Lake Lure is located in western NC between Asheville (home of the Biltmore estate)and Charlotte home of Carowinds amusement park and the White Water center. Lake Lure called one of the most beautiful lakes in the world by National Geographic boasts breath taking mountain views from its sparkling clean beach area. The 720 acre lake offers year round activities and Chimney Rock and the Hickory Nut Gorge only add to the endless opportunities for fun. If shopping is your forte you will enjoy the village shops of Chimney Rock, Rutherfordton, Hendersonville, Asheville and Black Mountain.

The Cabin in the Pines is a new easy to get to Lake Lure mountain view log home that boasts cabin décor and master bedroom on first level. You can warm up next to the fireplace, enjoy a movie, game or good book. You will enjoy the close proximity of Ingles grocery store (2 miles), Chimney Rock and Lake Lure beach (3 miles), a public golf course (1 mile), a public library where you can find a good book for yourself and the kids (walking distance) and a private lake (Mirror Lake) with beach and covered picnic area (2 blocks). You will leave refreshed, relaxed and ready to return. Most homes including ours do not have Wifi. Wifi is available at all public restaurants and library.

NC trip

The cabin was perfect for us and the location was great and close to everything we wanted to do. We enjoyed our trip and all the activities that we did while we were there. The Host for this cabin was great and gave us a list of many options for activities to do and see on our trip and answered all my questions quickly by text

Our second time renting this cabin!

We loved this cabin last summer and stayed here again just this past week. We love the access to the Broad River — the swimming hole and the nature walk with taps to play in. We also had a great time on the beach + in the water at Mirror Lake. It’s a great community and we had a great time, the hammocks on the wrap around porch are always a hit with our kids. There was a minor plumbing issue before we arrived, the owner let us know already of time and the issue was solved before we checked in. Each time we needed anything, he was very quick to respond to our texts. We highly recommend this cabin! It’s in a perfect location to do so many activities.

Beautiful house very close to the Lake and to Chimney Rock

This is a beautiful property, very clean and spacious. It was also well stocked with pretty much everything that we needed. I highly recommend.
