement situé pour un accès aux pistes comme pour se promener au centre de l’alpe. Très propre, refait à neuf avec beaucoup de goût, très bien équipé, nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Nul doute que nous y retournerons!

Nous avons passés une très belle semaine dans ce charmant appartement. Il est très bien situé à 5mn de la piste qui rejoint le départ des cours ESF. Résidence calme, bien exposé. Rien ne manque dans l'appartement qui est très bien décoré. Nous avons loués nos ski au magasin juste en face de la résidence ce qui état très pratique. Nous reviendrons certainement , merci à Mme et Mr Fructus pour leur gentillesse.

Convenient location - but disappointing stay

I relayed our poor experience to the owner, but unfortunately have yet to be given an explanation (1 week later) so feel obligated to share our negative experience at this apartment. Upon arriving, we were eventually greeted by M. Charreton who let us in to the apartment. It was clear that no one had been inside in awhile - everything was dirty (top to bottom, covered in hair & dust), the power & water were turned off, there was food left in the freezer that had gone rotten and left a terrible smell, and all of the outdoor furniture was inside; leaving little room for our suitcases. The bunkbeds were also dirty. M. Charreton then charged us 35 euros to rent 2 sets of towels, and 1 set of sheets. We have traveled extensively (using VRBO) and have never had to rent these basic essentials before. I understand this may be acceptable in Huez, but 35 euros seems unreasonable (especially considering this is not disclosed in the listing). Furthermore, we later discovered that we were given the wrong size sheet. M. Charreton came with a new one that evening (10pm) but that sheet was dirty. It wasn't until the next day that we had a clean/correct sized sheet. Again, we understand it was a busy weekend, but this was disappointing. We also ran out of toilet paper and paper towels within one day, and later discovered there was no dishwasher soap. I don't think it is too much to ask for a refund on the on the sheet/towel rental (35 euros), again, since this is not disclosed. However, as mentioned, we have not heard back on this matter (email sent 7/14).

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Mme Fructus : le studio est entièrement refait à neuf, avec un travail de qualité et de bon goût. Il est de plus très bien placé par rapport aux pistes et aux commerces. L'accueil et la communication avec notre hôte ont été faciles et chaleureux. Nous recommandons !

All the ingredients for a great ski holiday

Lazy writing here, bullet points all the way... * Great communications from owner. Some information leaflets in room. * Decor is fresh, tasteful and offers a quality feel. Fairly good quality fixings. * Great facilities- dishwasher, coffee machines, kitchen ware, etc. It's all there. Only thing missing is a washing machine, which wasn't an issue for our 1 week ski holiday. * Good sized balcony, but it doesn't offer much of a view. You can see the slopes if you stand right at the barrier and look left. * Sofa is huge. There were only 2 of us, but 3 would be fine, 4 at a push. * Small room for the bunk beds, but beds themselves were of a good size and comfy. * Didn't use the sofa bed, but it feels like it would be comfy and it would definitely be roomy for a couple. * Location... 3 minute walk to slopes, 3 minutes to supermarket (fresh croissants from 8am), 4 minutes to Bensbus pick up point, 5-7 minutes from main drag, with restaurants, ice rink, outdoor swimming pool (VERY cold. I don't recommend it). 10+ minutes to indoor pool/ D'Huez central. * Good bathroom. Heated towel rail. Constant hot water for shower, medium pressure. * Loads of electrical sockets, including a couple of USB charge points. * Adequate ski storage area. Would need Tetris skills for ski equipment for more than 3 people. Near zero foot traffic, pretty dark though. Not heated/ no boot dryers. * Ample cleaning equipment provided. We were able to tidy up after our visit in about 20 minutes. * Deposit returned very quickly. Overall; If you like the look of it in the pictures, book it. It offers everything you'd want, such as close proximity to slopes and facilities. It's clean, well proportioned, good value. Any negatives are minor and won't have any significance to your ease and enjoyment.

Great ski vacation !!!

Very clean, newly renovated and nicely decorated studio. Equipped with everything you need for a great stay. Quit place in a central location near slopes, shops, restaurants and supermarkets. Parking is provided in front of the building. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definetely rent this studio again.

Nous avons passé une semaine dans cet appartement très agréable, rénové avec goût et très bien équipé. Les photos correspondent tout à fait à la réalité. Le studio est très bien situé : tout est accessible à pied en moins de 5 min (centre ville, pistes de ski, boulangerie et Carrefour Express) La propriétaire est très agréable et connaît très bien la station, elle est donc de bon conseil !
