Spacious beautiful and clean 3 bedrooms 2 bath in a tropical resort setting. Condo is newly updated (2022) & updated annually. We have all stainless steel appliances, flooring and decor. Top rated unit with all updates. First floor walk in condo, with 1 KING bed, 1 Queens bed & 1 set of twin beds. Unit has high chairs & playpens (2) and a sofa sleeper in living room. Each bedroom has its own flatscreen TV with Roku. There is a large 55" Smart TV, Disney+ and DVD player in living room. Comfortable NEW KING bed and mattress in master bedroom and upgraded queen mattress in 2nd bedrm.
Resort has 4 swimming pools, 6 hot tubs, large sand area with volleyball & ping-pong, 2 pickle ball cts, bag-game, pool table, bags, foosball, nature walking trail, tetherball, basket ball, and bar/restaurant, Spa, fishing pier, splash pad/water play area, playground and grills with picnic areas are on property. This is a 24 hour gated community.
10 minutes to Disneys Gates. With all Disney parks have to offer for kids of every age.
You'll love our resort with 70 lush acres of tropical nature and activities. Or you may want to take a short drive to the local lakes, art shows, local festivals, water shows, crafts and manatees, the town of Celebration for a bike ride, Sea World, Lego Land and Universal... take a bit longer drive to beaches (approx 1.5 hr), winter park, Mount Dora... options are endless

Amazing Stay

This condo was amazing.Close to attractions and amazing amenities. We did find the Queen bed very uncomfortable so a quick trip to Walmart and got a mattress topper . The resort the condo is located in had so much to do. Very enjoyable and the hosts thought of about everything to make your stay pleasant. Thank you so much for sharing your home with our family

Clean and quiet

The property and neighborhood as a whole was very clean and wasn’t busy. The pool options are nice! Communication was more than 5star. There is something comforting when the host provides you with their cell number and responds almost immediately. Thank you for a great week and wonderful condo! Family of 5 fit perfectly.

Disney trip

Had a great time at this unit. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Nice tvs with easy hookups if you want to use your own device. All units have Roku which is very nice and there is spectrum cable with all the channels you’ll need plus some. Would definitely consider staying here again if we come back to the area.

Lots to do to stay busy

We loved the splash pad, pools, and beach area. Close to everything and made our trip to Disney super easy being only 20 minutes away. Highly recommend!

Great stay!

The property offers a lot of amenities and is great for families. Hosts were quick with response times and overall the property was great. We ran out of toilet paper and paper towels on the last day, not a huge deal but for the cost I would appreciate paper goods to be included.

Girls trip

We enjoyed a lovely vacation at Bahama Bay Resort. Although only one of the restaurants was open due to Covid, our condo was beautiful, just like the photos. Location was very convenient, just seconds from one of 4 pools. Owners Gary and Laura were very responsive to all my questions and concerns. Would definitely stay there again. Thanks for a wonderful trip.

A Perfect Vacation

Perfect for our family vacation!! This is a beautiful condo, plenty of room for us and our teenage daughters. Very clean and well maintained. Beautiful and Clean!

The property was beautifully decorated and clean. We were impressed with how well the unit was maintained. Did I say it was clean… it was clean!! The beds were comfy. We enjoyed our stay and will keep this place on our list. Stores were close by to buy needed items. Only down fall was unfortunately a family stayed above us and we could hear them drop stuff & kids running around.

Trip to paradise.

I had an amazing time. Laura was quick to respond and you can tell the moment you walk in that she takes great pride in making her guests feel at home in her lovely condo. The condo is in a great location. Close to major theme parks and so much more. The condo is beautiful, super clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The resort is gorgeous and has so many amenities I really didn't want to leave. I will definitely return to this condo on my next trip to Florida. This is one you don't want to miss.

Fabulous!

