Our cottage is located in a small hamlet in the countryside, 4km from the village of Barroux and 3km from Malaucène, ideally located for visiting the Vaucluse (Next to the Dentelles de Montmirail and at the foot of Ventoux, the summit of which is 25 km away, Avignon and Orange at 35 km, Vaison-la-Romaine at 12km, the beautiful villages of the Luberon like Gordes, Bonnieux, Ménerbes at 50 km, L'Isle-sur-la Sorgue at 35 km). Nestled at the foot of the Clairier cliff, in the heart of cherry, apricot and olive orchards, you will appreciate the place for its calm and its immediate access to nature. Ideal for a family of 3 to 4 people, the gite, with an area of around 80 m2, is composed of a kitchen-dining room, a small sitting area, 2 bedrooms, a bathroom separate bath and wc. The terrace and the enclosed garden are wooded and private. In July and August, you will have free access to our swimming pool (7.5m x 3.5m), adjoining the gîte.
From the gîte, athletes will have the leisure to set off on a bike to conquer the nearby Mont Ventoux; walkers and nature lovers will embark on the surrounding trails and join the local GRs. We will also be happy to share with you our products: cherries, apricots and grapes in season, jams and olive oil. For holiday lovers with simple and authentic charm ...

Great location

Beautiful authentic house with very friendly and helpful hosts. Everything we needed was there. The house is located in a quiet area surounded by vineyards, olive and cherry trees. Smaller villages are easy accessible.

Wunderfull cottage

Authentic and very nice cottage in a rural environment. Malaucène is near by for a cafe or bar. The warm landlords are super nice and small gifts await you at the arrival, it doesn't get any better.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans ce gîte plein de charme, un véritable cocon où l'on se sent immédiatement comme chez soi. Tout est pensé avec soin : il ne manque absolument rien. Nous avons adoré nous détendre dans le petit jardin ombragé et profiter de la piscine sous le soleil. L'accueil d'Elisabeth a été exceptionnel : attentive, bienveillante et toujours aux petits soins. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt, die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht.Die Vermieterin war sehr nett und hilfsbereit.Die Lage erlaubt viele Tagesausflüge und wenn man mal nichts unternehmen will, kann man am Pool liegen und lesen.

Séjour en famille

Nous avons séjourner en famille mais dans un contexte où d'autres membres de la famille logeaient dans les environs. Nous avons donc beaucoup bougé. Le gîte est calme, frais et bien situé. La piscine est agréable. Certains voisins sont parfois un peu bruyants ;-) Mais ce sont les vacances. Les hôtes sont super sympas.

Excellent accueil , ,super séjour. L,'endroit est super tranquille, aucun bruit Rien ne manque. Belle piscine. Tout est parfait. Élisabeth est très prevenante et donne tous les conseils pour les visites et un super séjour. Tolle Ferienwohnung zur Erkundung des Mont Ventoux und Umgebung

Die Ferienwohnung ist wie in der Anzeige dargestellt. Sie ist gut eingerichtet mit allem, was man braucht. Der Pool im oberen Teil ist bestens zur Erfrischung nach allen sportlichen Aktivitäten geeignet (Wandern/Laufen/Radfahren). Der Sitzplatz im unteren Bereich ist herrlich eingewachsen und eignet sich bestens zum Lesen und die Nachmittage und Abende genießen. Die Gastgeberin Elisabeth und Ihre Familie sind wunderbar unkompliziert und stehen für Rat und Auskünfte immer gerne bereit. Wir wurden mit allerlei Produkten aus dem heimischen Garten (Trauben, Tomaten, Feigen, Olivenöl) sehr gut versorgt. Vielen Dank dafür. Als Ausgangslage für die Gegend rund um den Mont Ventoux ist die Wohnung sehr gut geeignet. Avignon ist auch schnell zu erreichen. Wanderungen und Fahrradtouren können direkt von der Wohnung aus gestartet werden. Alles in allem ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt.

Tolles Ferienhäuschen in der Natur

Gemütliches und geräumiges Steinhäuschen in ruhiger Natur mit äußerst gastfreundlichen Vermietern. Gepflegter Pool zur alleinigen Nutzung von 10-19 Uhr. Viele Ausflugsziele in der Umgebung. Es hat uns super gefallen. Merci beaucoup Elisabeth!

Maison de vacances idéalement située

Nous avons decouvert un cadre enchanteur ! Veritable maison de vacances, rien ne manque pour un agréable séjour (literie, équipements, coin piscine tres agréable au milieu d'un cadre magnifique, bercés par le chant des cigales). Mention spéciale à Élisabeth pour son accueil, sa disponibilité et ses bons conseils pour notre séjour. Un grand merci de nous 4 pour les delicieuses figues et à son époux pour le dépannage de notre voiture le jour du départ ...Nous reviendrons !

Rêve du Vaucluse

Le rêve de notre séjour est devenu réalité chez Elisabeth. Une maison charmante typique de ce coin de pays. Confortable, très propre avec tout le confort. Tranquille pour se reposer et une belle piscine entourée d'une végétation généreuse comme notre hôte. Nous reviendrons assurément !

Super séjour en famille

Le gîte était parfait pour notre famille avec tout l équipement nécessaire pour des vacances réussies ! Nos hôtes étaient charmants et disponibles. La vue du gîte et de la piscine était un vrai régal, tout autant que les figues du jardin. 🙂

Lovely base for cycling

The property had everything we needed for a week of cycling and enjoying the wines and markets of the area. Slightly quirky arrangement with bedrooms and bathroom on entrance floor and kitchen down the stairs due to the hill. Great shower and double sink in the bathroom. The house always kept cool with both shade and sunshine options depending on preference. Had enough space and everything needed for two couples. Situated near the head of the valley to catch the breeze with a fabulous view down to the plain over Le Barroux. 10 minutes on the bike from all the amenities in Malaucene (supermarket, boulangeries, restaurants). The Bedoin market on a Monday morning was one of the best that we have been to and there is so many options to taste wine. Domaine Le Clos des Cazaux in Vacqueyras was our favourite with a complete range and a fun lady to assist us. Brilliantly situated for some great cycling - Cingles du Mt Ventoux starting via Malaucene or Bedoin, Dentelles du Montmirail, Gorges du Nesque, Gorge du Toulerenc and cycling round the base of Mt Ventoux. Plenty of room to store bikes in hall or in their outhouse with the owners bikes. Elizabeth gave us a great welcome and in general the owners were very discreet and we never felt like we were intruding when using the shared pool.
