Our light and bright home was remodeled and designed with all of the things we love: clean lines, lots of light, two huge master suites, gorgeous kitchen, hardwood floors, lots of outdoor living space, hot tub, and a big fenced yard for our pups. Your home away from home is roomy, immaculate and teeming with mid-century modern touches that will charm you into coming back. You'll love your proximity to Phil's Trail, Mt. Bachelor, downtown and the Cascade Lakes Highway.

• Guests have said it again and again....our home has great energy. It's filled with light and happiness. You'll love how it feels to be here.
• Nostalgic touches--you'll love the mid-century bar cart, my grandmother's davenport (a sofa to me and you) complete with her handwriting on the tag of the purchase date of 1969, and the collection of vintage mugs and afghans waiting for you to snuggle into.
• Fully stocked kitchen, complete with spices, oils, vinegars, etc.
• The towering pines and junipers that flank our home.
• The location at the end of the cul-de-sac--it's quiet and peaceful and the perfect place to relax after a day on the trail.

An absolute gem!

What a wonderful home! It is laid out beautifully for friends to stay as each main bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. There were 2 adults and a couple of dogs. Everyone had a fabulous time. The large fenced backyard was a giant plus for the dogs. They ran and played and chased birds for hours! The house is in an established, quiet neighborhood and was a close drive to everything we needed and wanted to see. A complete success!

Beautiful Bend Home!

Absolutely loved our stay here, the kitchen was fully stocked, the house is immaculately decorated and our dog loved the beautiful backyard. The neighborhood is so peaceful too. We went hiking to a few different places and this house was the perfect location for it. Will be back again soon for sure!

Bend Long Weekend

This home is wonderful, It's a very open floor plan. The kitchen is wonderful with plenty of counter space. It's in a quiet setting and easy to get to all the fun spots in Bend. We'll stay here again!

Amazing place

As advertised, very comfortable, charming. Fenced Backyard was perfect for our dogs too. Would have loved a TV in the main area but we ended up playing cards instead so it ended up being a needed break from the screen!

We moved to Bend in 1998, drawn here for the sunshine and recreation. We are avid outdoorsmen who love hiking, biking, camping, skiing, river rafting, dogs and drinking beer by the fire. We recently moved to Eastern Oregon full time, and continue to spend lots of time in Bend.

Why they chose this property

We waited five years for the perfect house to become available in Valhalla! We love this gem in an old established Bend neighborhood because of the large lots, mature trees, and amazing neighbors. Our neighbors are family!

Our house was completely remodeled in 2017-2018. We knocked down walls, opened up spaces, added new windows and outdoor gathering spaces. It's our part time home, and we are happy to share it with like minded travelers.

What makes this property unique

We are on the end of a cul-de-sac, so we have a lot of privacy and quiet. Our neighborhood was built without street lights, so we are one of the few places in the city where you can see the stars. And being on the west side means we are super close to trails and the great outdoors.