This is our second year staying in this condo! We love that you can walk to the basketball court, shuffleboard, the splash pad, playground and to the walking path. There is a quiet pool directly behind the condo. My kids love to play in the sand at the main pool. Love that you can order food at this pool as well. The condo itself is extremely well maintained and very clean. I am very picky where I stay. We love all the furnishings and how it makes us feel at home. Don’t hesitate, rent this condo today!

Nice Clean Place

Great property, very clean and the hosts were excellent to work with! Loved the heated pool right out the door and the grounds were very pretty, saw a small alligator by the pond. The only issue we had was the family staying above us was very inconsiderate and loud late into the night with their kids wrestling and stomping on tbe floors making tons of noise right above the bedroom. Only problem with a first floor place.

Wonderful Christmas visit

We stayed in the condo for 2 weeks over Christmas and New Year. Easy to locate the resort, easy to arrive and check in. Condo was spotlessly clean, spacious and very well equipped. Modern decor and bright not some other places we have stayed, lovely welcome basket which was thoughtful. We really enjoyed the Bahama Bay resort itself, it is a real gem, lots of pools and I even used the spa for treatments. 25 mins drive to Disney so not bad, lots of shops / places to eat within 10 minutes drive so great location. Owners and agents were very responsive and quick to answer our queries, I would highly recommend this condo.

Basic Ammenities

This property had WiFi connectivity issues the entire week we were there, which can not be reset by the guest. We were in Orlando mostly for an athletic competition, not vacation- and planned to work from the condo. Do not plan to be able to use WiFi or have very good phone reception- as none of our phones worked inside the condo at all. If you’re looking to disconnect from your phone- this condo will do it though ;) The kitchen was incredibly basic in appointments, and didn’t have ample pots and pans to cook a full meal- and no containers for food storage. Great for a few days maybe, but not for an extended stay. If you are used to a gourmet chicken in your rentals, you won’t be happy with this kitchen. On our last morning, we woke up to no A/C. Thinking someone in my family turned it off, I reset it and went out for the day. We returned to the condo that evening to find the condo was still hot, and since it was late- nobody available to come out and fix it. The bed in the back bedroom is old and worn out. The springs are loud. You’ll be more comfortable on the pull out couch in the living room! Sleep there! This property has a fitness center, but you can’t use it! It’s reserved for resort guests that book through the resort only. This property listing doesn’t talk about the gym (because you can’t use it)... so if you see it when you get there, that’s why. The condo is gorgeous! The decor is wonderful and this condo is in a quiet location! I would say if you are looking for an affordable alternative to a basic hotel suite, this will do the job- this is a newer property for the current owners and I imagine that the above listed quick fixes would likely be addressed promptly by them. I only mention my experiences so that they know where the property might need attention! :)

We have loved sharing our Branson and Gulf Shores condos through VRBO. But when visiting Orlando, we knew we had to add this destination. The weather is warm and tropical with so many things to see and do. I do not believe we will ever tire of this beautiful place.

Why they chose this property

We picked this complex because it is an all inclusive vacation destination, with restaurant/bars, pools (4 seasonally heated), beach volleyball, ping pong, foosball, game room, sand cornhole game, walking trails, lake fishing, spa, splash pads, marketplace, tennis, basketball, shuffle board, and 6 hot tubs... there are times you may just want to stay on property and feel you're in a tropical setting. This placed is perfect for being just as active or as lazy as you may desire for your vacation.
On site restaurant is 'Tradewinds', which is a Vacasa property and hosts live performances, Karaoke and more. The Bahama Bay has enough amenities so that you can stay at condo, relax and eat-in & find activities on-site. But the local wildlife, parks, restaurants, activities and nightlife offer some wonderful choices well worth seeking out.

What makes this property unique

Walk-in unit overlooking pool and tropical landscape. This location can't be beat! Our condo is steps away from the pool and hot tub and a short walk to the club house. A short drive or a longer walk to the busier end of complex, which is the 'Tradewinds' restaurant and bar... while still on property. This resort is a 24 hour gated/security manned community. Yet a short drive to the many theme parks, shopping ctrs or hang-out districts in Orlando.
