Excellent Location
The location and size of this house are great! We were able to easily walk to the beach as well as to dinner.
The house was not very clean. This was frustrating because we paid a hefty cleaning fee as well as followed the check-out procedures which included cleaning, even washing and drying the dishes. The blankets smelled so we had to wash them prior to using them. There were long hairs in much of the home (in dishes, in clean towels) and one of the showers was full of sand and water when we arrived. The home did not appear to have been cleaned prior to our visit. There were quite specific check-in and out procedures which was fine but unexpected.
The home only had 1 bottle of soap which we found in the upstairs bathroom. If we had known in advance, we would have come prepared but instead we ended up needing to buy hand soap, dish soap, laundry detergent and paper towels/toilet paper.
Denise, who we communicated with, was very friendly and helpful. VRBO, however, was not. We had a pricing glitch and VRBO would not support me with that problem at all. I would recommend if you are going to rent this home that you go directly through their own site.
Even with the frustration of the cleanliness, we had a wonderful time! I would rent this home again but just know what to expect and bring.
