BEACH HAIR DON'T CARE ⛱
Newly remodeled three bedroom two bath beach cottage in award winning Ocean Lakes. Cottage is only a short golf cart ride to the beach. This house comes with a golf cart (must be 21 and have a valid drivers license) and wifi. It has one king size bed, one queen size bed and a bunk bed. This house sleeps 6 people comfortably. Enjoy our covered porch with rocking chairs. There are flat screen TVs in all bedrooms and a large flat screen TV in the living area. Kitchen is equipped with all necessary cookware. There is a stacked washer and dryer in the hall closet. A gas grille for outdoor cooking is located outside. We have an enclosed outdoor shower with hot & cold water, perfect for getting the sand off after going to the beach.
Ample parking for 2 vehicles. Ocean Lakes does charge $15 per night, per vehicle for a parking pass if you obtain parking pass upon arrival. We do offer Express Check In which provides you with parking pass(es) in advance and the ability to drive on through the main gate and miss the check-in crowd upon arrival. In addition, express check-in provides incentive of a $3 per night discount, which brings parking to $12 per night, per vehicle and is payable directly to Ocean Lakes. Express check-in packet will be provided once balance is paid in full. If bringing more than 2 vehicles, you will need to utilize overflow parking area.
Renter is responsible for towels, linens and paper products. The $250 security deposit is required to hold the reservation (the deposit is refunded after checkout and the home is free from damage and no violations to the rental agreement).

Great house

This was our second time staying here. This house is perfect. Great location. So grateful that it included a golf cart. My favorite spot was the covered front porch for my morning coffee.

We loved this beach house! Very clean and nicely decorated. I loved the location. The owner is very nice, accommodating, and fast to respond. We love Ocean Lakes and have stayed in multiple homes, but this one is our favorite thus far. Highly recommend and we will return.

Well kept and maintained cottage was the perfect size for our family of 5, including kids aged 9 and 14. Kitchen was well equipped. Communication with owner was excellent.

The property was very nice. The location was great. Plenty of room for the 3 of us, and would accomodate a couple more. The kitchen was furnished with everything we needed. Was just as it was advertised. We have already booked another week!

Nice place in a convenient location. Everything worked as it should. Our only complaint was the tree in the driveway, we just had to maneuver around it with the car and golf cart.

Just as seen in the VRBO ad

As my friend and I were new to this type of vacation, while looking for a place through VRBO, the property was just as it appeared in the VRBO pictures, perfect for the 2 of us, and easy access around the property of OceanLakes with the golf cart included. Had a minor glitch and texted Ryan and received an answer within minutes, and an easy fix. We sat on the porch with access to 4 rocking chairs, and met a lot of new friends as they walked by. The street was very quiet in front of the property, and the neighbors were very friendly. All of the staff and security guards at OceanLakes were very friendly and helpful when my friend fell and broke her knee while there, and even escorted me to the hospital where she was taken and they checked up on her once she returned home. All the new friends we met during our stay were great. I would recommend this property and OceanLakes if you have never tried this area before.

The place was easy to find, arrival to ocean lakes was easy, email from VRBO pretty much gave us all the info we needed. Had a couple of questions and host answered quickly. The phone number for “Ryan” on the refrigerator is wrong, use the messaging through VRBO or the other number on the refrigerator. Bathrooms were very clean. The kitchen needs to be organized but was very clean. Hard to find items because renters have just put stuff everywhere, like I said kitchen items just need to be organized. Nice counter tops and sink and oven was clean. Nice furniture in living room. Decor was cute and gave you all the beach feels. King bed needs a new mattress!! You roll to the middle and you can see where it is sinking in the middle. Queen bed was fine. Bunks were fine. Closet space was available in king room and bunk room. There were items up top but plenty of floor space. Outside storage room needs cleaning out but golf cart was fine and stayed charged. I think overall this is a nice place. It think some spring cleaning and overall organizing would benefit the renters in the future. Thank you.

Awesome house, very clean, loved the decor, great place for a family! The master BR bed was extremely comfy and coming from the biggest bed snob EVER that’s a huge compliment. Having a golf cart was great and we thoroughly enjoyed carving pumpkins on the front porch. I also loved that the house is located on a quiet street with little traffic. Overall, wonderful stay! Book it!!

Gorgeous house. Very clean and well decorated. Only complaint is no dishwasher but with the kitchen space it makes sense. Would definitely stay here again. Also, had a couple questions and was answered promptly.

Great little rental

Okay.....

The property wasn't swept well, we cleaned up sand upon arrival. The king size bed was broken (a large gully in the middle of the bed) and we notified the owner immediately and the response was the cleaning crew didn't mention it, to which I replied we had just arrived and noticed it immediately and didn't want to be held responsible, and "sorry". I felt like I may be blamed, or they didn't really seem to care. The cabinet with pots/pans was PACKED and there was an avalanche when I tried to get a frying pan. There is a tree in the driveway which makes parking difficult. I'm not sure how two vehicles would fit. Luckily, it was not crowded so we parked sideways at the front of the driveway and in front. The "rules" posted were almost insulting. I actually felt quite nervous staying there that we wouldn't live up to their expectations of a guest. Washing machine was actually disgusting as mold is growing in the seal and needs to be addressed. I felt uncomfortable the entire time.
